@@pumlanabachwa8668 first of all, I want to make this clear, please don't opt for tubal ligation unless you are really sure that you don't want any more children and even if you have to discuss this with your partner, the end decision has to be with the person who is undergoing the procedure. In our case, hubby didn't want more children after having the first baby but i always wanted 2 children and he knew that. So I asked him that if he felt so strongly about having one baby and no more, he should then have a snip but if he doesn't then I will have another baby. Ofcourse just like most men, that didn't sit well with him, he gave all excuses about having a snip and that was the end of the conversation. I went ahead and had my second baby. But because I only wanted 2 babies in my life, the decision was easier for me to go for the permanent procedure. Both my babies were delivered by c-section so I consented that when I had the second c-section, the tubal ligation would be carried out after the baby was taken out. My baby is now 11 months and none of the things you have mentioned in your text have happened to me. During my research before deciding on this procedure, none of those side effects came up. The only risk which was emphasised was that if its done wrong, you risk getting some abdominal pain or pelvic pain here and there and also after along time, in some cases, the tubes could join again if the clipping method was used and risk getting pregnant......but am sure by the time my do if it were to happen, I will be in my 60s 😂😂😂 and that will mean that the procedure wasn't done properly. But jokes aside, its 11 months now since I had the procedure and no side effects for me. Right now, I don't have to worry about getting more kids and also don't have to disorganise my hormones. But I also think that these side effects should be looked at on individual basis.
