    One of the more creative and interesting strategies I've seen in while. Cool concept. You're trading the chance to have a multitude of targets on a $25 table for two nemesis numbers initially, without investing a ton up front. I like it! I just rolled it out a couple of time right now and I did well. I would classify it as one of those strategies which aim to build you a foundation which you can then transition to your favorite strategy for a "free-roll". I'm seeing more of that lately, and it seems to be the way to go.

    Fun strategy. I had to try a live roll at my local casino. Considering, i also am a Sosa. I couldn’t resist. Of course, two or three shooters took aim at my five when it was most vulnerable. I adjusted the strategy with a $10 two way 5, after the initial 6-8 hard-way. That is to say, until $50 is built up, and placed on 5. Slower build up, and field 2-12 hits help. However, the carnage of 5s stopped.

    So, I know you do not subscribe to "Qualifying the shooter". absolutely agree! But, what I am doing is looking for a patterns. All shooters have a pattern, and not easy to recognize.
    What I do is sit back and look for patterns. If I find one I impose one of three pattern strategies.
    a. Quarter Pounder b. Martingale Field c. Don't Come. Give yourself a goal, any amount per roller ,based on
    your goals, apply one of the three patterns that will get you there. Look at the roller as a puzzle that you have to recognize not qualify.

    This is a neat strategy. I may have to try it on my next visit to the casino. I haven’t played live craps in so long mainly because the closest casino to me only has 1 or 2 tables open and are almost always $25 min tables. I’m a low roller and like to play pass & come w/ max odds but cannot in any way afford to play on a $25 table. This just may be the answer to that.

    I def like thinking outside the box and utilizing the different bets the game has to offer when it comes to strategies! Besides using this as a way to make/press your bets by using money you've won, you could also apply this strategy after you have implemented your regular strategy. Meaning, once you've racked a profit and if you typically pull down your bets while a hot shooter is still throwing, you could use this strategy as a way to stay in/get back into the roll and still have fun at the table instead of standing idly by on the sidelines watching a great role continue. This looks fun to play!

    Interesting method for $25 tables. My primary casino recently went to $15 from $10. I'm not happy about that. If you can, please show something like this for a $15 table.
    Perhaps $20 in the Field, $2 on a Hop the 5, and $2 each on the Hop 6&8 or something like that? and then a few bucks on the Hard 6&8? Kind of scale it down in some way?

    • @BryanHoltComposer
      @BryanHoltComposer 2 роки тому +1

      Hey PM. If I’m not mistaken - here is how you would convert this system to a $15 minimum table. Divide 15/25 = 0.60 (or 3/5ths)
      So divide any bet value by .60 (or divide by 5, and multiply by 3 to get to same value if easier to envision)
      Field bet = $24 ($40*0.60= $24 or $40 divided by 5 = $8 … 8 x 3 = $24)
      Hop Bets = $3 each for $12 total ($20*0.60 = $12 or $20/5 = 4 … 4*3 = 12)
      Hard ways = $6 each for $12 total ($10*0.6 = 6 or 10/5 = 2 … 2*3 = 6)
      5 Place bet = $30 ($50*0.60 = $30 or $50/5 = $10. $10*3 = $30)
      Field + Hop bets total = $36 (where $25 strategy equaled $60 … $60*0.6 = $36)
      So you get out of the hand on $15 table at $36 vs $60. Then if you matched the inside bet strategy - instead of $110 inside you would play single units inside to equal $66 inside ($18 on the 6/8 for $36, and $15 on 5/9 for $30)

    Something that I've noticed, when playing is, if someone is on a decent roll and then start rolling either two rolls, in a row, that are eleven, twelve, two or three, the third roll is usually a seven. Check all of your vids and keep that in mind, when making your videos.
    I'm going to start paying closer attention to videos to see if this is just something at my local casinos or everyone.
    I started paying attention to it, at HorseShoe Tunica when I saw several people with short rolls. The seven usually came after two of the above numbers were rolled in a row. So, I started turning my bets off and it only failed me twice. Once got one extra roll and the other was a point/seven roll.

