So, a few things that come to mind. First off, (1): you don't actually NEED to use high level tuner+slightly lower level nontuner or anything to summon these. You can just skip Polari, and use a level 1 tuner and level 8 Synchro, for example. (2): One slight issue is that these Synchros need 3 monsters at minimum to summon them (two materials minimum to meet the Synchro 'half' of the requirement, and an additional tuner, all three of which have to be useful levels). This... isn't usually a big deal with stuff like Crystal Wing, because there's either a nice neat mini engine that results in it (Windwitches) or you can cheese it out (Tzolkin, Dragon Link), but those options don't really work for the Bearcti synchros. Still, shouldn't be too hard to get Septen Trion out in other decks, though you'll miss out on the search effect. (3): The revival spell can also trigger the on-summon effects on the opponent's turn, BUT all the effects are hard once per turns so you can't trigger multiple Micpola searches or Megatanus flips in a single turn. (4): Bearcti really don't have any sort of protection aside from Septen's floodgate effect? And being unable to revive Septen means there's very little reason to play it in-archetype compared to splashing it into other decks. (5): No real method of profiting off of the tributes, and Hieratics are level-incompatible with these. A darn shame.
Okay, so Konami has been messing with their own mechanics as of late, so I am theorizing that they will do the same with the Pendulum archetype in that deck building pack, by breaking up their scales. I mean one might be left hand scale 3, and right hand scale 9, or something to that effect.

I noticed how similar they were to Drytrons immediately, but the more I look at them, the more potential I see. I can see so many combos already. So, let’s say you have a hand full of monsters. Summon during your opponent’s main phase two, and you can rank up or link summon when it comes back to your turn. Synchro in the graveyard? Add it to hand to get it back in the extra deck so you can special summon it again! The deck may be a bit difficult to work with, and while I am a casual player, I do like very much what I see.
It wouldn't surprise me if Draitron and Bearcti are somehow lore-adjacent. - Both based off constellations - Both look like giant mechs - Both field spells are giant space carriers - Both provide new ways to execute their respective styles of summoning. Makes you wonder what other constellations might be made into archetypes...
@@abuhassan8849 Mask of Restrict is a bad card and there's not a reason to play it, only if you consider "it kills drytrons" a good argument, because while it could work against Drytrons and this archetype, it (mask of restrict) sucks against pretty much anything else. Also there's the fact that "this deck dies to TCBOO" could be said for many decks, and there's also the fact that no meta deck (except rogue) is using there can only be one. This archetype really is not the greatest, but you just gave the wrong reasons of why it is not good
I'm not a big fan of synchro summoning, but this is really interesting. I always knew they would bring subtraction into synchro summoning eventually, especially since they did it in the anime, but they combine it with main deck monsters that can do damage without synchro summoning and a bias toward xyz and link monsters.

2 things here. This is the second animal Mecha archetype, based on a constelation, that breaks summoning rules, the other being Dritron. Meaning that we can expect to vreak pendulums, XYZs and Fusions. Also, this is straight up Dark Synchros
Deep Sea Diva searching Neptabyss can actually let you summon Polari on its own and then you have Neptabyss's effect to potentially get Sea Searpents from Dragoons's effect. Dragoons can also trigger off of Grand Chariot. Although, no Lv. 7 or higher Sea Serpent has an effect when it gets Tributed, so you wouldn't get that much advantage off of using them to summon your high level Bearcti monsters.
Just built this deck, I put cards like VW Shenshen, Vermillion, Tzolkin and Crystal wing into it and it is decent. It is vulnerable mostly to Nibiru or Lancea. I did a red eyes dragoon package with the Ursarctic package since Dark Magicians and Red Eyes are both level 7s (I play 3 Magicians and 2 Red Eyes), they aren't bricks in the hand anymore since you can tribute them for the Bears if you draw them. Play triple Red eyes fusion, 1 wyvern, 2-3 insights and it runs pretty smooth. Still testing it but it's fun to explore new archetypes.
The Field spell, if effect 2 is correct, means it gets counters with either players Special summoning. SO either it's going to have a bull's eye on it, or you'll have to bait out negation. But it's main use will be for effect 1
Looks cool! Seems like everyone is going into an ice/winter theme with Bearcti along with the new Ice barriers deck, and even Magic releasing Kaldheim.

