I think the marketing departments of Marvel and DC have underestimated the power of social media today. If a book isn't good, word gets out extremely fast. Retailers halt all sales immediately. There is no time or money to buy what doesn't sell or doesn't jive with the populace. This is how we affect change to these companies. Wes you and your team, amongst others, are in turn informing buyers with quality data and information that is producing change within the industry. You're sending a message that, we the people, expect more and aren't going to settle for mediocre products. Great job for real, from the heart...to you, your team, and all the other content creators out there! This is how we shift reality and this is what I like to see.

That was just because he had a movie released. Marvel seems to be under contractual obligation to kill off any white and male character that gets a new movie (and who‘s movie rights aren’t currently owned by Sony).

Cool I like Benjamin Percy. A few things he did in X-Force and Wolverine didn't work for me but overall I still enjoyed both runs. Putting Deadpool Wolverine on my pull list.
I started buying uncanny X-men by Simone just to check it out. I won’t continue since not even 10 issues in and we already have a big crossover. I just want to read one book. I don’t want to have to buy multiple issues of other titles.
So as a first time X-men reader I’ve dropped down to the main 3 titles and X-factor and using the rest of my budget to get the Uncanny X-men omnibuses and I have to say I’m hooked. I’m right in the middle of the “Days of Futures Past” story and man you just don’t see stories that good anymore.

I liked the books Percy was on. At least ghost rider and Wolverine. You could clearly tell where Victor Lavelle started writing the last Wolverine story. Percy at knows how to write a fun comic book.

Doc is right, though. And I'd like to point out that the main X-books at the moment are not very good. Fair to bad - nothing is great. I personally enjoyed Hickman's Wolverine title, but it doesn't even connect to anything, so it's its own thing anyway. I do love Cable, so we'll see, but it's hard to get excited for anything mutant related.

How about a title coming out once a month and artists doing 6 issues before taking a break. Imagine a TV show where the cast and art direction changed every couple of episodes (!) would that show grow an audience?!

Percy has some problems as a writer, but on the other hand he does write a good Deadpool. I've found that a lot of modern writers can't write Deadpool without him being annoying. He's like Harley Quinn. Very difficult to write. So Percy is probably one of the better writers for this book.
I know it wouldn't happen and may not be a good idea, but I'd like to see the Big Two publish no big event (crossovers or otherwise) for a solid year or two. Instead, focus on low-level stories. Still heroics, action, and adventure - not coffee shop, gossip, and identity politics bs. The kinda stuff you could/would get prior to the 90's. Somewhat episodic, but with an emphasis on lining out their roster of characters. Get the villains back to being villains instead of allies. Get heroes acting like heroes again instead of muddling around in the "grey" area of mortality. Have some one-on-one showdowns. Just some good ol' fashioned superhero stories without the stakes-escalation-creep. Kind of like a reintroduction of the characters and their universe without the big fanfare and world-ending events. Not a reboot. Not a reality-altering thing. Just Marvel and DC realigning their perspectives of their respective properties. Of course, that'll require some actual effort, time, money, and quality talent to pull off. So no hopes here.
Well all the X-Men were murderous psychopaths in Krakoa, so would Professor X being that really be a black mark against him for them 😂😅😂🤣 But more seriously at least it's a contained event, and is focused on the main X-Men characters. In some ways I'd rather they just focus on the individual books, developing their stories as events can kind of get in the way. But at least it will be contained. Does make me wonder is this the real re-launch and all those solo ongoing titles not called Wolverine (including fem-Deadpool) and others like NYX etc. are just being set up to fail to get certain writers out of the way without too much drama (in a "well, we tired - shrugs shoulders"). But that's probably giving Breevort too much credit. Cable could be cool, Space Ghost is good and it's good seeing him getting more respect. Deadpool & Wolverine should be a slam dunk coming off the movie, and I hope it will be good. Ben Percy early stuff with Wolverine involving vampires and Dracula was good (and Louise was a great character) only married by the little bits of Krakoa. The rest was not as great (Tom Waltz did better than Percy with Louise and that concept). Hopefully it will be good, it's hard to see how they can f it up, but this is Marvel so they can find a way (also wonder how this is going to work with Deadpool being replaced by his daughter, set in the past?). As with all things Marvel these days, trust but verify.

