Went to one of these and every car alarm in the parking lot went off. Thunderous sound. Nice
Absolutely brilliant. As the man said hear that and you are screwed. Love it
the way it feels being near them is incredible. if u havent heard a group do this live... gotta add it to your bucket list. get as close as possible. feel it through your whole body. so awesome
Take a look at " The Longest " day" and Lord Lovat's
group at the beachhead. He took a piper with him.
i hope canada is proud of its heritage because believe it or not we all remember your heros who gave their lives fighting in a war that wasn't yours , much respect from a scot .
I sure as hell am !
Louis Clark - me also
Hearing this brings tears to my eyes for the love of a land I've only been to in my dreams..:-(
Alma Kelly...........you have tears in your eyes as you have scottish ancestry somewhere deep in your soul and the pipes reawaken your past
Approximately 15 years ago was in Edinburgh for the Tattoo. Did not know until we arrived that the World Pipefest was there As well! Most amazing week of my life. Nearly went broke buying drinks but it was worth it!
Dont visit. your dreams will be spoiled, we're fkd thanks to lefty fkn twattery
@@tadgerdavidson5377 Away and sing the Sash Mia Farrow wore with your three lions pals.
I know that feeling well.
I close my eyes and imagine 1400 pipers marching in front of 50,000 Scotsmen. Claymores flashing in the sun, preparing to kick so serious English ASS! :-D
yes Joe then imagine the English kicking the crap out of the Scotts and their French backstabbing allies, that would be more realistic.
@@patrickkelly7085 Only their fellow Scots who kicked any Scots ass.
Patrick Kelly........and then you waken up from the dream youve been having......yes you imagined it all
@@geoffdundee There will always be an England ..............as long as Scotland's here
Well during medieval times there was only about 250,000 people living in Scotland. So an army of 50,000 is just a pipe dream.
Imagine a war in a giant field and you see these row of bagpipe coming far far away
It was very early morning in Europe, and the fog had not yet cleared with the sounds of the pipes and drums began to echo off of the hills. And through the mists came The Ladies From Hell. And the hair on the back of your neck rose up.
And I ran the other way, not wanting to tango with death that day.
i love this. it gives goosebumps. War music make us remember the war heros.
I could march a thousand miles to the sound of the pipes & drums.
I'd rather use a Huey.
I'll never hear this without thinking of my father, Robert B. Cabral, USAF ret, 1952-2016.
Rest in peace.
Scotland Forever! Land of my ancestors! 🇺🇸
God bless Scotland, and William Wallace, all the way from the USA!!!!!!!!!!:)
As a person of Irish and Scottish descent, this may be the MOST AWESOME Musical performance I have ever seen. Now, as a former marching musician and sound guy I am in AWE that they stayed in time with each other! That many musicians at once is AHBSOLOOTELAY FAHNTAHSTIC!!! Scotland go brah!
Its also truly a sight to behold, before the parade, folks with tuners making sure that every chanter and drone is exactly on frequency so it sounds like one massive, unified instrument.
Absolutely stunning in such numbers. My Scots/Irish granny would love this.
I have goosebumbs only when i read 1400 pipers and drummers!!! The sound is amazing and you´re right, when you hear in this the highlands, you better move your ass out in the speed of light
The pride remains and the music's
in the heart!
Dont make mistake whit this nation. They land is Scotland. Love and respect from Croatia❤❤
Surrounded by fog, your comrades on the ground dead or badly injured, your only source of light being the moonlight then you suddenly hear Scotland the brave in the distance and rapidly approaching
*F E A R*
Ay Lads ... Wallace is coming
"Scots Wa-HAY"?
Wallace only won one battle - Stirling.
My last name is Wallace, my great great great grandfather moved here from Scottland during the mid 1800's and eventually moved to Alabama from Yew York
He's dead tho he has been for about 400 years and don't woosh me
@scott wallace wha WHAT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE
I'm not even Scottish and this gave me chills
What a trimendous sight, as 1,400 pipers & drummers play the well known tune -- Scotland the brave.
Maxville, Ontario, 2016. I'm in the Hamilton police band, about 8 rows in from the left, red kilts, dark blue shirts.
Maxville is one of the great Canadian events to witness this spectacle. Seeing and hearing these wonderful bands come over the hill playing this triumphant tune brought shivers down my spine being there. Not too br missed.
All the very best to you. I have lived in Hamilton, Scotland all my life. And I am nearly 80. Seen a lot of changes, but I would not swap it for the world. My dad and grandad were pipers with the Blackwatch. Together, they went to war, and God willing, both came home again. As a child, and growing up, I listened to their stories, most when they had a dram or two.
AMAZING !!! I'm really very pleased watching this, well done! Regards from Brazil !
The last sound anyone who invades Scotland would hear.
As a Canadian with Scottish blood, I like this a lot.
Scotland forever, greetings from austria
