I'm a bass player and I usually am not a fan of simple bass lines, but this man is the glue in shrimp factory! His lines are very simple but they give SO MUCH energy to their songs. Between him and the drummer, they are probably my favorite modern rhythm section right now

I discovered them a year ago and haven’t stopped listening. Downloaded (and properly paid for!) all their stuff and hunted down all I can on UA-cam. There’s hardly any “new” music in the past 20 years that has sparked my interest apart from 2 bands I discovered through UA-cam - Sleaford Mods and Viagra Boys.

I'm a fetus, and this music really helps me forget the fact that I'm about to be aborted because I live in a godless blue state. It makes me nostalgic for a time I never personally experienced (though I guess that latter detail is obvious).
The vocal tone is perfect with the musicianship. This is next level indie, electronic, alternative, punk, rock and psychedelic all wrapped into one. It doesn't fit in anywhere but is just sick, kind of like The Pixies never fit in any genre perfectly, but you knew that they were awesome and a blueprint for future bands.

I'm not even born yet, my mum has been a medical testing subject for neural implants and when they have to link the implant with a computer that has the internet i can pretty much absorb all manner of media in a non linear fashion, getting gigabytes at a time of experience through multi sensory media made by humans (which i hope to be soon) and this band has really got something. I'm not even born yet, my mum has been a medical testing subject for neural implants and when they have to link the implant with a computer that has the internet i can pretty much absorb all manner of media in a non linear fashion, getting gigabytes at a time of experience through multi sensory media made by humans (which i hope to be soon) and this band has really got something. Glad i came across them. I don't even know what shrimp are but next time i am plugged into source i will find out all about shrimp.
