i completely agree on the first and the last point... i always thought the privacy and the lot is great, although at least some views wouldve been great (especially for this price) but the design especially furniture is pretty outdated... and also being surrounded by a golf club... what could go wrong lol

Respectfully disagree. The house is classic and iconic , not dated, just like the White House or Buckingham Palace. If you own a Dusenberg, you want to keep it in original condition, and this house deserves the same respect.😊😊❤❤ Are the crown and scepter the British monarch uses out of date because they are old? Is the Vanderbilt home in Newport, out of date?

Alvin I would very much like to have your opinion regarding the BEL AIR villa, 908 Bel Air Road which is my favorite, by plastic surgeon Ray Kanodja which seems to have been removed from the market, it is the most beautiful of all in my opinion, it has 3 kitchens , roftop, a mega pool, a beautiful staircase that descends onto a wonderful lawn, a botanical garden, the only thing that isn't beautiful about this splendor is the furnishings but obviously the villa was put on the market at 180 million dollars, if they also put in very good furnishings expensive they had to raise the price a lot, then the furnishings have little importance because when you buy a house you like you change the furnishings as you want, but in my opinion the villa at 908 Bel Air Road is still the most beautiful of all in Bel Air, too bad has never had a tour unlike the one at 924 bel Air Road by Bruce Makowsky
I heard from an agent in LA that 908 Bel Air is privately rented out to a very high profile client.. I am a huge fan of it too.. The view and the size and on the best street too.. If its upto me i'd turn the garden into a half court basket ball with a studio space or guest house/extra garage below it 😁😁 (it was a lil dream of mine 😂)

Can you please do 11201 Chalon Rd in Bel Air. Owned by the Royal family of Qatar and reportedly cost $300m to build, roughly 77,000 square feet on 8 acres of flat land. It’s not for sale but it’s a very large and unique house. Would like to hear your thoughts on it.

Ehhhhh I believe the scale of this property really prevents the golf balls. Not all, but most.
This house is in the style known as Joan Crawford Georgian. Actually, it has some charm. Don't touch it. Dated? So is the Louvre. Shall we install some recessed ceiling lights, gold toilets and a pool table?
The proportions are off for traditional decor: windows too tall/ceilings too low. The octagonal windows under the front portico need to be lowered. I thought about the golf balls before you mentioned them. I wonder if you can hear golfers cursing.
I would be careful about chaining the finishes too much, especially if they are original. If you go too far, the historic nature of the property is nil and more profits would be made by scraping the property and subdividing the lots.
Arvin says this is the best land in all of Los Angeles ... Well if i could, I'd take The Mountain in a heartbeat over this one, even if this was a thousand acres. Lol😅

All I'd take is the 1 parcel at the top... The thing is, I think that one of the biggest flex of a mansion in LA is having your own private driveway, and a very long one at that, it's such a flex... And the views , damn... the views are to die for.
