I love how the Royal Navy march, it makes you think there are more of them, and how smart they all look

When they're in spearhead formation, does anyone know what piece of music they're performing to?

deidaraguy Just typed "The Gael" in UA-cam and it came up with the same tune, so it would seem to be right. Thanks :-)

The L85 is such a $hit rifle to drill with (this goes for the C7 as well). Assault rifles look, sound, and feel like plastic toys. I wish the Royal Navy would use the Lee-Enfield for a ceremonial rifle, instead. Here in Canada, we usually drill with the C7, but when we want to do the really fancy stuff that the Americans do with their Garands and Springfields, we use polished Lee-Enfields with white slings. We fling them into the air and catch them by the handguard, we fire blank cartridges (not indoors), etc. We sort of combine the British and American styles. With the Lee-Enfield, you are able to get fancy because the weapon is well-balanced. Bullpups are not.
Don't get me wrong; this demonstration was awesome, BUT!!! If anyone in power reads this, PLEASE...
      USE. THE. DAMN. LEE-ENFIELD!!!

@@jimmie8987 Whatever. It just ain't the same without the good old Lee-Enfield.

Many uniforms look sloppy, belts loose, lanyard un looped.
