- HELLO friends and family! Thank you for watching our THRIFTING video today! We have so much fun showing you what's in our Minnesota thrift stores and the great prices. I did take home multiple items that I'm thrilled about. We'd enjoy hearing from you on what you liked!
We've always loved thrifting for our vintage MCM furniture, lighting, dishes, and accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find more fun vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. We are very GRATEFUL for your support!
Peggy Lou & Norm, too!

Someone may have already commented but the frog was missing a wood piece which fits through the hole in his body. You use the wood stick to run the wooden bumps on his back and its sounds like he's ribbeting. I have a collection of them. Sometimes I take one to school and use it fo get kids' attention when they are being noisy. Without the wooden piece they aren't good for much. I love the Strawberry Shortcake doll and Annie doll. We had those when we were little. So nostalgic!!
Oh, I agree, Peggy! That wall pocket made in Germany was absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Carolyn! Thanks much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed seeing that wall pocket! I hope it finds a great new home ;-) We wish you a blessed week ahead.
I don't know when I've had a more pleasant afternoon shopping with Peggy and Norm! I'm starting to look for those small white porcelain pieces with flowers. Not many around here (OKC). The ones I find have exorbitant prices!
Another adventure with Peggy and Norm. So glad you bought the blue lamb planter, it was my favourite treasure.
Hi Christine! Thanks much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed seeing that sweet lamb and that I did bring her home. We hope you are doing well and wish you a blessed week ahead.
Hi 👋. I do collect shoes and have that little white one marked "Made in China that you bought. I also have that exact lamb planter in pink! Was given to my mother when she had me. Fun coincidences! Take care, you two.❤
Norm & Peggy: love the shopping trip. Carol from California
Hello Carol in CA! 😊Thanks very much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed thrifting with us. We hope you are doing well and wish you a blessed week ahead.
I don’t know that I have ever heard you describe something as really ugly but the berries did it.😅. You do have great shops in your area that offer things other than those ready for the junk yard. Really liked the painting on glass of the winter scene! The shape was very interesting. The German vase was very beautiful! Another fun shopping adventure!
Hi Diane! Thanks so much for watching this thrifting video and writing your always fun message❣️ Yeah, those raspberries deserved the raspberries! I was wishing I had a sound to insert of someone doing that! 😆 Thanks for letting me know what items you liked. We hope you have a blessed week ahead. 🌼🌸🏵

Peg, did you buy the Orange Platinumite sugar/creamer duo?
I hope so.
Hi Sister Shirley! No, I didn't buy them. It's very pretty, but I have a black milk glass set that I thrifted a couple of years ago, and I have used that for Halloween videos.🖤🧡🖤 Thanks for asking! Have a great day!
Hi Peggy and Norm. Love shopping with you guys 🐸
Hello Gloria! 😊Thanks much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed thrifting with us. We hope you are doing well and wish you a blessed week ahead.

Hello Laurie! 😊Thanks very much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed thrifting with us again! Thank you for your kind acknowledgement that it is definitely a lot of work to put all of our video clips together and do my best to keep it interesting. ;-) We hope you are doing well this summer and wish you a blessed week ahead.
Thank you for the pleasant distraction from a sad day.
Hi Kris! Thanks much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed being distracted. We're so sorry you are sad. So many things going on that are depressing in the news. God is in control. Sending prayers for your comfort and healing if you are having personal sadness or difficulties. We wish you a blessed week ahead.
@@Crazy4Retro Thank you.

Hello Amalia! 😊Thanks very much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed thrifting with us again. I did bring home the little lamb but not a teapot. It was pretty but I sure am out of storage space. We hope you are doing well and wish you a blessed week ahead.

59 was a great year...my birth year😂
Hi Jo!😊Thanks much for watching this video and commenting. 1959 Certainly was a good year, since you were born then. ;-) I was born in 1949. So very long ago!
We hope you are doing well and wish you a great week ahead.
Hi Peggy and Norm. Goodwill is getting a little ridiculous with their prices. That vase wall pocket was pretty though. Hope you two are doing well ❤
Boy you sure have some nice stores thank you for sharing them with us and you both take care
Hello Jillene! 😊Thanks very much for watching this video and letting me know you enjoyed thrifting with us again! We hope you are doing well, too, and wish you a blessed week ahead.
Love your channel but had to watch on MUTE as the screeching of the wire hangers on metal is like fingernails on a chalkboard.😊
Hi Dale, We're sorry that you have that problem. I can hear high-pitched noises very well compared to Norm, but I don't really notice the racks and hangers any worse than all the other noises at thrift stores. You must not be able to shop at the stores. I have watched thrifting videos done by other channels where they use voice-over narration and I thinks it sounds like 'acting' and not very good actually, because they are attempting to make it sound like us viewers are watching them discover items 'live'. That is not something I want to do to my videos. My viewers have expressed that they enjoy hearing my true live reactions, be it joy or otherwise. You have told me about your disappointment in these videos before, so again, we're sorry you have to "MUTE" us. You can still read what we're saying by chosing Closed Captioning. It's pretty accurate. We thank you very much for your support and messages. We hope you are doing well and have a blessed season.
Hi again, Dale. I have a question for you. I'm wondering what equipment you use to watch YT videos on (phone, TV, or computer)? You're probably very aware, but I'd to toss this out there to you. TV's have several choices for sound. If you are watching YT on your TV and you have chosen a setting that creates more treble (like maybe VOICE), then you may very well hear the high pitched metal scraping more. Thanks for understanding my thoughts on your unique problem with our videos.
@@Crazy4Retro There is NO problem at your end at all! It's me that has the problem! It's an ASMR thing for me...squeaky doors and screeching sounds just do me in and I cringe every time! Forks scrapping on teeth...ish! I can't do thrift stores because of the sliding hangers unless I use earbuds. I love your content and always watch you two and your adventures. I live on the coast in Washington state but was born in Alexandria Minnesota. I return to the Villard area to pay my respects to my parents grave site on occasion and hopefully will visit some of your favorite antique shops while I am there. I'd love to "bump" into you!
Hi Dale! Thanks much for more information on the sounds that make you cringe. I'm sure that's very difficult to deal with at times. I've had tinnitus, ringing in my ears, for very many years that drives me a little crazy at night when I hear it the most. I've looked into recent claims that there are cures, but I'm doubtful at the time. I also have extremely good hearing, compared to Norm, who I have to shout at a lot. When we are in public, like a restaurant especially, and they drop dishes and buss the tables, the crashing noises make me jump terribly and upset me. I jump and cringe badly when a child screams out or babies cry loudly near us. Our nephew and niece have 2 small dogs and their loud shrill barks just pierce my brain. I just can't take it. I'm very disturbed by those types of sudden loud, sharp sounds. Norm finds it surprising, but he has poor hearing.
Thanks for letting us know that you are from Alexandria. That's cool. I've wanted to find antique shops up there, but it's quite a drive for us trying to make it a one-day trip. It would be nice to bump into you as well. :-) We hope your summer is blessed.
