You have really great content in your videos gives us more info on what to do with our own wonderful animals, but seems to me it's a lot of common sense and a dash of patience and listen to Amry & Cisco cause they definitely know what they are talkin about. Thank you for letting us be part of your world!
Stella did very well for you, I love the way you train Amry with such gentleness. You make them work hard, but your always use gentle hands I can't believe how BIG all the colts are getting 😯. And they're all shedding out so handsomely 😉 kinda looks like a blue roan, two red roans, and possibly a bay or blue roan (Kenney) I guess a blue also, IDK 🤔 what do you think Amry? Love the lessons, trailer loading, and patience. Well done 👍 as always!! Love and Blessings always 🙌 Jennifer
Thank you so so much 🥰 The boys are getting SO big!! Roans can be tricky because their coats look one shade but that might change and they might have other characteristics that make them technically a different registered color. Wasabi is a red roan and Rooster is a blue roan. Now even though Sully and Kenney have different coats they are both technically bay roans. Sully looks more bay roan. Kenney's coat looks blue but around his nose is brown and that makes him a bay roan. True Blue Roans have NO brown ☺️❤️ Thanks for coming along Jennifer!
@@cnahorses Thank you so much Amry for the detailed answer 😃. I think I now have a better understanding regarding roans. I do have a question though. Is there a homozygous gene in Roans, like there is in paints? Your doing amazing, and your still my favorite trainer by far! Oops, that's to include Cisco as well 😉 Love and Blessings always ❤️🙌 Jennifer
You're becoming a camera pro too? I'm loving it! It's nice to see your settings in more detail, keep it up. 😃 Stella's in good hands and from my extremely novice perspective, just needs a little more time...until it become boring for her, all in a day's work. Thank you for taking the time and sharing this great info! ❤
Something I learned on the fly when I had to load a weanling filly who had never been trailered, but had to go to the vet, was to make her uncomfortable outside of the trailer and when she was looking in the trailer to ease off of her and let her more or less explore and she just walked right in. I know this is a different situation, but it is kind of a similar method.
I agree big time! That's why I think it is important to make them tired before so they appreciate patience time.... Stella is 11 years old now and has learned LOTS of tricks... it will take some time
Great job Amery! I remember my dad teaching our horses to be comfortable in a trailer. He'd back the trailer to the gate and feed them inside. I know that was how they did it a hundred years ago and it worked... But that was with only one colt at a time. Things have changed I'm sure with multiple colts. Thanks for sharing.
THIS 🙌🙌🙌 yes I agree 100% Stella's owner will be coming out to watch me work her and then practice for herself. In the horse world RESPECT is NOT transferable from person to person.
I haven't been watching your channel but a month or two, but I'm really enjoying it! The first one I saw was the senior pack trip, because I was exploring that subject, as it pertains to hunting in the mountains.
Loved your trick on asking Stella to back off 6”!! I am going to try that with my boy! He jumps into the trailer. Can’t ever get him to step one foot in at a time.
Hi again AMRY Right back on the job you are. Good to see you since the sale. Try to keep up with the shorts but I miss our commenting lol. Has that mare been doing the trailer thing her whole life? She's an older mare and that would have been a whole lot of stress for her owner and her too! You're doing a great job with all the right steps. Always appreciate your persistence and getting the correct results. I smile when you're quick to put on your sunglasses. You never forget anymore! Ya know they really help protect your eyes from that crazy wind too! Double duty lol lol. All the colts are looking great. To think it's time to bump them out to pasture already. Oh to be real horses. Will you be working with Penny again soon? That will be an especially happy thing to watch... Keep on keeping on and will catcha again soon.
Hi CC!! Thank you for always coming along and watching when you can ☺️ I appreciate it!! Stella's current owner has had for only a few months and has been terrible in the trailer for her.... I don't know the whole back story but the way Stella acts I would assume she has been doing this for a long time!! It is going to take a long time to fix too! She has to learn to relax. I am so excited to turn the colts out!! They are ready! And as soon as they go out Penny comes in 🙌 A summer full of Penny adventures!! YAY ☺️
That camera works well, however, you always make good videos. All the young horses are doing well. It seems they are all a roan color. Are they all roans? Rooster is turning into a blue roan it seems. They are all pretty. And they are all pretty quiet now. I imagine they weren't when you first started tying them up. I did see some of the previous videos regarding that. Thank you for your time in videoing all of your adventures. Will see you next time, take care and the best to you and yours!
Hi Mary!! Thank you so much ☺️ All the boys are really roaning out and looking great. Part of the reason I wanted Rooster so bad was because he will be a blue roan. I have always wanted a blue roan!! ☺️
We will have Penny back from the pasture in about 2 weeks. Then she’ll be in training all summer. I’m can’t wait to go on with her. And yes barrels in the future!
We don't know the real WHY behind Stella's trailer anxiety. It is obvious she hates it. She used to race on the track.. But we have to work through this and show her NO ONE is hurting her and the trailer is not scary.
Penny, Penny, Penny!! 😂
Gentle hands and tender heart..you are amazing!! The colts are very handsome boys!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you Judith ❤️
I have watched hundreds of horse training and I can't find one fault with your methods. And I can always find fault, so great job you are awesome
THANK YOU!!!! ☺️

I thought about this and if I recall correctly, she was full sister to Meganette, AQHA.
I dang sure didn't want her hurt!😂
Patience time. Sometimes it's great and sometimes it leads to holes dug by the horse, broken halters, or cribbing.
I swear I did not watch the end of the Stella segment before posting this. I was watching the part with the little roanwho was digging a hole.😂
🤣😳 you just knew!! I agree!

Thank you!! That is still smart way of thinking! I love it, work smarter not harder 🙌
Remember, part of training a client's horse is training the owner, too. They must continue what you started after the horse leaves your place.
THIS 🙌🙌🙌 yes I agree 100%
Stella's owner will be coming out to watch me work her and then practice for herself. In the horse world RESPECT is NOT transferable from person to person.
Enjoyed for sure! TY Amry :)

Thank you!! It is so simple and easy! And works magic, it really builds their confidence to trust you to back off anything 🥰
