    Honestly the more I listen to studio tapes the more I realize how good Ringo was for the Beatles. Like the fill at 1:30 sounds incredible, and brings the song right back to life. He may not be the best drummer in the world, but he was exactly what the band needed

      Tyler Owsianiak For real. I’m my opinion, I believe that’s what make the Beatles the greatest band of all time. And they probably got ringo to join at the perfect time as soon as beatlemania was about to take off into the mainstream

      @Bennett Zimmer Because it is evil which we often have to face on Earth. But our strength, faith and light will prevail through the darkness. A beautiful butterfly appeared to me at the cemetery here in Ohio while I was visiting my mom and dad and he rode home with me all the way back to my house in the car. It was Dominique letting me know that he's with me and ok. He flew off quite content after spending two days in my sunroom warming up from the cold. I was so inspired that I wrote a poem(story) in French called
      Mon Petit Papillon. Perhaps I will publish it like I did my first children's book, "Bibimbop."
      It's on Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites. Thanks for your response.

    Unfortunately for us this is one of thee last previously unreleased recordings of theirs. If not the last one! Unlike the Stones that still have a ton of unreleased material. As I understand it by the time they were working on "Let it Be" the friction between Paul and John was becoming unbearable for all involved. And Johns continued extreme experimentation with LSD wasn't helping matters. I am pretty sure that there is still unreleased solo material by George and John. Just don't know if we will ever see it. Thanks for sharing this one. It gives us an idea of what might have been to see them perform in concert. Thank God I went to all those Dead shows while I had the chance. Go on tour. Check out TTB, and KBB, or Gov't Mule for a good time.

    George was not getting much respect during these sessions. Brilliant songs that would show up the following year on All Things Must Pass were passed over. Macca was on fire with Let it Be, Get Back, Long and Winding Road, Another Day, and Two of Us. Ringo was drumming great as usual. John seemed uninspired by being in the band. These sessions were too soon after completing the White Album in October.

      The business problems infected these sessions also, not a happy time in beatleland. It worked out fine in the long run for George to release his songs he compiled on his solo albums, especially ATMP with a lot of enthusiasm that didn't much exist anymore in the Beatle scene. John even dissed ATMP after it came out.

      I think Jealous Guy/Child of Nature is such a beautiful melody,I'm glad he did'nt record it officially as Child of Nature,he did'nt believe in the words of the song as he had fell out with maharishi,plus the production on Jealous Guy is beautiful,the piano,orchestration and John's vocals and whistling make it a classic,which fits perfectly on his Imagine album

If you search for the arrivel of The Beatles to Spain about 1965 (don't remember exactly the year) you'll find that the police left half of the people outside the place where they were playing so that the news could say spanish people didn't like The Beatles, what was completely false. I’m kinda confused as to why they didn’t finish a few of these songs. Let it Be is only 12 songs ( ten if you take away Maggie Mae and Dig It, which although no one is a fan of, I know they are there to add to that raw feel, which is ironic because I love the studio chatter at the beginning of songs, but although I really like some of Phil Spector’s contributions, they kinda take away from the raw feel, making the two songs mentioned earlier pointless.) So why not finish these songs? Ringo didn’t even get a song, and I know George would have been happy to have his songs on there. Even Paul and John had some bangers that they didn’t finish until their solo careers. I know some of this is just jamming, but there are even more songs on other channels from these sessions.

    • @vadimfedenko
      @vadimfedenko 4 роки тому +1
