The most insane misprint I’ve ever seen was when I pulled a Dark Armed Dragon from PTDN. It had a yellow border, a name saying “Gladiator Beast Andal”, was only level 4, earth attribute, had Andal’s picture, Andal’s stats, and Andal’s flavor text. Insane.

At that point i think youve gotta say its a misprinted Andal rather than a misprinted DAD. Still real cool though.

This was really entertaining. I actually have a gamma the electromagnet warrior that has slifers red back. So the back of the card is red instead of its normal color. Wasn’t sure if I had explained that right. 😂 now I’m wondering how rare something like that happens.
I have this card that basically instead of the standard backside of all cards (the swirl) the swirl's pink and I was like "Wha..." when I pulled it 😂
You forgot to show IMO one of the best missprints ever, the Morphing Jar with Jinzo foiling...Seriously crazy rare and expensive, my own personal favorite and one of the most legendary missprints of all time
It's not _crazy_ rare, just really expensive because TP2 is rare in general. But about every 4th or 5th copy out there is a Jinzo Jar. It's like the Chaos Neos/Rainbow Dragon, they are expensive because they are Ghost Rare but very uncommon among the print run.
Call by the grave and dragon seeker jinzos are the crazy rare tp2 misprints
For me these cards are amazing but my heart is still attached to that ghost rare chaos neos rainbow dragon misprint

I actually used to own these in 2011. They were pulled from boxes in Birmingham, UK. There was actually 6 in total I sold, and I know there was at least 3 more. Sold my 6 for $90, still have the messages off Pojo where I sold them. Painful to see they are now some of the holy grails of misprints haha.
@@TheJordanRuff i mean, still being able to say that you were a part of the original pulling is like being part of a historical event in itself. Would have been nuts to have seen it pulled in person. Gratz on probably one of the best pulls I've heard of. Sad to hear u sold it tho.
I love how the gold Monster Reborn looks like the Mew card from the first film promo. It looks gorgeous.
The most common misprint is Enlightenment Paladin. I’ve seen many people with one and have one myself
I'd say the most common is the Red Earth Misprint of Goblin Attack Force from PSV

Not exactly a misprint, but I remember reading a comment on a Yu-Gi-Oh video saying that they got 2 Blue-Eyes in their original Kaiba Starter Deck when they were a kid.
Simply unlucky has a video of him opening one!

*I had a half/half card. So the top half was the bottom (half) of a spell and the bottom half was the top (half) of a monster.* It was pretty cool. I also pulled a Strike Neos that was half blue on the right side. Like it was literally almost as blue as a ritual monster.

I always loved misprints. I actually got a bit of a collection myself including a MAGO Number S39: Utopia the Lightning with a completely white outer border, a Andro Sphinx with 2 Eyes of Anubis, and a 2 player Yuma and Declan starter deck where every other card has with no bottom border or very little.
This is amazing! E Hero Chaos Neos and Rainbow Dragon should be on the list too!

Was sorting a friend's collection by card type and go super confused when I found a Level 4 warrior effect monster printed with the white color of a Synchro monster but no synchro type not material requirements. It was neat

The closet thing I got to a misprint is a gold rare effect veiler with 3 small green splotches on it.
What likely happened with the shifted foiling was the metallic foil they used did something we in printing call "ghosting". They might have been applying it with too much tension or at too high a speed, which can make it shift.
So when flame swordman is cyber stein, doesnt that mean he could summon himself with his own effect 🤔

That Blue-Eyes glitch is nightmare fuel, bringing it truly closer to the similar Xenomorphic shape of its head and body design..

The 8:50 happens to be in the spot of the Ultimate Rare Slot for OTS packs. At least in Germany at the time where Decode Talker was one of the current UMR this happend sometimes.

the craziest misprint ever was the Battle's of legend light's revenge prismatic secret rare foiling on a few cards. Back when we had barely any prismatic secret rare foils here in the TCG aside from promos and world superstars
Y'know the fun part is, I as a printer (Not of YuGi cards but a sa printer in general), think I messed up and ended up wasting materials during such prints, and we even hide this stuff to avoid client complaints, we simply trash them, and there is people who's willing to pay pretty peny for this. If you just knew this is a headache sometimes, you wouldn't wan't to even see them if you had the chance.
I own a nameless German ultimate rare El Shaddoll Construct and I love it to bits. There's not even an indentation of its name in the box.
The coolest misprint I ever had was a Dark Rabbit without a name.
I think my favorite misprints have always been the Rainbow Dragon/Chaos Neos misprints. It's effectively two cards, from two completely different sets, that got misprinted in both sets. The Tactical Evolution misprint is a ghost rare Rainbow Dragon that has the artwork of Chaos Neos. This by itself is pretty cool, but somehow Chaos Neos in Gladiator's Assault also got misprinted and ended up having Rainbow Dragon's name.
As for misprints I've actually had, they barely count IMO, but I used to have a bunch of misaligned foil gold secrets from Premium Gold 2. It was barely noticeable, but if you shined the cards in the light at just the right angle you could see where the foil was shifted down a bit. Over time I think I just kinda got rid of most of them (they're probably still out in circulation but nobody's noticed that they're slightly off). I did end up keeping two cards from that lot, a Rose Lover and an Isolde (the level 4 zombie).
In retrospect though, I kinda wished I had bought more of that box, because I think that whole box had defective gold secrets like this.
One of my prized possessions. A Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn. The name stamp had run out of ink, but was pressed hard enough to imprint the name onto the card.
The first misprint I noticed was pulling my third copy of Goblin Attack Force, the Earth Attribute Icon was replaced with a level star icon of the same size. It was weird and made me wonder how that could happen. I get where misalignment happens, but printing a star the size of the attribute circle, someone just used the wrong image and size. That had to take some work.
The size is adjusted by the software they are using. It's basically a drag & drop card maker.

