Yet car reviewers/manufacturers insist on having a 3rd row in crossover; and calling it a “family holler" (BTW - the real meaning of crossover is - glorified minivan). How many families actually have 7-8 people in them? Whose family are they driving around? Not to mention that most of the 3rd row seats are completely uncomfortable, difficult to get to and kill your cargo capacity. Plus they add weight to the vehicle. I’ve seen reviews of vehicles like the Honda Passport, where reviewers are complaining about not having a 3rd row seat. I see that as a benefit!!! Look if you need 7-8 seaters, buy a minivan, trust me these 3 row crossovers aren’t any cooler! At least a minivan is comfortable for all passengers; including your exceptional 5 child family…lol

I can hardly agree with kbb this time on just looking at "luxury" and defining the Korean vehicle the "best". How many years have these two vehicles been on the market? How did it perform on the iihs updated test? Every time I see it fail miserably on the updated test, I have a stronger belief that these Korean auto makers are not making a vehicle, rather they are making a gadget that passes a test that looks like a car. It truly is a rush to put any new vehicle on the top.
Not even a consideration of the new CX90 despite the new architecture, new engine, and premium interior? I stopped watching the second I realized that you guys didn’t include it.

So, KBB forget to check car recalls: Explorer 5 recalls, Pathfinder 1 recall, Highlander 1 recall, Pilot 0 recalls, Palisade 3 recalls, Telluride 2 recalls, for all 2023 models, now do you think top 2 are still safe??

Is there a Kia kickback? Palisade and Telluride should be a tie in every comparison unless you're including the reviewer's preference of style. My wife and I have our second palisade and Telluride 2023 models, still zero difference except the power seats in the Palisade's third row. Honestly without looking the only way I know which one I'm in is when I reach for the shifter. Which probably should be a deduction for the Kia as this is extremely outdated and will be gone in a few years. (Hard to let go sometimes) Got to feel bad for anyone with a new car that has a laundry list of issues. It's no comfort, but it happens in every brand and every model regardless of price. When it happens to you though you will absolutely campaign against that brand or model. For a really fun time you should experience it with the big luxury brands, yikes!
So the American automakers exited the passenger sedan markets to focus on SUVs and trucks; and now they can't even compete in the SUV segment! And the workers are on strike for more money? Good luck before they all go out of business!
The Ford Explorer is here and consistently sells over 200k units annually - The current Chevy Traverse outsells literally half the vehicles here and the redesigned model has recently been shown online - The Jeep Grand Cherokee also consistently outsells MORE than half the vehicles here and nearly matches the Toyota Highlander which would make it the 2nd best seller in the segment - KBB simply didn't include them, that doesn't mean they aren't competitive or don't sell well.

Genesis service department is not a luxury brand yet. Maybe after 10 years later, when they are caught with all their car repairs. That is why they offer 10 year warranty .. it not ,nobody's will buy them..
I'd like two vehicles.. 1. a well built quiet, fast, sleek sedan with rwd that has big comfortable seats and can cruise at least 500 miles on a highway at 75mph without stopping for fuel. i don't want any electronics, no stupid suicidal lane assist, or blind spot monitoring that causes limp mode from loud music, or radar cruise control that mistakes overpasses for traffic.. or huge pillars and no glass.. 2. i want a cheap weekend car with a soft top, manual transmission, rear wheel drive, and room enough for two 6ft+ tall passengers..
IMO the pathfinder and Nissan in general, often gets overlooked by shoppers because the brand lacks identity in the market. Most people know Toyota and Honda are proven reliability Hyundai and Kia offers the most tech and features for less Mazda upscale mainstream Nissan doesn’t have an identity and has been been propped up by car rental companies.

