It will then allow all NVIDIA settings and options including the "laptop monitor gpu to be enable". You can also switch to workstation mode (GeForce Studio).
I do not have Nvidia Telemitry container in services. I do have Nvidia frameview sdk service that is set to manual trigger. I also have Nvidia display container LS, Nvidia local system container both of which are already set to automatic and running.

U can disable ur igpu but the thing is even in low power/demanding work ur gpu [not the integrated one] will be used nd consume more power and heat but u get more fps not really a con to disable ur igpu but depends if u outside of house or in cafe

Best way for laptop users, specifically MSI users with NVIDIA GPUs they almost always have intel integrated graphics on top of your main gpu so just open intel graphics instead of the NVIDIA control panel and you will be able to set a custom resolution that way. Hope this helps

Something to help is that if your hdmi or dp/cable to connect to your monitor is in your motherboard, connect it to your graphics card instead, if you have a dedicated graphics card. (Note. I am not sure if this works for laptop)

If you have an ASUS laptop and your NVIDIA gpu suddenly stops working (bec your system cannot detect it) and even though you updated and downloaded all kinds of updates available on nvidia website; or even upgraded your BIOS or something like that and still not worked, Check your Armoury Crate first. If its on "Eco Hybrid Mode", then change it to "Standard" Cuz eco mode really shuts down your dedicated GPU to save battery power. If Armoury crate needs an update (yep, ASUS really wants you to update EVERYTHING geez) watch Tech Guru's YT channel about fixing Armoury Crate. He has all the downloadables on the description link.

The solution for me was to open the nvidia control panel, then go to manage display mode and then select NVIDIA GPU only and that's it