Don't have it anymore but back when Weather Painters were made my locals had multiple boxes of secret rares with no names. Me and my friends got like 5/6 boxes so I ended up with an entire Weather Painter deck with no name. Sold it for 400 at a Regionals haha.
I have an LOB Exodia head with no name, a Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth without the shatterfoil from duel terminal, and I believe I still have my Constellar M7 without the shatterfoil from duel terminal. Misprints are cool
The best misprint of all time will always be the mix of Chaos Neos and Rainbow Dragon, in GHOST RARE. I think theres multiple copies of that going around and theyre worth thousands each because its Ghost Rare, aswell as a misprint
Have you heard putting blue-eyes white dragon in the direct sun and you get this odd effect
It's not a misprint but people putting blue-eyes white dragon on window ledge and letting the sun bleach the card. It looks good
Blue-eyes dragon dosent change much but the rest of card looks great
If you got spare blue-eyes dragon don't mind sun bleaching then put ok on by a window where gets alot of sun takes like 6 months or so depending on how much sun your window gets

I've only pulled one misprint in my history playing Yu-Gi-Oh but it was certainly a whopper. I opened a Legendary Heroes box which contained the new support for Destiny Heroes, Nordics and the Phantom Knights archetypes. Of the new cards originally printed for that release, specifically the new link support for the decks, the Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche card that came with the box was stamped with the indents for the card name, but lacked the foil that would make the card name visible under casual viewing. Due to the indents being present on the card, the name is readable if you rotate the card at the correct angle, but if I put it into a sleeve the name becomes nearly invisible to the naked eye. One of a kind card and a treasured part of my collection.
I love the look of XYZ monsters that have name imprints with no name foiling. Like the name blends in but is still there
Got lucky 5 years ago when I purchased a 1st Ed. LOB Blue Eyes for $650 that had the name shifted all the way onto the picture and graded it a PSA 9
I once had a Sword Hunter with the foil for Premature Burial, making it look like a ghost being kept in his swords.
That was a fake unfortunately as there are no Common/Ultra Rare mixups but fake misprints are cool too.
Only misprint ive got is a ultra rare dark magician where the tablet is behind him. The misprint is that the name is directly on the line of the square box. So the bottom part of the box is going though the name
I have and have looked at Yugioh cards since they first came out but I've never seen *ANYTHING* like those in my life, not even once. If there isn't already, there should be a Cyberse-Type archetype with Monsters, Spells, and Traps that have unique "glitched" art themed around glitches and viruses. Things like warped creature designs that extend beyond the frames, blocks of big pixels printed haphazardly around, printing symbols multiple times, a repeated/nonsensical word in the description, etc. but keep the stats and symbols visible and consistent so that they're still 100% playable.
Just to note, the Cyber Phoenix is also a triple misprint, it's not foreign. It just has the Chainsaw Insect foiling and the name Destruction of Destiny. I also believe that the two in the same picture with the Diamond dude incorrect name are the same type of error.
I have a misprinted Lightsworn Sanctuary not only is the name off center but also the Y is stamped onto the Spell symbol & the name is sinked into the card as if it was stamped in over & over the name is also indented on the back
A challenge a hunt for those over in Oz. There was a card shop that I found when visiting a father figure / mentor. There was a no name printed solemn judgement.
I once had a nameless Ulti Mark of the Rose and a GLAS Gladiator Beast Laquari with the imprint of Expressroid in its name.
That life equalizer has to be the coolest misprint ever omg
I had a copy of Flint where the name (it was just a normal Rare so it was just silver lettered) was basically not imprinted at all
pulled a misprint that had half the art foil vertically on it with nothing misaligned, don't remember what card but i do remember it was worth a few bucks. the misprint looked so cool a sold it for a cool 60.
7:35 I had one of those crimped-top cards for Type Zero Magic Crusher back in like 2003 or 2004. Ended up selling it along with my whole Yugioh collection at some point when I didn't care for physical cards anymore.
In some store from a city inside a state near the Mexico Capital. The owner pull out a ghost rainbow dragon card but with the image (still ghost) of a elemental hero neos
I own one misprint in a Nimble Momonga thinking it's Royal Command. It's always great to find those. Anyway, the series of misprinted names that went over on other cards was awesome. They missed a couple of them, but it's a great collection to have.
I have an Inzekctor Picofalena card with a little misprint, it has a little silver ball next to the left upper corner. not as impressive as the ones you showed but is the one I got, haha
My personal favorite misprint is cards from both battles of legend lights revenge and code of the duelist coming with the prismatic foiling from world superstars. I've been looking for world chalice monsters with the prismatic foiling since I heard of them
I own a German Rapid Fire Magician. The name of the card is printed, but the silver color is completely missing. There are only the indentations of the letters.
I have a Artorigus King of the Noble Knights where the name is in English but the rest of the text (attribute, 1st Edition, effect) is all in all in Spanish. I pulled this from an English pack. I've search but have never seen another multi-language misprint.

