Thank you so much Patry, you’re literally the best Spanish teacher on UA-cam for useful daily vocabulary!! I’m hoping that one day my Spanish will be as good as your English 🥰
Excellent lesson! Such a rich with new phrases and vocabulary! I will definitely need to rewatch the video and study this! Gracias Patry for a great lesson!❤
I love your videos and they are very informative. I have a Spanish vocabulary of about 20 words. I just spent 3 weeks traveling all over Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, El Escorial, Segovia, San Sebastián, Bilbao, Pamplona, Sevilla, Cádiz, Malaga, Granada, Valladolid). Between those 20 words, my google translator and English I had no problem checking into hotels, ordering at restaurants, taxi and train rides, renting cars, and buying stuff. If you use just a few Spanish words (Hola, Buenos, Gracias, muy buena, etc) people were very nice and accommodating. You don’t need to speak fluent Spanish to enjoy a trip to Spain.
@@patryruiz. Yes, Patry, exactly. This is a royal pain to deal with Spanish banks as you may know. Open an account, ask for a credit, mortgage, money transfers, buying a property, refusing unnecessary products, asking for a fee waiver. Thank you again for your excellent material!
Gracias, Patry. Your videos are the best! My wife and I are visiting Barcelona and Madrid in October 2024 and are watching your excellent videos to brush up on our Spanish. While we do speak some Spanish (we're from Texas), it's still a little intimidating to try to use it in Spain. Your videos are especially helpful in communicating with servers in restaurants and bars, hotel staff, museums, etc. We want to speak Spanish exclusively, if possible, and rely on English as a backup as needed.
Thank you so much for this video ma'am :) your diversity in words and asscessing various senarious in hotels is very unique and helpful. Muchas gracias. 😁
This was fantastic; to have everything collected in one video! For me, I pretty much know the words (?) but I get insecure about those little words. A, por, de... Like: Algo _que_ ver [not algo _a / para_ ver], _por_ la zona [not _en_ la zona], cambiar _de_ habitación... Also, 'Quiero hablar con el gerente', veeery useful.. 😄With customer services (on the phone, banks and such), when sth is _impossible_ - until you ask to speak to the manager! Also: ¡Me encanta -mucho- tus videos! 😘
Paty, te encontrei neste mundo da internet como quem acha uma jóia num oceano. Voce é simplesmente a melhor!!!! Vou recomendar a todo mundo. Amei deu jeito! Sua didática, sua simpatia, sua personalidade, seu carisma, muito divertida e profissional. Parabéns.
Gracias patry soy un americano. Eres muy bella e inteligente. Ofreces lecciones privadas…?? Voy a trabajar en hotel como gerente y quiero perfectas mi español.
Hi I love this video and it’s very helpful but I would love if you slow down when speaking the Spanish words to help us better grasp the articulation of them and if they were captioned and we see the spelling it would help tremendously also. Thanks so much for your content ❤🙏🏾
Sometimes you use puede(s) and sometimes podria(s). I think it’s “can you” vs “could you”, but used the same. Is there any difference at all? Is podria more polite?

This is excellent and very useful. I really love that you use more Spanish than English in your explanations, as it helps us learn faster!

Thank you so much! Spaniards are just the nicest! 🥰 glad you enjoyed it!
Very helpful, thank you! If you could do something like this for banking in Spanish, it would be great!!!
I’m very glad it’s helpful! You mean as in going to the bank to open an account and all of that?

there’s a playback speed setting you can set to as slow as you want like 0.5x. This natural pace is better to get used to in real life setting
GOOD JOB

Podría is the conditional “you could/could you” so yes, it’s just more polite 😅👍🏻
Just a point while talking about the check out. They will inform you that you need to pay city tax when staying in Barcelona and Madrid.
Ese fue el mejor vocabulario de hotel que he visto en UA-cam ¿Por qué te acabo de encontrar?
Porque soy relativamente nueva 😅 me alegro mucho que te haya gustado! 🥰👍🏻
Similar to what I study in l’école hôtelière de Lausanne, you did not cover the room’s view 😘 (vista al mar )
