- I went to K River Campground - Scootin' America Resort and met Adam Sandoval. Got to see part of Oklahoma I had never seen. It was all about the ride though, because I got wet at Adam's campground because of the rain and ended up riding all day. The best way to dry your wet clothes!

Hey brother thanks for the visit! Sorry it rained on you. But glad you had the grit to ride out anyhow, till next time .. ps I subbed to you.
Adam Sandoval Rides It was a fun ride. Beautiful down there, I will be spending alot more time in that area. Im too close not to! See ya soon Adam, get that drone out!
No gloves? Is it the humidity or just the grips are that good? Carpal tunnel sucks a d it bothers me w. Stock grips and gloves and especially as seldom as I get a chance to ride
Maybe a little of both I guess. I wear gloves occasionally but never had any issues. Thanks for watching bud.
BackRoad Biker Adventures, I thought it was nice for him to mention you too, I'm a subscriber to your channel too. Nice coverage of Sturgis!
@@Surpluzz
So, you drove down there all by yourself and left because none of your friends were there? Don't be afraid. The world isn't all dangerous like people want to believe. For a biker, you sure do bitch about the weather (sunny day). I mean, I understand why you don't like driving in the rain/storm.
Great video. I like your sense of humor, especially when recording in the tent. There is no doubt you are a true biker, you took the long way home. And the rain did not scare you off. I appreciate your values.
Blessings,
Clint
Clint Hamilton Thank you for such compliments, I have more coming. It takes someone with good values to recognize them. Thanks for watching.
A great video. Real. Honest. And fun to watch. You know how to keep your viewers happy. And keep them coming back for more. Good job ! Please keep the videos coming. 👍🏻
Richard Enstad Well, I think I just got lucky this time but it IS exciting! 300 subs or so because of this 1 video. I will be making more soon. Lots coming! Stay tuned.
Brother, thank you for sharing your ride and for sharing some tidbits of wisdom on experiencing the elusive “Peak Experience”! I really enjoyed your video and the adventure. Like you, I feel blessed that I get get on my 2009 Street Glide and ride the back roads and highways soaking in whatever Mother Nature has in store for me. There is no better way to destress and get your head straight. Live life with no regrets and leave no road unridden. Ride safe my friend! JP
Jacky P I love the genuine comments like this. I try to constantly reflect on those things that make me the happiest. When I go, I dont want any regrets, but most of all, I want to have said "Thank you". Ride on, brother.
went up there from Shawnee 3,4 months ago, folks were from coalgate, came back thru beavers bend down tahina bypass...few weeks later rode to eureka springs getting ready for the long ride to Sturgis for first time, just got back...had those peak moments every ride thought I was going soy boy...thanks for reminding I was living my life to the fullest and thankful I live in the greatest country on the planet.
David Lackey Man, you nailed it! The best is ahead of us brother! What a gift.
I like the way you describe things: moon like a werewolf movie, bugs coming at warp speed, rain episode, etc. Subscribed.
Herb Wag What a welcome comment. Thanks for watching, more to come!
Great video! On the trip going you cut it off just before hitting my home town of Pauls Valley. I've ridden some of those exact roads you traveled over and they are beautiful even if the roads are a bit rough. What I like about riding Oklahoma is the chance to get off the freeway and travel the back roads to experience the real life style. I live in Las Vegas now and dream of returning to my homeland someday soon.
Jim M. I could not agree with you more. I have lived here for over 35 years and there is still so much to see. Oklahoma will always welcome you back. Thanks for watching!
preach on bro i love nothing but me and my bike hitting the road.
