That dark magician is totally unexpected. Thats legit the first time ive seen a mystery box have good stuff in them lmao
I've pulled a curse of dragon from one it was cool.
Same dude ive bought 6 or 7 and the only thing i have to show for them was a Legendary Fisherman out of a Pharoahs servant pack. But fishermans one of my favorite cards from the anime so i was hyped.

Wow the cubes did well, its fun to see the cubes getting good stuff as well as seeing weird things like the old random fusions.
Awesome Dark Magician and Relinquished pulls, the power cubes are pretty worth it since it comes with legacy packs and other booster packs, I’ve bought four of them and got two spell rulers and two legends of blue-eyes white dragon booster packs.
Those cubes smacked those vintage packs. A lot of nice small hits plus the epic DM secret.

Mystery cubes are underrated. Everytime I pull something awesome. Pulled Trihorn from legacy, Exodia the forbidden 1 from legacy, and Dante from DUEA. All on seperate cubes
Woot woot. That Relinquished pull was awesome, I’ve always loved that card. Then seeing that Dark Magician get pulled was also amazing.
The cubes actually won! With a dark magician no less! And there were quite a few really good pulls in there as well.

That secret rare Dark Magician is a very tough card to get. I’m not surprised you’ve never seen it. You’re the second person I’ve seen actually pull it from a pack! The other was JRBJobber I think.

darkness approaches is a meme. discard 2 and set a card facedown WITHOUT CHANGING ITS battle position. Its been errata'd but it allows facedown attack position

Relinquished takes it over the dark magician for me due to the nostalgia of the packs but the mystery boxes were so much better can't see them redoing that anytime soon

So what's the easiest/cheapest way to get some legacy packs? Do they straight up sell single packs now outside of ebay scalping or do you have to get them from things like the cubes? I've been having fun getting back into yugioh since I stopped when I was a kid and it's been a bit confusing to catch up.
Very surprising fight, was quite entertaining! Mystery cubes winning is like a random stranger beating a professional fighter with a lucky punch.

Bruh that's so funny because I pulled that dmg in the yugis world out of the mystery cube and it was my first time opening that set. I was rooting for that for you but dm is still insane too. Honestly that one pack pays for the whole cube....RIP legacy packs lol

I'm thinking about working to complete these battle pack sets but there lots of cards and all of them come in the star/mosaic/shatterfoil (yes each battle pack is different foiling)