Tom Brevoort has always been full of crap. He and I used to go at it on Facebook over ten years ago. I don't trust a thing he says. He is one of several reasons why I steer clear of Marvel Comics.
Storm is for sure one of their heavy hitter, but so far her solo runs having been all that great. I heard she was suppose to be getting another solo run where she goes off into space. But I don't know if that's still happening since Jean's space run hasn't been all that great. Dazzler just came out and I'm 100% down for it. The story is good, as is the art work, and I like that its only 4 comics long. I hope this will keep going, and won't take a noise dive. As for the X-Men event, I too like that its only 4 comics, I will check it out but are we sure its Xavier? That's one part I find odd about this event, the other is that their already fighting each other over Xavier? Deadpool and Wolverine have been doing a lot over crossovers, so I'm not real excited, but I will take a look. As for a common villain for them to face, well if its a villain that both have dealt with that hasn't been seen in a long time. Then I think it could be Weapon X and hopefully the return of Shiva. If it is the return of Shiva and they make Shiva a total badass then I will check it out. I will checkout this Cable and Bishop run, even though they already teamed up to stop a mutant threat and now they are doing it again. The whole Techno-Virus has been done to death too. For me I want to see Cable dealing with Stryfe, and Apocalypse. Cable just stop for decades his sole mission to change the future and stop Apocalypses rule. Sure he now knows he can't kill Apocalypse, but that doesn't mean he should suddenly stop trying to save his future from Apocalypse. Now he has all the mutants on Mars that very well could be worshiping him, and I'd think Cable would know how bad that is and go to try and stop it. I'm not saying Cable shouldn't be doing other this. But the last time he dealt with Apocalypse, was when he oddly woke him up after House of M back in 2006. Now they have his younger self thinking Apocalypse is a really good guy, and old Cable in the Heir thing when he should have been trying to stop it with Angel. 🤷♂

Two X teams fighting for Xavier dream is so dumb. The dream is dead now and no way the X-Men can be heroes again while Krakoa stay in main canon. Nothing can make me read another X book again. This relaunch are proving be a failure already.

Tom Brevoort has always been full of crap. He and I used to go at it on Facebook over ten years ago. I don't trust a thing he says. He is one of several reasons why I steer clear of Marvel Comics.
Storm is for sure one of their heavy hitter, but so far her solo runs having been all that great. I heard she was suppose to be getting another solo run where she goes off into space. But I don't know if that's still happening since Jean's space run hasn't been all that great. Dazzler just came out and I'm 100% down for it. The story is good, as is the art work, and I like that its only 4 comics long. I hope this will keep going, and won't take a noise dive. As for the X-Men event, I too like that its only 4 comics, I will check it out but are we sure its Xavier? That's one part I find odd about this event, the other is that their already fighting each other over Xavier? Deadpool and Wolverine have been doing a lot over crossovers, so I'm not real excited, but I will take a look. As for a common villain for them to face, well if its a villain that both have dealt with that hasn't been seen in a long time. Then I think it could be Weapon X and hopefully the return of Shiva. If it is the return of Shiva and they make Shiva a total badass then I will check it out. I will checkout this Cable and Bishop run, even though they already teamed up to stop a mutant threat and now they are doing it again. The whole Techno-Virus has been done to death too. For me I want to see Cable dealing with Stryfe, and Apocalypse. Cable just stop for decades his sole mission to change the future and stop Apocalypses rule. Sure he now knows he can't kill Apocalypse, but that doesn't mean he should suddenly stop trying to save his future from Apocalypse. Now he has all the mutants on Mars that very well could be worshiping him, and I'd think Cable would know how bad that is and go to try and stop it. I'm not saying Cable shouldn't be doing other this. But the last time he dealt with Apocalypse, was when he oddly woke him up after House of M back in 2006. Now they have his younger self thinking Apocalypse is a really good guy, and old Cable in the Heir thing when he should have been trying to stop it with Angel. 🤷♂

Marvel comics will never be as good written like back in 2010 and under. Now marvel comics sucks .the only decent X-Men book is Uncanny x men .