No Chevy Traverse or GMC Acadia, Volkswagen Atlas, Mazda CX90? Im okay with Jeep and Dodge missing, their products are not reliable.
Just what I needed
A sea of white, grey, brown...
Where's the VW Atlas?
Vw Atlas, Chevy Traverse and Mazda CX-90 were missing!
Grand highlander is simply the best in class 👑👑
Not with that starting price just buy a van
@mrriandaa what?
@mrriandaa palisade is junk
I am just wondering why you did not do all third row SUVs even the luxury SUVs with this episode
need to know why no Mazda CX-90.
Sometimes we only have certain options when it comes to what's in the local fleet. There wasn't a CX-90 available. But we've got a review up if you want to check that out.
They say the Nissan Pathfinder has better 3 row seating then the Kia Telluride
Weren't these considered full sized SUVs??
I can hardly agree with kbb this time on just looking at "luxury" and defining the Korean vehicle the "best". How many years have these two vehicles been on the market? How did it perform on the iihs updated test? Every time I see it fail miserably on the updated test, I have a stronger belief that these Korean auto makers are not making a vehicle, rather they are making a gadget that passes a test that looks like a car. It truly is a rush to put any new vehicle on the top.
Peanut butter n jealous
Macaphony and please 🙄
Interesting.
Not even a consideration of the new CX90 despite the new architecture, new engine, and premium interior? I stopped watching the second I realized that you guys didn’t include it.
I test drove a Toyota highlander. Weak on power and poor ride.
Nissan worth for money
Nissan pathfinder best❤
Mazda cx90 ???
Wondering why the CX90 isn't included in this comparison
Transmission buttons too confusing in the Palisade? Turn in your drivers license you shouldn’t be allowed on the road 🤪
Honda pilot is the best
The space you need going to costco ot hime depot. Maybe baby stroller?
I have a family of 5 then my extended family? 2 roll are get for couples without kids?
Not including the Atlas in this? Immediately turned off.
waiting for subaru ascent redesign.
Yeah, Hyundai-Kia!
#1. GM,
#2. Toyota,
#3. Ford,
#4. Hyundai-Kia 👏👏👏,
#5. Stellantis,
#6. Honda;
USA sales rankings.
Hyundai-Kia doubled sales in only 20 years. Only a few hundred thousand units behind Toyota. Hyundai-Kia will surpass Toyota within 3 years to become #1 import in the USA!!
Hyundai, Kia, Genesis!
Hyundai, Kia, Genesis!
Hyundai, Kia, Genesis!
10-year warranty or junk!
No to 5-year junk warranty!
It‘s crazy that these suv‘s are considered mid-size, these are big!
Cx-90 is only a 24 model which is why I think it’s not on the list
the hyundai and kia dealership experience put them in the bottom tier, honestly
So, KBB forget to check car recalls: Explorer 5 recalls, Pathfinder 1 recall, Highlander 1 recall, Pilot 0 recalls, Palisade 3 recalls, Telluride 2 recalls, for all 2023 models, now do you think top 2 are still safe??
You'll find these days most every car gets recalled for some reason or another.
lol. Recalls aren't necessarily a justification to define something as "less safe". They can be, but rarely are they.
@@asdfgoogle So car catching fire and need to park outside to save your house is not an issue for you then what is? Korean cars have too many serious issues, they are not worth the hype and over MSRP values, they are upside down asap.
@@GARENV I bought a 2000 GMC Sierra in like 2015. Turned out there was an open recall on it. Took it to the dealership and they swapped out the cable on the tailgate or whatever it was.
I didn't know NIssan still made the Pathfinder. I haven’t seen a new one in years.
It's actually a pretty capable truck, much more so than he previous generation these days. They've swapped out the CVT for a 9-speed automatic and it's much better.
I love the Pathfinder it's very attractive
Two Korean brands in 1, 2 position.. time sure has changed..
(Hard to let go sometimes)
Got to feel bad for anyone with a new car that has a laundry list of issues. It's no comfort, but it happens in every brand and every model regardless of price. When it happens to you though you will absolutely campaign against that brand or model. For a really fun time you should experience it with the big luxury brands, yikes!
Do you even mention Kia engine problem? Of course no because it’s gonna happen a few years later!
Gosh this lady need to stop doing reviews. We need micah and mike more!
And why is that?
Why? Because she's a woman?
I have a gv70, and their service department are so busy with repairs. You need 4 months booking to get a loaner. That tells you how many issues with their product are.
Honda on the other end, better car. I had a v6 and drove 70 miles in traffic and highway speed.. nothing happened. But after my lease was up, i turn it in.. that happened with a valvoline quick oil change trainee forgot to tighten the oil filter.
2021 model honda v6❤.. it's a tank...
Imo the Grand Highlander looks the best. Surprised it didn’t get placed higher.
Tbh the highlander is by far one of the ugliest cars I’ve seen in years, in my opinion
Expensive.
In my opinion, Nissan pathfinder is the best one out of the bunch, i would buy pathfiner over anyone of these all day long
IMO the pathfinder and Nissan in general, often gets overlooked by shoppers because the brand lacks identity in the market. Most people know
Toyota and Honda are proven reliability
Hyundai and Kia offers the most tech and features for less
Mazda upscale mainstream
Nissan doesn’t have an identity and has been been propped up by car rental companies.
I totally agree! The fact that the Nissan has a true automatic and not a CVT by Jatco speaks volumes.
We agree. It's a great option now that it's been updated. And the Rock Creek is very capable off-road if you choose to take it there.
Does have a lot of safety issues though. That seat In the back is annoying…
1: I’m assuming GM and Mazda didn’t have any of their products available?
2: Kia and Hyundai have terrible reliability. They are certainly better than they used to be but sorry the Toyota and Honda are the clear winners here.
Mid-size SUVs shouldn't have 3 rows as they're too small.
Where Micah? Where Mike ?
They're here.
@@kbb How come we hardly see them ? I just don't like the way Lyn reviews vehicles.
What?? No Mazda CX-90?? KBB fail… 😕
