I have this same issue with my gelding and he is also sensitive to poll pressure and sits back at times. Been doing poll drills, backing with obstacles but now we have to try the trailer breaking it down like this. He thrashed in the trailer with me once while tied so now my confidence is low trying to help him gain confidence and myself. Hoping he can think about what we are doing and try to not be so nervous while in the trailer. I’m going to try some of this today.
