That’s a different model. This one is not compatible with different attachments. Motor is definitely on the business end, not in the handle on this model.
I think somebody made off with my old Ryobi 40v, which I've had for a decade, but it was SO loud and I'm wondering if this is my cue to upgrade to this one. Is it much quieter than the regular Ryobi trimmer, do you know? I do like that it has two settings. That's new.
Can you add an Echo Speed Feed 400 head on this? The other Ryobi 18v One + trimmers I have the worst aspect was that stupid auto feed head that just wastes trimmer line
@@benwaldron4754 Thanks! The attachment version is $10 cheaper than this model with 4ah battery(vs 6ah in this one), and the motor is in the handle instead of the head. I think the design differences on this one are what makes it much quieter (hence the “whisper” branding). When I looked at the attachments, cost wise it was just more efficient to purchase the dedicated tools if I needed that functionality in the future.
@@lundy405plus the Attachment Capable (Expand-It) version, since it's a Power Head essentially, has its motor on the upper end instead of down at the bottom.
Thanks for the review! Super helpful. I wish more people just made little clips like this for products.
Thanks. I chose this one with your help 👍
I'd like to see a review of the One with the bike handlebars, the 18V HP 26CM Brush Cutter. No one seems to have reviewed it on UA-cam at all :(
I thought the motor is right next to the battery that you slide in since it has the expandable capability and can attach other equipments.

@@lundy405 thx. for clarifying.

Thanks for the review! How has it held up over the past year, any issues?
Still working great! No issues at all.

This one has a bump feed.
how do ya put it together?
Does this model allow you to swap attachments, edger , pole saw etc
No
@@lundy405 thanks for the review and reply. Disappointing this model does follow their other line with the expand it attachments. Thanks again.
