Splashing a 1 drop is not that great when is a creature. Advantage of guide of souls is both the chance of casting it early and making energy to get value immediately before it eats removal.

I think you did have lethal on board at ~27:30 with double adapt giving +2 and menace, and wombat swinging. Am I missing something?

Kenji, you often mulligan when you don’t have a 2-drop, when you have so many. I get that, but I also don’t. Because if you have so many, you’re quite likely to draw one, and taking a mulligan is harsh too, what’s your stance on it?
EDIT: not that it happened this draft, but I see you do it a lot, just wondering :)

It's always open and even then it's terrible. I saw Jim Davis draft one with 4 rares or something and he got obliterated. Went 1-3 I think. That deck is terrible, even with the right cards.