This method for synchro summoning seems to be an irl version of negative synchro summoning from the dark signers. 8-7=1, but instead of introducing negative synchro summoning, they did it this way for some reason.
Big Dipper only says each time a monster is special summoned. Not each time you special summon or each time a Beartic monster is special summoned. So your opponents special summons will count too. With most decks being combo decks. It would be easy to activate this effect. I think it’s a solid card. @Cimooooooo
Don't forget, Cimo: Big Dipper takes the opponent's monster, does not negate its effects, it can still attack and is a permanent steal--that can be pretty powerful. Combined with Tri-Brigades (because all Bearcti are Beast/Beast-Warrior), there's a lot of potential here.
I think not, both these and Draitron are related to constellations (Draco and Ursa) so they'll probably keep that theme going because lore
@@elemomnialpha While that would be cool, I think they want to revamp old summoning mechanics.
There’s a new card that changes Scale according to which Zone it is on!
An archetype about mechs in space that focuses on synchro summons? It's like everything I love all in one.
Oh wow, the level 8s are more offensive than the level 7s.....guess you could say it's a *level up*
Sounds like a reference to Dark Synchros from the anime, I'd love to see them get more support later on
So you're telling me that a world without light hasn't been revealed yet?
I understood that reference.
I mean the guy has a Kallan-in-the-sunset profile pic
@@Nyartatouille touche.
I dunno why everyone is getting excited over these dark synchros
Do they want to become dark signers ?
@@Nyartatouille It's because they looked like a cool concept in the show, and then just never appeared.
Also 5Ds had a massive boost in popularity a few years back when people gave it a second chance and found out it's really good.
Yo Cimo, I bought on of your Summon shirts & it came in the mail recently! Nice design! 👌🏾
i love the way that cute level 1 bear needs the souls of 2 big monsters to be dropped
A single Ghost Reaper banishes all copies of that Level 1 bear
@@abuhassan8849 and?
@@abuhassan8849 ok, but you do have to put a copy of it in ur own extra deck, you should focus on VFD instead of that card,
That card getting banished won't kill the deck anyway
Why are you guys discussing counters to this card when all I did was a comment about its summoning requirements are you stupid
@@gustavo-fy8tc say that to @Abu Hassan Not me
The second effect from the trap could be nuts in combination with an macro cosmos or something like that, because it doesnt shuffels banished cards away...
They look like gundams tho...literally looks like a bearguy
So basically the long lost synchro mech bear cousins of Drytrons.... interesting
I'm really curious of that 7 card effect cause it's seem so different then anything before.
Just found out the TCG name on YGOrg, it turns out they're gonna be called "Ursarctic"
Polar Bears, in space, in mechs, with Big Dipper references.
*Bearcti becomes Tier 1 in meta*: "You're already dead. IN SPACE!"
I read this as the "Beartic" archetype.
Cubchoo?...
Imagine summoning monsters on your opponents end phase and laughing at their nibiru in hand
Bruh this is just Dark Synchros lmao. I dig it
I don't understand the similarity between them
Both involve subtraction
@@Hyperencrpted12345 I see thanks
It wouldn't surprise me if Draitron and Bearcti are somehow lore-adjacent.
- Both based off constellations
- Both look like giant mechs
- Both field spells are giant space carriers
- Both provide new ways to execute their respective styles of summoning.
Makes you wonder what other constellations might be made into archetypes...
wait a minute, isn't this just Dark Synchro Summon with extra steps?

Isn't this basically the 5D's anime Dark Synchro mechanic
I wanted a generic beast synchro monster for melffys and we get this :(
Still it’s cute AF and it’s an interesting mechanic
Nice

Terrible Archetype. A "Mask of Restrict" or "There Can Be Only One" easily shut down this Deck
.
Me: Debris Dragon and Dandylion on the field.
Opps: Oh you gonna Black rose, ok.
Me: NOPE! 😏
yugioh summon mechanics in the future:
“can not be synchro summoned, must be synchro summoned by doing the quadratic equation and finding the common function of both cards”
This is basicly the dark synchro monsters gimic from the 5ds anime converted into a architype corect me if im right in very eaely into the video also yooo machine dupe?

I’m a huge mecha fan, I’m a huge synchro fan, I feel like Konami is speaking to me directly with this archetype

Their unique approach for Synchro Summoning kinda reminds me on how Draitron strayed how you Ritual Summon.
I'M BACK FROM THE GRAVEYARD
LMAO NICE
Atem : the GY
Me a synchro summon main: Look at me. This archetype is part of my deck now
The way it's spelled in Japanese is "bearukuti", so it's pronounced "beark-tee"
Also, the "new way to Synchro summon" existed with Ultimaya Tzolkin.
*Opponent enters main phase 1*
Bearcti players: “I will now procede to set out my entire board”
This is interesting all my years i play yugioh i never heard of these decks. When i watch your videos it helps me a lot in the new era. Thanks cimoooooooo for teaching your suscribers about the new era of yugioh cards.
2 things here. This is the second animal Mecha archetype, based on a constelation, that breaks summoning rules, the other being Dritron. Meaning that we can expect to vreak pendulums, XYZs and Fusions.
Also, this is straight up Dark Synchros
Anime dark synchro like mecha-bears in space.
Yup, that's the yugioh we all love
Bearcti is part of the Drytron lore. Another constellation mecha deck with a new spin of established summoning mechanics.
0:57 Just write it in Google Translator and click on the audio button.
8:37 These card could be played in Monarchs. Like, summon a few during your opponent's turn and tribute summon in your turn.
13:42 That card is a soft once per turn.
Cimo, about Dipper: ANY time a special summon occurs you put a counter on. Opponents count, too.
For the level 1 synchro, good engine would be the "Drivers" considering Right gets you Left to the field. Making it a 1 card synchro.
the second effect on the trap would be interesting to see on a generic spell that you can target your opponent or yourself until the targeted player reached what ever number was printed
That second trap effect is like a nerfed fiber jar.....its really interesting
I gotta say, I'm kinda stoked for DBAG (though I can't imagine Konami sticking with that set abbreviation in the TCG).
I don’t see how they will work with tri-brigade