New sub here. I've never called it a peek experience, but have had those time while riding when everything just IS. The road, the bike, the air and the smell of nature become one, and nothing else matters. We who ride live life one mile at a time, because the next mile is something different. A lesson I learned about 50 yr's back, when you ride a motorcycle to get there, sometimes you get wet on the way, along with a free bike wash.
evilevilrick Best comment yet. I'm saving that one! I literally love it. Thanks for subscribing.
Thanks, is just how I feel. I love to ride.
Beautiful early morning footage. LOVE the drone view!
I was moved by your sensitivity and self awareness. Such honesty is rare and refreshing.
Be well and ride safe.
(Yup, I subbed)
Ant Squirly Wow, thanks for the compliment and the sub! More to come, stay tuned.
great video, thanks for sharing, I am headed that way in about two weeks after I finish my job training.
Nice, dont forget to sub! Hit me up if you see me down there!
Man. that was a great video ! Adams gonna have to get a drone. Really like those bars ! Lived in Paris and remember the winter ice storms. Where you were at is where you stayed, but the next day, the whole world was shining crystal. Stay in the wind brother. Hello from New Mexico.
Solo 000 I love it when that happens, rare but beautiful. Bars are Kodlin design, Santee made Bonanza 12 inch. Thanks for watching!
Adam has a drone but doesn't use it very often.
I laugh over the riding stories; so cool to share the surroundings, the weather/elements, the unexpected and the pleasant surprise roads and countryside we stumble into. Man I could tell some weather stories from my travels, where one just wills themselves to the finish line. (Torrential heavy rain from Independence Pass, CO to Montrose, raining so hard I couldn’t see my buddy’s headlight behind me, 40 mph top speed, with wind & temperatures in low 40’s, wearing my leather jacket, chaps and a bandana, only to find Montrose was sold out/no vacancies for a rodeo in town. Telluride was the final destination where our reservations were, but a snow storm hit and the road to Telluride was snowed shut! Lol!).
Wish I had video of them; need to get my GoPro bought and quit missing the epic travels to share with others! Lol
For sure! Im sure there are alot of people who would love to hear that story. Thanks for the sneak peek and thanks for the comment. I love the part about "willing" ourselves home. Ive been there. Thanks again.
Lol... well crossing mountain passes, not many places to pull over to take cover, and I always think, pulling over just delays getting thru it. Just as well buck up, ride and get there. Lol
Great video. Love that area
Fellow Okie, or nearby? Thanks for watching!
I hope to live in Snow, OK. From La.
@@dempseyguidry5433 Wow, thats God's country. Sounds like heaven 😁 beautiful down there.
When I get up there I will get you to come visit me. Snow, Ok
Nice video. I appreciate you showing your camera gear setup. Love the drone footage! Looking forward to more.
Andy Whatley Thanks for the compliment, more to come!
Outstanding coverage bro! Love those solo rides; keep riding and filming bro. If ya ride enough you’re gonna get caught in the rain. Makes for great story telling later! Nice work!
De Ba Thanks for the compliments! Youre right about the story telling, too. Stay tuned bud.
Can’t wait. You know how to ride & film! Inspires us all big time!
Attended the World Record attempt but didn't stay at the K. Good to know about internet or cell service. Sounds like a great place to unplug and unwind for a couple of days.
Dude, so awesome. In so many ways. Im glad a biker owns this place. Ride on.
Hey ! Excellent video !! THX for sharing .... I went to K River Campgrd in June on a sunny day from Mena (AR) -Talihema & the Staircase ...and then just stopped to say HI to Adam. I enjoyed watching it from your direction. I just registered for the Bring It Home Even (9/15) maybe see you there .... Ride safe !!!
Paul Bronnenberg Heck yeah! Thanks for watching, hope to see you there!
Talimena will be a peak experience for you too. Nice vid, like your style. Ride smart, and get some rain gear. ;-)
