If I was a CW writer I'd totally steal THIS version of Darkseid to use as the one our CW Justice League will eventually face
You're assuming that the WB would ever allow them access to the character. I have severe doubts about that.
If you'd had told me back in October 2001 when Smallville went on the air that we'd get a fully functional Crisis on Infinite Earths I'd have been equally skeptical. 19 years has given us a host of interesting tools that make it easier and more cost effective to make more fantastic CGI
(I'm one of the ten people who loved the Superman vs. Superman fight in hour two )
We have a ton of top tier actors who are not only good at their craft but are enthusiastic about the projects
I think it's not if we'll see a Darkseid War but how they'll set it up because I think everyone will be Crossover-ed out when this is over so it'll take time to build our anticipation for a massive event like this across all the shows
@@scottsmartky They're using Superman now, and a full-fledged Batman will be coming soon. With the demise of the DCEU, nothing will be off-limits. Darkseid and the Apokolips/New Gods mythos is rife for exploration.
@@TimThomason I think that Superman show is going to disappoint a hell of a lot of people as it's going to focus more on the family and less Superman fighting bad guys every week. And they might be, might be loosening the hold on characters, but the very last 2 that will be freed up will be Darkseid and Batman (obviously WW and Aquaman have active movies so they're out which is also why Batman will never show up on Batwoman until the Season 7 finale if at all).
Tim Thomason The New Gods are gonna be a movie though. So that may complicate things

I literally listen to these for sleep, his voice is hella friendly and my mind dozes off in these stories.

Kind of sad to see a beaten Darkseid. A being that can see through the Multiverse. A being that in some context. He is the only Darkseid.
If I am right. As he exists outside the Multiverse. As the Multiverse is formed around and is centered on Earth. Which means in DC (and Marvel), Earth is the center of the Universe(s).
Darkseid is a New God. He exists from a different Universe that is just outside of the typical DC Universe. Though is apart of it because it is s Universe needing to be conquered.
Also, getting to Darkseid is not easy. As you need either a Boomtube or be a really really really pissed off Superman (Injustice).

Yes. As of the New 52, all true Gods were rewritten to be multiversal singularities. Smallville technically existed in its own multiversal canon (its complicated), but followed the same rules - which has now applies to the CW's Arrowverse since Smallville has been rolled over into that. This standard was applied across most DC comics and is still enforced even the end of the New 52 era, Convergence storyline, Rebirth era, and whatever we're calling the current era (includes stories about: Dark Knights Metal, JL Dark Magic War, Doomsday Clock, and Doom/Perpetua War).
Think about it this way, Darkseid isn't an alien. He, like all New God's, is quite literally a God (Higher Dimensional being) so it makes sense that he can interact with all lesser realities at once. The same applies to the Olympians, Egyptian god's, Norse god's, Kryptonian Gods, Angels, and of course the singular big G God the Presence/The Source. What we normally see/the characters normally interact with is just an avatar body that projects he projects his essence into.
lucariomew358/2 see I’ve always thought of Darkseid as someone like who has a presence like Ego. Where Ego is a Celestial but not on par with The One Above All.
@@tyx8898 Oh Ego isn't actually a celestial that's just an MCU thing. He barely even qualifies as a cosmic entity.
Lol ok then the way I seen it is that he’s on par with Grandmaster and Collector not The One Above All or Spectre or Living Tribunal. Where The One Above All creates the multiverse, and Spectre and Living Tribunal watch over the Multiverse, Darkseid was just an entity within each world. Personally I’ve never seen Darkseid as an Omnipotent being.
