I just saw this video randomly still ,I never ever build something that crazy and barely abusing glitch. One time went overboard to all settlement holy crap the AI giving me heart attack,they standing still not moving to assign spot and my script game F everything delay 1 min. I found out last month when I start play Fallout 4 again seem every bug that happen and quest that wont continue were cause by script. Same goes to other console like xbox that bug out and unable to continue. It like the game script is mess some point,only way to avoid this by wait patiently before engaging conversation for 20 sec. I hope someone fix the script trigger .
The best defense method against raider attacks. You simply build a structure so big and so dense that any enemy approaching it will be blinded by low FPS, and then anybody inside the structure can can snipe from them from the windows with their mighty 60 fps.

If anything, the lag/low FPS is a testament to the amount of hardwork you poured into making this beast of a settlement building. I can't even bother myself to make a two-story structure without getting annoyed! It's apparent that a lot of thought and attention to detail went into making this building.
Not only that , the lights that we put on the walls , for some reason , sometimes they don't illuminate at all , seems to be a bug , never cared that much.
Kinda scary , as a small creator who never got this much attention , I don't even know how to react , in the other hand , now I can understand why big creators rarely answer comments in their vids .
He uses an unlimited resource mod for PS4. It comes in a piece of paper. You set it down on the floor and store it in your workshop and you have like 36,000 of each resource
Concrete is honestly one of the best building materials because how solid and structured it looks. I love how the whole settlement is like a giant mall, where everything is in one building. Haven't thought of that concept this whole time, but now I'm encouraged to try.
Before you do that , check out my Slog build with Vault structures and 40 settlers, because this build may looks cool , but settlers got stuck everywhere , that doesn't happen in the slog , and actually was build as a mall in mind :)

Meanwhile I’m over here on PC playing with mods that help me with building since I lack the creativity to make something this beautiful, I am insanely impressed with this.
I built a structure that was about half that size. Had electricity, stores, a gaming hall, bedrooms, and even bathrooms. 1/3 of the settlers got stuck in the entrance while the rest just stood around out front.
I recommend try to build with only Vault structures , the narrow stairs are usually the reason they get stuck , but the layout of your settlement also can contribute to that .
Probably one of the best builds i have ever seen, must've taken u days or weeks to finish this! Amazing work, only people who have tried building stuff in fallout know the headache a build like this leaves behind

I love multi-story builds but I will never be not disappointed by the fact that any settlers in the settlement will more than likely not utilize every floor. And if they do, you can bet your ass that they are going to be awkwardly positioned on the roof, in a place they shouldn't have been logically been able to get to.
Lol never fails does it. I ended up putting some chairs and nuka cola fountains up where my settlers kept glitching to. And just made a latter so they could actually get down lmao
I built a huge mall for 40 settlers in The Slog , they interact with the facility very well . After I started to use only Vault structures in my builds , I noticed a significant improvement in their behavior , narrow stairs are nightmares for them , trust me .

I never built anything that was more than about 3 stories high and never with the thought and detail that you put into your build - also I know how frustrating it can be to get part a to click to part b the way you wanted it. Abernathy Farm has the tallest build height of any settlement. I built a tower of just stairs and a couple of floor pieces at each level just to find out how high. I think you can build 12 or 14 floors high. So in one of my build, I used the Vault atrium pieces to build a tall tower with my player home on top of it. You can see a lot of the Commonwealth from up there.
This is awesome, it's kinda what I'd imagine the very civilised central areas of the NCR might be like at their peak since it's almost pre-war quality but you can see that it's still grimy and dirty even though it's reasonably clean when it comes to trash, so it's definitely been built after the war. Maybe it would be the HQ of some big post-war company in New Reno or something, like maybe the people who make weapons like the service rifle or something

I know right. Build combat robots but not a Roomba. It's like, sure I can build some power armor, tune up a laser rifle and set down a fusion reactor but I can't nail two boards straight to make a wall or a roof without it full of holes. ..and why doesn't someone mow the weeds down. This is why we can't have nice things. All my settlers live in barns because of solid walls and decent roofs. lol
I used to do settlement builds like this at my first playthrough, then next ones I thought it was a hassle to build new ones so I just stick to simple builds. But this is actually cool

My favourite spot to build a settlement in F4 was that one located under the Interstate bridge. Just perfectly located in order to build elevators and get the Settlers up above, building tents on those 2 road levels.

Really nice building, mate. I might have to steal a few of your design ideas. I'm currently doing a playthrough, aligned with the minutemen, with the idea of 'reforming the wasteland' by turning _all_ of the settlements into nice towns. It's still very much a work in progress, but I have Starlight Drive-in and Sanctuary built as huge towns, Tenpines Bluff as munitions/explosives manufacturing plant, the Castle and Spectacle Island as military bases, with the later having a huge armor manufacturing plant on it, and Abernathy farm and Warwick Homestead as farms for food... it's a lot of work.

У меня терпения хватило на 2 этажа максимум . Дом великолепный , на уровне "Тэнпенни - Тауэр" . Думаю ты потратил недели две на него . А еще даже в двух этажах жители постоянно тупили и застревали , приходилось включать сон на час , чтобы жители в своих лавках или постелях оказались .

I'm currently doing a playthrough, aligned with the minutemen, with the idea of 'reforming the wasteland' by turning _all_ of the settlements into nice towns. It's still very much a work in progress, but I have Starlight Drive-in and Sanctuary built as huge towns, Tenpines Bluff as munitions/explosives manufacturing plant, the Castle and Spectacle Island as military bases, with the later having a huge armor manufacturing plant on it, and Abernathy farm and Warwick Homestead as farms for food... it's a lot of work.

Go slow , and have fun , if you find yourself without anything else to do , it'll be over , because this game is not strong on end game content so(edit:unless you're a crazy builder who forgets about the kid to build and build and..lol) , enjoy your journey :)
