    This is commonly referred to as the Clapton box I believe position 4.

    4th postion - the CSHAPE from CAGED
    G shape always being the first

    • @mikedr1549
      @mikedr1549 5 років тому

      I believe this is the A Shape - no? This assumes position one (which he mentions) is the traditional E shape starting on the 5th fret- the position most learn first.

    On bar 9 and 10 you we’re hitting a B note 2nd string 12th fret and slightly bending the note.
    I’m curious as to how/why the B note work on the 5 and 1 chords?
    Ps. I’m definitely signing onto your courses online. You’re a great teacher. And you got style and feel 😊👍

      Thanks! I'm not hitting the 12th fret there. I'm hitting the 13th fret which is a note contained in the A minor pentatonic scale.

      Learning Guitar Now
      Oh sweet! That perplexed me a bit and started playing it when jamming.
      Kind of sounds pretty good depending on the approach.
      I love your lessons. I’m off for three weeks and will be diving right into your lessons.
      And btw. I’ve got a custom strat project going modelled after your Sherwood green Strat. What a lovely guitar

      That sounds great! The Sherwood Strat is what I use all the time now. Just something about that one.

      Learning Guitar Now it sounds and looks great. Probably a great neck as well. Mine will be short scale as I just prefer Gibson necks. About to delve into your lessons. Thanks again 👍✊✌️

    The fourth position is down the other side of the neck, why you Americans got to misuse/ change the language all the time?

      You do know where the blues comes from right? Forth Pos has always meant Root on the index finger A string. What do you guys call it?

    Neck Pickup:Seymour Duncan '59 Humbucker
    Bridge Pickup:Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker
    Are these pickups good for blues and other genres? Someone Help me ??

    • @andymccormick7542
      @andymccormick7542 5 років тому +1

      Yup, they are. Generally speaking you’ll get a bluesier sound from pickups that are on the lower output side.

      @@andymccormick7542 is PRS SE 245 good, or an ltd ec1000, or anything in the same budget( everything is +100 or +200 dollars more due to taxes in my country) .

    • @andymccormick7542
      @andymccormick7542 5 років тому +1

      anish 99 definitely go the PRS SE route. Some of the best guitars ever made at that price point
