My idea would be to install a pull-down canopy, similar to those on a camper. One that could be pulled out when needed and closed when not needed.
Your next house needs a air conditioned work shop..
cause that was ridiculous all that running in and out of the rain.
JUST BUY A NEW CANAPY FOR NOW.. they can’t be that expensive, (they aren’t in Australia at Bunnings)
Next Andrea project, has to…HAS TO BE turning her garage into a workshop or getting a shed and making into a workshop . She needs the right space, the organization,etc. She has built so many beautiful spaces on the driveway, this is long overdue. She needs a workshop

Tip from someone living in a rainy country: as soon as you think rain is coming, you immediately bring anything you don't need inside. You also make sure you are set up in a way to bring anything inside or cover up in 1 min 🤭

I think since you do so much of work, your next project should be to make your garage (since it is so huge) into a workshop. It would ideal for doing work and you and Dean not getting overly hot all the time or depending on the weather.

I think a retractable awning would be a great addition to the garage. Something you can hook to the other side of the house.
Oh my goodness you guys have serious patience! I know the garage is not anything you wanna tackle but you have the ablity. You need to put shelves cabinets and deep drawers floor to ceiling on three walls utilizing racks from the ceiling to organize garage. Use the flooring as your workshop well lit, large fan amd heater when needed equals uninterrupted creativity from the weather lol. Well since I’ve started to design your garage let me finish I forgot what you call it but pour your flooring in your garage with the specs in it. Have yourself a nice fridge in the corner with a microwave and a coffee maker and a couple of chairs or barstools. Don’t forget a utility sink for the messy moments. Put your logo up DIY wife! You guys make fantastic videos. I patiently wait for the next one always.

I'm in Florida, gulf coast area; our weather is pretty close to yours. I also, think it's cold when it's in the 50's.
NOTE - can you guys please by a small trailer that you can tow with your van, just seems it would be so much easier for hauling materials. Not having to tear seats out and put it all back together after each Lowe's trip would save so much time and aggravation.

91°F here in Far North Queensland, Australia the past month. Starting to get a bit higher now as we edge closer to summer. We have 73°F as our high in 'winter' with a rare day or 2 colder. Although today in mid November is its a bit cooler, and it's about 75°F today with a nice storm brewing in the distance. Our wet season is gearing up. Bring on monsoonal rain and sweltering/suffocating heat in about a month.

Awesome per usual! From Washington, DC and I’d say late October is usually in the 50s-60s the past few years. It was unseasonably warm this October, like 60s-80s. It’s November 17th and we had a high of 70 today!! 😱😱
The weather out here in Staten Island, NY has been anywhere from the 40’s to 70’s. Haven’t seen fall weather like this linger around in quite some time. There were years that we would have “fall type of weather” for what felt like a week, then winter cold. … can’t wait to see how the bookshelves turn out. You make me want to buy a saw and start building things. 😂 love your channel!

Amazing progress. Can't wait for next week. We had relatively warm weather in October in Ohio and then out of nowhere, snow! That took a couple of days to melt and we haven't seen it since but definitely a warning to start getting ready for winter weather.
