Skincare Habits For Your 30s (I WISH I'd Started Sooner!) - a follow up video, three years on!
Once she mentioned stress, is when i knew I'll never have perfect skin lol
Biggest tip: your skin care shouldn’t hurt. As a teen I was so upset by my skin I used really harsh products with the ideal of ‘no pain no gain’ and I couldn’t have been more wrong. If it burns, TAKE IT OFF! You’re just making it so much worse.
Honestly never would have guessed you were coming upto 30😮, you look so young, could easily pass for 22
I drink a lot of water. But all I get is PEE. sigh
Here’s the thing. I’m broke.
The only thing i can afford is drinking water
The Skincare Bible by Anjali Mahto is a really great book by a certified dermatologist who herself had acne, it explains in depth things that Melanie mentions such as retinoids, acids etc. She explains what they are, why and how they work and she recommends products for your skin type. It goes through whats good for your skin for all different skin types and basically is literally a bible for anyone who wants to know more about their skin and how to look after it properly <3
I came across this video about six months ago. I bought some of the products that you mentioned and became religious about using them in an everyday routine. The results have been absolutely AMAZING. My skin has never, ever looked better! Thank you so much for making this video!!!! It literally changed my life 🥰🥰🥰.
My biggest problem is sleep. I often have sleep irregularities and insomnia. It affects my skin too
one of the best skin care videos ever. so organized you just went through it like boom boom boom next. instead of rambling about stuff that would get viewers lost. well done girl. you're glowing!!
Drinking water......
Melanie: "Drink A LOT of water"
Melanie : Dont go on your phone at nighttime...
Imagine not being stressed in med school .
Is crying myself to sleep counts as hydration before sleep
"Koreans are way ahead of us"
Skin should always come first, then makeup. Thank you for emphasizing that! That's why I invest more in skincare products than makeup..
After I found Korean skincare and learned all about different acids and serums and essences and double cleansing my skin changed SO much for the better! I have not had bad breakouts in the last 3 years at all. I find it so funny how people are scared to use more products when all these right products really do help.
Omg when I started watching I knew right away you were inspired by the Korean routine and you were totally right to do so! You definitely look sooooo young for someone going to her 30s!
