University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves now play at the 800-seat Seawolf Sports Complex after having horrible attendance at the 6,200-seat Sullivan Arena...so they're the smallest now.
The Ralph in Grand Forks where North Dakota plays is hands down the largest. Its only hockey all the time. Its also the nicest hockey arena I have ever been in. The seats are leather, the floor has marble inlays of the Fighthing Sioux mascot. Its ridiculous. Taj Mah Hal of Hockey.

I’ve been to Mariucci, the “new” Ralph, the “old” Ralph and the Hockey center in St Clould. Seen the rink you have from the outside when I was visiting two years ago. I’m bringing the family for a good game next winter. Year after that, I’m going to Bemidji, then Mankato. I won’t be going to the Kohl center because it sucks and it’s not a real rink.
I think this is a little skewed.... look at Ohio state. Yeah, the play at the Schott, but, it’s not just a hockey arena. It’s home to the basketball team also. I think if this was hockey specific arenas it would be way different.

Think of it. If North Dakota were to play ASU at their home ice on a weekend in January- it would have to be the yotes facility and would be a sea of green. Probably 10,000 North Dakotans would travel to the game and every snowbird in Arizona would attend as well as their Grand kids who would stay with them for the weekend. The ultimate away home game. Huge money maker!

its a relatively small school and for the normal population that would actually go to college hockey games there are way better local college teams such as all the boston schools and providence college all within 30 minutes.

For UConn games, upper portions of the XL Center were curtained off, so it wasn't at full capacity, it def was closer to 9k at most.