Do I go or not go? Go lol. That was funny. Liking the maps. Sometimes that's half the fun for me is mapping out my ride .. love chucks videos the backroad philosopher I call him.
Chris Delaney Thanks for the positive review! Yeah Chuck is the real deal from what I can tell. I would love to ride with the dude. Stay tuned.
Nice video, i follow adam for a while. Cool to see the campground from a another view. Ride on an greetings from Bavaria (Germany). Thx for sharing.
Bavarikus Nice! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! More to come soon.
Nothing like a 4 lane and 65 mph to dry clothes! Ride Safe Man! Great video!
Bad Driver You got that right! Ride safe brother, thanks for the comment!
It's nice to see you don't mind getting wet ridding your bike we get wet loads in the uk it rains here a lot lol great vid thanks for sharing ride safe bud 🏍👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A Peak experience, This year last Friday I rode home from Sturgis Via I 90 up to the road to Cody wyoming thru Yellowstone There was an Eagle flying right over me along the road in Yellowstone ...Riding the roads in that park is Amazing....
Dean T Maltese Wow. That belongs to you forever. Ride on.
I really enjoyed just listening to you’re engine going down the road, music to my ears! Now a subscriber.
marty jouett Thank you so much! More to come!
Love the drone footage
Oh yes, there will be more. 😁
Awesome video! I also thought it was funny when u were at the fork in the road - "Should I go?" Lol. Great morning shots as well as the drone views. Keep it up... Just subbed.
Christian Gonzales Thanks for the sub and the compliments! More to come.
Great Video, Loved the drone footage.
Beetle Mann Thanks! More to come!
How cool. Adam is a cool guy. His campground is about 30 miles north of our biker stop. Next time swing by.
Heck yeah, will do. Ill be in that area on the 15th. Thanks for watching! Dont forget to sub!
Really digging your videos. I know what you mean about sometimes feeling out of place. I don’t drink at all and none of my buddies ride so I’m always solo and don’t party. Oh yeah...riding in the rain sucks with no windshield!!!
I've owned three Harley's and five Gold Wings. Now the ride is a 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-SE5. Hopefully we'd still be welcome there. I'm a veteran with 20 years Naval service, and hopefully my wife and I can officially meet with Adam, Ashley, and Scooter when we make it down there. Thank you for offering a peaceful stop for veterans.
For Surplizz, where did you start out from? Let us know if you ever make it to Idaho.
Thomas Nessman Definitely, thanks for the comment! Well I live in Norman, thats where my ride started out in this video. If thats what you mean.
Thomas Nessman ps, dont forget to sub, Ill be answering some questions soon. Thanks!
Adam did good on this property buy . Great video.
Jay Taylor Yes he did. It couldnt be nearer to better scenery or riding. Secluded as well, very cool. Ill spend alot more time in that area now. Thanks for the compliment.
Cool footage man I was there a little over a month ago and really enjoyed my stay. Got to help Tom (previous owner) work on a car and even got to help with the shop build. Just Subbed
Randall Mcdaniel Thanks, more to come!
Hey have you ever thought about rain gear, just asking??
Nice vid, bro - sorry about the rain but you made the best of it. Ride on!
Jon Quade It was a good day. I hope a little rain wouldnt stop anyone from such a ride. Thanks for watching bud!
Had to say something else oh my god a what lovely country you have you will not believe how many cars ect we have I was smiling all the way through your vid wish I was there ride safe bud 👍🏻🏍
Mark Dunbar Stay tuned for more and thanks for the compliment! I try not to take it for granted. Its a blessing, I know.
Surpluzz was a pleasure watching you ride nice bike by the way 👍🏻
Nice video enjoyed it immensely. Had the opportunity to meet Adam, Ashley, Giselle along with Chuck at Sturgis. Keep up the good work. Keep the rubber side down and let the miles roll on
Tim Albright Dude, Chuck knows. Right? Would love to chat with the guy. Thanks for watching!

