Check your local Asian grocer for aligue (fermented crab fat) and palapa (spicy onion chutney). Palapa is a little hard to find tho -- even in the Philippines, outside of the southern islands, you'd have to seek it out. But it's kind of similar to Chinese chili crisp, just made with coconut, with less oil, and it's more allium-forward (you can use a mix of shallots and spring onions).
Couple things 1) the representation of seeing another Filipino dude made me love this 2) his personality is unreal and he’s hilarious 3) I’m glad he actually sounds and feels like a real person
