Thrones of decay was an insanely good dlc even compared to the height of 2. It single-handedly saved Nurgle and Dwarfs from being boring garbage factions to endlessly fun to play, AND touched up the Empire; which was already the most popular faction. I know I’m including free reworks in my evaluation but I’m just praising how well done it was. It didn’t feel like we got 4 new characters, it felt like we got 9 with the improvements to Karl, Gelt, Thorgrim, Ungrim, and Ku’gath. I BEG for this to not be a one time fluke and to see this sort of revamp for our next dlc
Prophet and the Warlock really is in a league of its own with how cracked both Ikit and Tehenhuain are. The Forbidden Workshop is nuts and shooting lasers from space with a Stegadon is always fun no matter how many times I see it happen.
You did Nakai dirty. He is after a bit of a revork and in cathey fun and playable. I would recommend giving him another shot. Not to blame you, there are many dlc fractions, but I had the feeling you were blaming Nakai just because he has always been blamed.
Ehh I played him recently, he’s still pretty jank. His armies can get very strong but it’s one of the slowest moving campaigns ever, I’d rather play a different Lizardmen LL than deal with Nakai’s clunky horde stuff.
No, Nakai is still bad. CA has said that they would like to rework him in the future, but at this point it's unlikely that he'll ever be a well-designed faction. Playable, sure. Fun is subjective so I won't debate whether he's enjoyable, but Lizardmen as a whole need a full rework and Nakai needs one specifically.
Literally one of the 3 campaigns Ive enjoyed most so far. I played it until about half the map was my vassals' and had made an alliance with all order factions still alive. Had only dark elves left to fight...
Of corse a Warhamer 2 dlc was gonna be the GOAT, imo by far the best dlcs we had. I personally prefer The Warden and the Paunch, I remember than Legendary in WH2 was way harder mostly because of the supply lines, and Eltharion was one of the few lords I could finish a Legendary campaign there, since it was so short.
Hm.. I disagree with Tomb Kings and especially the Vamp Coast being higher than Ogres. Sorry VCoast is broken at this moment and Tomb kings are simply outdated. Ogres in the other hand are solid not perfect but really solid
This is a decent list. I don't think you have a good concept of how strong the factions are, but you know a good bit about how much *content* they have. And I think that's really what matters more for DLCs.
I dont think this is a fair top. Ogres deserve to go higher since Skragg and Graesus play very diferently than Golgfag. Prophet and the Warlock may have the best lord, but Tehenhuahin is a serious contender for worst lord, which balances it out a lot.
I was going to yell at you for putting Omens of Destruction so low until I remembered that Arbaal was free. I'd probably put Thrones of Decay at #1 but this is a good list.
At the start of the video odds on shadows of change being the worst even after the updates making it the same value proposition as both Thrones and Omens
I can never seem to play chaos dwarves for more than 10 turns. I just like a simple campaign focused on building armies, fighting and conquering. Their whole economy mechanic is way too complex and require too much micromanagent for my taste. I just want a fun game after work
the easiest way to do it is just have designated factory and outpost provinces, and then have a goblinstack lord perma raid and then the laborer mechanic is just free money, control, and whatever the influence mechanic is called
And that's perfectly valid, I found a lot of factions too simple to be even remotely interested in them, but Chaos Dwarfs really reignited my own interest in the DLCs that came out, then uh, Shadows of Change came... And It was... Well we know how that went, at least it's a solid DLC now that does not deserve the hate it gets, it's still not great... But, putting it below some of the things on his list... That's crazy talk.
@@Vikt0rian of course. For me it's just a pity cause their unit roster is really great. There should be factions for every player, true. Regarding, the Shadows of change dlc as it is now, honestly, I like it more than the latest one. The units we got were cool and pretty
If you guys are looking for a mod to make Naki's vasal actually a really good power house then look up Nakai Defenders of the Great Plan, this mod makes i think every settlement owned by his vasal a brick wall for the enemies to try and take.
the Skaven always have the best dlc's, i'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to have one more. if the lizard men, high and dark elfs are gonna get 7 legendary lords why not skaven for the cud Agra.
I am fine with most of this list but hunter and the beast. Have you played Nakai in WH3 because CA did a lot to fix him, i understood tje rant in WH2 but nowadays he works fine.
I don’t get why people love skaven, especially Ikit claw. All you do is just shoot from afar and cheese your way to victory. I like a little versatility in my factions.
Thats why they like skaven... Ikit has all the Shooting Shit, throt has beasts, snikch has all the skirmish eshin Units, the variety is absolutely nuts 😅
I don't think the chaos dwarves should be so high because in my eyes, they just don't work. The labor economy ruins the entire faction since you will never, ever have enough laborers to accomplish anything. Not just in the late game either the entire game for all their factions is fucked.
Day one I never saw this as a problem, nor has it ever been a problem in my experience, they're fucking crazy. The fact that you can spend your labourers on one thing or another is amazing. Are you playing them tall? Sitting in your high tower while the world burns down around you? Do you never field Hobgoblin armies? Their faction is fucking crazy with minimal effort and their economy with multiple resources makes them an incredibly fun faction to play, I am so confused by takes like this.
@@Vikt0rian Hobgoblins put up slightly more of fight than clanrats so no. I only use them when i have no other choice. There is absolutely no way to play chaos dwarves while having enough labourers to do practically anything. Even if you are constantly at war with the strongest factions in the game you will still not have enough. CA took a swing and hit the ball inside of the ground.
Lmao. Cant keep watching this after you put call of the beastmen over Shadows of Change. Used to like your channel, but you set your standards way too high.
ahoy, gorbad mechanic is permanent for lords over lvl 30, its fine
really wished to have a naval chaos dwarf lord...
Should have been Level 10/20 instead of 15/30 though.
Really wish we had naval combat

17:34 for Biden workshop
Ok good you heard that as well
They say the last thing you hear after the ratling guns cycle up is "Its Joever yes-yes"

I just bought tww3 9 days ago, i love your videos!
Very hard disagree with your opinion on Nakai and Markus. The placing is about right but they’re flipped in my book as for their individual rankings.
Of corse a Warhamer 2 dlc was gonna be the GOAT, imo by far the best dlcs we had. Tehenhuain less broken? This from the faction who can build settlements for free and gets armies free of upkeep?
Hey, why did you have to do that to my boy Nakai :c
Hm.. I disagree with Tomb Kings and especially the Vamp Coast being higher than Ogres. Sorry VCoast is broken at this moment and Tomb kings are simply outdated. Ogres in the other hand are solid not perfect but really solid

VCoast is broken? In what way, because they're NOT good.
@appleemil5728 Yeah I see my common was a bit unclear. Yes I think that the VCoast feel a bit underpowered.

Cant argue with the top 3. Very good list. I would put the orge's up higher IMO as i think they are really fun to play now

wow first time seeing a vid so quick!
yeah, first 4 are totaly legit, the rest can be a bit changed by preferance, but the last 4, I guess every single one here can agree they are true
I decided to play every character in a row one after another to at least a short victory I am regretting this, and I’ve only made it to the empire
10/10 vid
So true man
the skarsnik and skulkers hate is unwarranted

17:34 the Biden Workshop lol
real ones just use creamapi to get all the dlcs for free
17:34 Ikits “For-Biden” workshop, had no idea he was behind the rumours of election rigging

LoL Blood for the blood god, cash for the CAsh god.😂
Dude, you can't put champions of chaos so high when more than half the dlc is just reskins.
They need to give the units proper armors.
Idk man collecting them all as be’lakor or archaon is insanely fun
