Great video! I agree, I just got my Pepperball TRP and it is kick ass! I love my Salt S2 and HDR68, but the TRP is in another league. It makes everything else look like a toy!
Great power the only thing with Co2 is FPS diminishes when trying to fire faster. HPA works better when it comes to Fire Rate so a Carbine kit with HPA adapter would be a good option. Also there are now larger capacity Co2 Cartridges 16 to 20g Co2 if you want to get a good average of power and FPS throughout the whole magazine.
I'm still hoping that someone comes out with a carbine kit that allows for HPA in the TCP. I would love one those magazines if I could buy one already put together.
I don’t think these are available in U.K.? I got the HDR 50 and some parts to tune it. And a mould to make rounds up. The thing I like about the revolver over the pistol is that it can fire slugs as well as balls. Anyways it’s as good as you can get in the U.K. we can’t even get the pepper balls they make for hdr or hdp As for getting extra boost with your extended barrel,it’s true. Rune rebel has videos of a extension barrel on a hdr and it adds some good J to his shots
If you ever decide to go with a compensator, Grimburg makes a nice one. And if you ever decide to go Grimburg Jul rounds, matched with the Grimburg 5 barrel is very nice set up and doesn't jam as much ad the HP68
Not 100% sure about the 6+1, but I think it is possible. There are slight differences between the FSC/TCP like the barrel and size of the breach. If you are looking to do custom mods I would say the FSC has more options available.
Hey man. Do you know anyone who can repair TCP pepperball gun? CO2 air escapes everytime I load and twist to open the CO2? Ever had this problem and is it worth trying to repair or dead in the water? Thanks
Honestly don't know. When I first got it back from Grimburg they did install the Milsig o-ring, but they did not tune the marker itself. I just turned it up little by little until I got the results I was happy with.
Hey bro, i have exactly the same setup as you do on my FSC : m50 + Lapco 686 + T8.1 mags + slip covers + HP68s (+ milsig o rings mandatory here). Works pretty well. Question : did you weigh the HP68 rounds to verify it's actually 7.8 grams ? Mine weigh all between 6.7g and 6.9g...
Thanks, FSC and PepperballTCP seem to be the rxacy same pistol? differnt brands. Also the Tippmann/Mission TPX/Protx TCR are the Only Launchers that can be Tuned to Max Velocity...possibly 350FPS once modded proficiently with milsig orings etc. Great Launcher...enjoy. In South Africa there is no Branch of FSC or Pepperball....only low powered Byrna...ho hum...
First Strike and PepperBall are both under the same parent company, main difference is that PepperBall was only marketed to LE until a few years back; and the FSC has more customization options. Same thing with Tippmann and Mission.
What do you think about the steel rounds with the point on the top for self defense.. And also what do you think about the clear empty rounds filled with bb’s for self defense
If you're referring to the z ram rounds i think that they could be good, but definitely start to approach the lethal side when you're talking 40J+ at close range. I've seen some video in the LL community where people have been having issues so I'm going to stick with Grimburg and Riot Balls for now. As for the BBs, I don't think they would be effective as they are there is too much space in between them, even crammed in a clear round. It just wouldn't produce the type of force you want and would get from a solid round
Just got off the phone with pbssports they said muzzle break and lacop barrel are a waste on money and isn’t needed. They said it’s just to look cool with I would agree with might get later
@@notsolethalweapons6210 So I experimented with the Lapco barrel and I'm going to toss it. The detents aren't strong enough for heavy rounds (causes an extra round to roll out of the barrel)
No it's about 112 decibels in my testing. A typical gun will start at 140 decibels and go up from there. Keep in mind that every 3 decibels increase represents a 2-fold increase in sound. So that's a big difference. But anything in that 100-120 range can hurt your ears over many shots. I started wearing hearing protection with my TCP just to be safe.
it's about as loud as a nail gun. sounds like a carpenter working, but there are sound amplifiers that will make it louder but still not as loud as a gun.
If u want delete the problems on the hp68s u have to put a stronger sear spring inside the regulator and change the stock bolt spring with the vks bolt spring. In past in my fsc on high Power what means 30j+ in one mag hp68s got 2 Jams ...it was pain in the ass cuz relayablity is a must in self defense Situation...literally the Problem is the sear cant catch your bolt correctly on that powerlevel and i recommend use 3d printed barreldetends in your lapco5 " Since i was add the 2 springs with more tension (vks sear spring) (vks bolt spring) and switch to a printed detend solution i never got any problems anymore with the hp68s. i do highly recommend to do this man or switch to julv2 rounds.. u will loose a few fps in your rifeld lapco barrel with them but u add relayablity. The best Thing it even not cost 15 Dollar to fix it. 😉 And in my personal opinion 12g for 6 shots is okeish but 8 shot mags better Stick with a 16g co2 magazin or even a 20g one at high Power settings. 12 g co2 per 6 shots it is like ~ 2g of co2 eatch shot at high power . If u use 16 g co2 u left 4 g for the 2 shots more. Take care and good Times ✌️
Only a Milsig o-ring was swapped for the stock one, but that is needed if you want higher FPS with heavier rounds. If you try high FPS with the stock o-ring it will definitely bust quick.
CORRECTION: The stock barrel of the TCP is rifled.
I seen on other reviews that the spring keeps tension on the balls and makes them donut-shaped causing a jam
@@icebergnews886 I’ve only experienced the jams with HP68s, but that would make sense.
I agree; the Pepperballs do have amazing sights! I was hitting targets with ease on my first-time use.
Solid video! Thanks for the review!

With the sound that the pistol makes, you can tell it has some power to it.
It's pretty loud too.
@@notsolethalweapons6210 so true
That is an awesome pistol!

When 8t clicks. Thats a jam. When it fires but no round shoots. Its a feeding issue and you mag didnt load a round into the barrel
Great thing! Now all you need are the Z.68 projectiles from Z-RAM!

For self defense a cartridge set is more ideal because it will not loose power like the HPA tanks will.
Once I need to turn a pistol into a carbine it no longer is serving its purpose for me. At that point I'm buying air rifles or powder burners.
@@superstallion97 Lose power? These things aren't regulated?
Otherwise, hpa tanks hold air for a long time.

Agreed plus the compensator, adds more length to the barrel which will give you more fps
I have the Grimburg 9 in barrel for my TCR that hits pretty hard too with the V2 JUL rounds. Hits even harder in the Grimburg TPR
Consider acquiring and reviewing the Pepperball TRP with the 10 round PPC magazine.
What do you guys think about devastator rounds
Can I put the grimburg mated.barrel
In the TCP
Grimburg sells barrels that fit the TCP/FSC and VKS, so as long as it’s one of those then yes.
Are the FSC pistol capable of carrying 6 + 1 in the breach ? Also the pepperball pistol? Are these two pistol make the same?
Not 100% sure about the 6+1, but I think it is possible. There are slight differences between the FSC/TCP like the barrel and size of the breach. If you are looking to do custom mods I would say the FSC has more options available.

How many turns back from max is the velocity screw set on your tcp?
Honestly don't know. When I first got it back from Grimburg they did install the Milsig o-ring, but they did not tune the marker itself. I just turned it up little by little until I got the results I was happy with.