Only "major" misprints I got are ultra Evolzar Zolda that has name almost on top of its levels and commons from one Shadow of infinity booster I bought where the eye of anubis is at the top right corner of the cards. Electric virus, synthesis spell and few others.
My brother opened a MACR pack a while back and every card was nameless. I used a few of them in my Spyral deck. Was really cool to see!
I'm not sure if this count as misprint or not, since i'm not really into Yu-Gi-Oh.
One day i bought a pack (kinda a structure deck/starter deck but thinner, only has less than 20 cards).
I got that really strange card. I think it's darkness & light dragon. But the back side of that card is different.
Instead of brown spiral black hole thingy, it's completely different colour & pattern.
The kid me that day is mind blowed and keep it as the biggest treasure.

When I was a kid I got a Relinquished from a pack with the correct name stamped on it except it was only the indention of the name, no foil in the name text
Back in 2007, i was a youngin visiting my local spot and a guy, around the age of 30 walked in and showed me a missprint of thousand eyes restrict without the name. I asked him how much he thinks its worth and he told me about 300$. I wonder what he could fetch for it nowadays.
My only misprinted card is a Crossroads of Chaos copy of Sees of Deception; the only misprint is that it’s missing the Eye of Anubis on the bottom-right corner.
I have a nibiru alias the rock, where they forgot to ink the name. You can only see the stamp without the Black Colour. Its not really a missprint but it's actuell really nice XD
The best misprint is secret rare Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn :)
You should’ve mentioned the Ghost Rare Chaos Neos Rainbow Dragon misprint. Imo it’s one of YuGiOh’s most famous misprints.

Someone at my locals has 3 copies of blue eyes white dragon that are bleached out. The color of the whole card looks lighter than it should.
Hot red dragon archfiend from JUMP actually has a typo in its effect, it says, you can "destoy" instead of destroy. And a black whirlwind I have in spanish has its effect incorrect, it says you can add blackwings from your graveyard instead of the deck

That test print would be from Belgum, Netherlands plays mostly using EU English.

The fusion with "Afwerpen" is from the Netherlands. I Just wish I knew where in the Netherlands they were printed.
Imagine being a kid, following the banlist with the "Fiend Skull Dragon" Spell Card that returns all Speel and Trap Cards on the field to the respective owners' hands, and being told you cannot play this card because it's banned, even though Fiend Skull Dragon does not appear on the list anywhere...
As a Red Eyes Black Dragon fan I like the Red Eyes Black dragon one and I want to see more of Red Eyes Black dragon misprints

I pulled a 1st edition dark magician from Lob 20 years ago but somehow it was named blue eyes white dragon. Wich was funny as hell
The only misprint I own is a playset of misprinted Zoodiac Barr*ge from the 2017 tins. Not a super crazy misprint but still pretty cool.

Oh yeah, misprints...... I still have the 2 copies of "Legendary Decks 2" Eternal Soul with a noticeable name shift on them where the name is just barely outside the bottom left border of the name box. not *as* big as most of the ones on this vid, but nonetheless. What made it even more special is that I pulled one of them and got the other 2 Secret rare promos (a copy of "Dark Burning Magic" and "Dark Burning Attack" with the exact same type of nameshift, implying that any nameshift misprints on those promos would transfer to all the otehr ones on the same box.
Yes, most misprints are not one of a kind, usually at least one enitre sheet is affected. :)
I actually have 1 misprint an Amazoness tiger its writing its smeared and its writing is different than a normal yugioh card and has a miscut
my friend had an upgraded rarity. he had a champion pack destiny hero fear monger but it had gold lettering making it an ultra rare

A friend of mine has a DMOC which has the color scheme of a normal monster. Other than that it's pretty flawless.