I know right! I was being a whiny little biatch. It was like soup, gross. 🤣
@@Surpluzz Lol, I know. I just bought a breakout about 3 months ago and everytime I come home for time off it's freaking raining! So I finally said screw it, I gonna ride!
A wet day on two wheels is much better than a dry day over 18! Stay safe brother and live free!

Good job! Some just ride on sunny days! Much respect!
Comment appreciated. 🤙
Nice vid! You said in your 1000 sub video that going to Adam's campground probably got you some exposure. That's probably true but your video was great. Really digged the drone footage. I live in the OKC metro area too, nice to see a local youtuber. I ride a Indian Chief Vintage and maybe we will see ya out there.
Robert Manley Nice! Cant wait to see the Indians this year, I would especially like to see the FTR 1200. Thanks for the compliment! Nice to see my fellow Okies.
Nice ride. Thanks for the video. Keep on being free.🇺🇸😎🏍

Black Dragon Biker TV Yeah, I see you Black Dragon. I know you were there. Hey, how bout subbin my channel? Lol thanks for the comment bud!
another new sub here! enjoyed the video and looking forward to viewing more.

Johny Eyckmans Bring it bud. Yeah! Thanks for watching!
Johny Eyckmans Where do you live?
I live in Belgium 🙂
Nice vid, looked a little uncomfortable for awhile. My ride there will be little over 1K miles, but I have a touring bike. Looks like a nice camp ground, better when dry for sure. I am always “Should I turn and stay out longer, and usually that answer is Hell Yeah! Take care and be safe!
Nice bike by the way!!
Hubert Lanham Thanks for the compliments! I rode 465 that day on the Bob. Headed for Fayetteville in Sept too, so excited. You going to Paris on 15th? Be safe bud.
Surpluzz I would be going but have a Blues Fest already planned out, Have a great ride and a safe one!
Camping in the rain. Kind of makes you feel like a Grunt, doesn't it? (Says this Air Force Veteran, Lol!) I'm with ya on leaving before the rowdiness starts. I like my beers, but I'm not a fan of raucous parties, and even less so when I don't know anybody. I love those "zen" moments on the bike. Great ride man. Stay safe.
TJ Rohyans Thanks for watching! Yeah, I just needed to get my knees in the breeze. Thanks for your service!
Thanks. It was an honor to serve.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Seville, just subscribed and awaiting yr new videos.

I've followed "Scootin America." for two years and several other Biker adventure channels. I just added your channel. I'm to old to ride but I still can enjoy the biker culture I love, vicariously. Thanks again
Ain't nothing like riding a scoot!! Nirvana.
mulliedog1 Sometimes its hard to explain, but theres no denying it.
I left Michigan and in 22 hours i was in tampa florida 1.224 mile and did it on my 60th birthday on a 2015 roadglide mt Rushmore
So I was wondering was the loud music at the campground over at 10 pm ? Looked like a good ride. Thanks for the video.
I would have to assume that it was not lol.
Does that area have any limestone rock his roads looked muddy as hell here in Bama we use crushed limestone rock to build drive ways makes a great base for paving later on also can take quick crete bags sprinkle over the rock dampen it down sets up like concrete
Bryan Frederick Thats a good idea! The drives werent "muddy" even though I said they were. It was more like small packed gravel and sand. Anyway Im pretty sure its on his list of things to remedy. Still fine for bikes as long as you aint scared of a little dirt. Thanks for watchin!

Ride on brothers. 😎
Well said, and true too.
One of my most remember able rides was coming from a friend's house for the first time on a small country road at night when it went from star glazing to 1000 gallons a second and I thought I was going to die because I couldn't see with my glasses on because they were wet and couldn't see with my glasses off when I'd shake them off and I couldn't stop because enjoying the ride Haha I miss those days.
im with you brother about the peak experience ride free rich from england

Looks like you had good ride despite the rain
Will Henderson One of the best. Riding alone with almost no plans nearly always ends with a story to tell. Even without the camera. Thanks for watching!
Yeah your right brother it would had been cool traveling with a buddy bro
🙂
Good tip on the gas station in Antlers, OK.
Flanders 405 Just tryin to help out my fellow Okies.
Can I ask why you only run 100% gas? I try to burn 100 but not many places have it so most the time I burn 93
@@michaelrauch495 Alcohol is not good for internal components It burns way hotter, attracts moisture, poorer fuel mileage, less power and if it sits too long it will seperate.
Nice ride ... thanks.

Being from Western New York we only have hopefully 3 more months of riding. You probably get a bit more time so I like to subscribe to you tubers to get me through the winter. Looking forward to future videos.
Never been to OK. before, is there quite a bit of topography like what I saw around the campground? I always expected a bunch of scrub brush.

Oh, I like yard sale handle bars, especially since cables on my stock 12" bars probably ideal length. Shipping probably wouldn't be prohibitive from Oklahoma (I believe that where you said you were from)to N.Central Arkansas. Let me know if come up with a price.
I appreciate the camera info, but what I was looking for is the manufacturer of your phone mount, I need one but, on a bike without a fairing I was hoping to see if you could offer any real world experience on brand. I would hate to just buy one without any experience and my phone blow off the mount at 75-80mph.
