Cool video. I wonder if replacing the battery pack will make much of a difference in the weight of the gun? Can you weigh it before and after you mod it? Also that loading system is neat. I bet it would be easy to find a way to make a hopper/funnel that loads it faster than hand loading.
+Nacho Garcia its not picitinny. I have a Airsoft rifle aswell as a military red dot sight. Reflex red dot sights don't work that well on nerf rails. But my military red dot fits perfectly onto nerf rails. Nerf rails can still be used with some optics other than nerf attachments. But anything military grade or even replicas aren't useful or necessary on a nerf toy. Your better off and have a better field of view having a clear top rail without anything on it.

I recently just got a linear reflex sight, it's not the best quality, the sight shimmers in your eye during the day and you really have to focus on it, but I tried putting it on that new full auto nerf blaster, the one with the drum mag, and the rail completely messed with the screws on my reflex, so now my reflex won't even fit on my GSG MP5, it'll only fit onto nerf rails but its still wobbly. Cheap optics will usually fail though on nerf blasters and moc toys because their meant as a cheap fire arm optic. But as for my military red dot. Cost me quite a bit, but its durable, fits on everything and long battery life.

The price of the whole kit as well as a stock Zeus is ~$210, making it three times the price of the Khaos in the end, not including time spent assembling, and holds 100 rounds unless you add your own hopper which can in theory make your supply entirely variable. Additionally, Even if the fire rate of a Khaos can be improved, it still seems like the versatility of having as much ammo as you are willing to accommodate a hopper for, as well as active loading through a drop in port at the top, means that you can be nerfing longer and more frequently. Thoughts?
the only thing that I hate about these new blasters is that they're only coming out with one magazine per blaster.... it's not like the old days where you had a blaster that came with 2 mags so that you had a whole system setup.... you have to physically go out and get new mags and now so that you have one or more spares frankly it's annoying whereas it would just be simpler to have Nerf give you two mags in the Box

How's the noise, Drac? One of the things I really didn't like about the Zeus was how loud the motor was--felt like I couldn't get my head down to the sights without my ears ringing. This one seems quieter on the video.
Was excited for this review I don't really use blasters but I like buying up the cool ones just to have them and I might get this Only other thing I'm looking forward to is the BoomCo Halo MA5B Assault Rifle, have the Needler already (Really wish they would remake that sad excuse of a carbine, Carbine is one of my favorite weapons in Halo :c )

3:13 On a given weekend larping I used to loose between 3 and 6 elite darts. When I went to a mega caliber blaster, I didn't ever loose any (sometimes people would find ME to hand me them back). Spent a weekend with a Rival? Lost an entire mag worth. So yeah, the HI balls just vanish like socks in the laundry.
Gotta hand it to the people at nerf for continuing to pave forward. They have a lot of limitations for the price point they aim for, yet they still come up with pretty cool stuff.
Hey Dracula just an idea could you in your future videos put markers every 20 feet for the range shots? I just want to be able to see how far it reaches and judge for myself how far that distance is. Just an idea by no means is it a problem just an idea.
Actually looking at how that mag is constructed and the conveyor belt jank it would be a very easy job to mod this blaster into a 4-round burst fire beast. Correct my if I am wrong, but making a microcontroller with a push rod mechanism behind the mag area that triggers a full cycle (all the way forward, then all the way backward) once per trigger pull would be a pretty easy job, no? That's like... exactly 20 lines of code on an Arduino chip. That would push exactly four balls right through the flywheels, then as it moves back to starting position the balls just reload themselves from under it. You can then free up some space above the mag area by removing the conveyor belt crap, which just seems like a silly idea anyway.