  • @azero2
    @azero2 2 роки тому +2

    I think hopping the 5 instead of place betting it for 50 would be a better option. The hop pays 15 to 1 if you play both combinations but 30-1 if you play one combination. So with $50, if you hop the 5 for $5 you will have 10 rolls to hit the 5 before losing the bet. But if you do hit the 5, you win 75 instead of 70. Also, let’s say the 7 hits on roll #3, you only lose $15 rather than the whole 50. On the other hand, if you hit the 5 on roll #4 you risked only $20 to win 75.
    As a low roller, you want to get as much as you can for as little as possibles. So a win on roll 4 with the 5 would get you 5 (the bet placed), 75 (winnings) and you still have the 30 left from your original 50. So that’s $110 with nothing at risk and your out of the hand.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому +1

      the strategy hops the 6/8 not sure why not just hop the 5 as well, it would be $10 per roll as there are two combos of 5 to cover.

      @@buckeyeslim6177 I was speaking specifically about the 5. The strategy works in all other combos which is awesome. I’m not trying to change the strategy. Just offered an alternative to place betting the 5 for $50 in the middle of a hand. For someone who may have a $200/300 bankroll $50 is a lot to place on one number.

    • @buckeyeslim6177
      @buckeyeslim6177 2 роки тому

      @@azero2 True, but YOU aren't placing the 5. The casino is placing it for you. 😉 The reason you leave the 5 as a standing Place bet instead of a revolving Hop Bet is so that you can get your initial investment back faster. If you roll a lot of 5s, you probably SHOULD hop it. However, most people don't roll A LOT of 5s. When I play this myself, I'll keep pressing the 5 for the extra 3 hits until I know I'm out the hand. I end up with a $100 5 by the time I pull everything down and switch strategies. Why? IF I roll a 5, it will pay more. If I don't, it was "free" to place it. The way Jeremy showed it gradually reduces your risk on the last 3 rolls of the strategy, while still keeping you in a winning position after 4 rolls. As he demonstrated, 7 rolls isn't as hard as the math of the game would have you believe. This is the way most people would probably play it, so this i's how I sent it in. However, almost every strategy I use is adjustable to your "flavor" of play. Try it out a few different ways and see which one works for YOU 😎✊🏾

      @TKBomber7285 2 роки тому

      @@azero2 The flaw that I see with this plan is that it turns the soft 6 and 8 into pushes instead of wins. You'd lose the $10 on the hardway, $25 for the other hop bets and $40 on the field and win $75. I agree that $50 feels like a huge number when you only have a $200-300 bankroll, especially when you're only trying to get to $60, so if you don't mind the occasional push it can work.

      YIKES!! You would need an initial bet of $150 at a $25 table ($1000 bankroll MINIMUM). Play $100 in the Field, and 2-way hop the 6/8 for $25 each. The payout is $175, minus the $125 for the Field and the other hop bet, and you profit $50. From there, the mechanics of the strategy with the exact same as they do in this video. You wanna get your 5 up to $125/$150 as quickly as possible, then get the rolls you need to recoup your initial $150.
      You could also just collect for 3 rolls, then go $320 across for 4 rolls. The way this video demonstrates it is best for a LOW roller, but you kinda don't have that option. So you might as well stay all the way invested and go for maximum wins from the start, if I'm just being honest.

      You can do it in that order too. I roll more hard 6/8s (and losing money on other shooters rolling them) than I do 5s, so play it this way. The strategy is very adjustable. You can play it from the pass line as well, but as is you can adjust it to what you see happening at the table. This is just the basic "raw foundation" version. You can create your own personal variations from here. 😎

    I tried this Saturday night at Planet Hollywood. First shooter set a point of 9. I dropped $60. Next roll was a 5. I'm down $60 so tried again. Next roll hard 6. Okay, I'm down $120 but its early so I drop another $60. Next roll - another 5 now I'm down $180 from a $500 buy in. Screw it. Went with an Iron Cross and got part of my money back before he threw a 7. Next two shooters PSO. My turn - $25 pass line then Iron Cross with partial press and collect. I had about 15 rolls and hit 2 points before tossing a 7. Next shooter must have rolled for over an hour before he tossed a 7 (he was only missing 11 for ATS). I cashed in and got some dinner. Couldn't get close to a table afterwards nor last night after the game.
    Those early hard 6 and hard 8 with 5 or 7 coming out can (and will) kill your bankroll. I'll give this another try later this week in one of the local (SoCal) casinos (ugh! I don't really like card craps) and see if I do better there.

      I've had that happen too. Like you, I switched strategies. If a strategy loses twice in a row, I'll usually switch to something else for a while and MAYBE try it again later in the session or at a different table. I also usually don't use the same strategy on the same shooter (of course, there are exceptions). If the shooter knocks my money down before I profit, I'll wait on the next shooter. This one is probably gonna "call Ruby" soon anyway. 😁

      @@buckeyeslim6177 I did try it at one of the local casinos. I walked up to the table as they were taking down the checks -- the shooter I missed out on had hit the ATS once and was only missing the 5 from hitting it a second time. He left after that roll. The next four shooters weren't able to throw more that 4 times before hitting a 7. I moved to the dark side and recovered my money from those four shooters then left. At no time during any of the rolls did the numbers on the dice total 7 but when they slid the cards out all those 6s, 8s, and 9s turned into 7s.
      I tried adding cards on my practice rig (shuffling them after each shooter just like the local casinos) but haven't figured out a consistent dice set yet for either light side or dark side play.

    Betting table min on the pass and backing it up with as much odds as you can afford/casino allows is the way. Throw a come bet out and back that up just the same if you can afford as well. Messing with lower EV bets that overlap is in my mind similar to betting a large amount of the roulette wheel. Fun and guarantees wins on most rolls until a seven out comes and everything is gone, but your return on those bets is not commensurate with the eventual risk and bankroll blowout when 7 appears, which it tends to do every 6 to 7 rolls. Guy got lucky in his live rolls, making for an entertaining video

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 роки тому +1

      Line and max odds is definitely the way to have the lowest house edge of well below 1% but if point numbers aren’t rolling you are losing more quickly. I think you are right and key term is “as you can afford” odds does not increase chances of winning just increases volatility. Win more or lose more, the dice will decide.

    another great video, could you possibly show an example on a $10 table, I know the principle is the same but it would be nice to see it played out. am I right in thinking that. you'd place $2 hop the easy 6 & 8 and $20 on the field otherwise anything less than $2 hopping means you'd be down on the field bet? or would you suggest another way of playing with on $100 on a $10 table? Thanks in advance for you advice.

    • @buckeyeslim6177
      @buckeyeslim6177 2 роки тому +1

      $2 on each combination hoping the 6/8 ($8 total), and $16 in the Field. You'll win $8 each hit. $4 Hard 6/8, then use the next four wins to get your 5 placed for $25/30.
      The basic formula is this:
      I = F + 0.5F
      H = 0.5F / 4
      P = 0.5F - W
      I = Initial investment
      F = Total Field Bet
      H = Each Individual Hop Bet
      P = Profit (per 6/8/Field roll)
      W = Hard Way Loss
      Gotta love algebra, right? 😁 Using this equation, you can run this strategy at any level. 😎

    When I do $100 Passline, I feel like I'm going to shoot myself in the foot if I don't hedge my bet with $15 Any Craps. I guess I'd feel safer winning $85 than losing $100.

      1 in 9 times you will win the any craps and not lose your $100 pass line. 8 in 9 times you will lose $15, for total $120 loss. Certainly hurts to lose $100 vs $15 and many players agree with you.

      If you want to bet $100 on the Pass, you should start with $25 on the Pass and then add $75 as an Odds bet.
