Odds for 5 & 9: Unknown if you wanted to keep this simple or forgot, so I will dare to raise my hand. At 19:48 a 9 was rolled. You placed single odds behind the line per the strategy. Of course, you know even odds for numbers ending in E does not shortchanged your payout.
I just used this strategy on my cruise last week at the $5 limit. I modified it to $17 at risk so that I could always have at least two numbers covered once the point was established if my field bet lost. If it won, I got three covered. I then never touched the field until a new shooter. I was lucky enough to be a part of a 43 and a 41 roll turn on two different nights I played and walked away with 160 dollars in profit. It was an absolute blast! The table was cleaning house. There were a couple high rollers there who pulled down thousands, they had to bring more chips to the table twice one night. I wish I would've been betting heavier but I just don't have that bank roll and you never know when big red is coming. Still I want to thank you for your channel. It gave me the confidence to walk up to the table knowing a little bit about what I was doing.
I’ll give this a go as well. A $500 buy in will last at least 15 shooters since more than likely they won’t all PSO. I still remember the one time I bought in at the craps table in Resorts AC for $200 & left with $3500. I came with a similar low roller strategy ($15 on the 5 & 9 or the 4 & 10), and the by the end of one shooter I had $240 on the 6 & 8. So this will be added to my arsenal. Thanks Jeremy!
The $200 buy in to $3,500 probably happens 10% of the time or less. I feel like low roller strategies are just a small donation to the casino for entertainment.
I like the idea of this low budget strategy, but I would skip the field bet on the comeout and rather do $3 craps check. This way you can utilize the your winning odds on the pass line and you will always have $18 for the 6 or 8 after the point is established.
From what I experienced, you have a hot shooter all systems win. You have 7's coming out; all systems lose. It's just better to get 3 wins, then take your numbers down and wait for 7 and try again.
Don't know if this is the first time doing this but it is the first time I have seen it. Love that you lay out the game plan in detail. Most of the time I am trying to figure out a part of the plan
I was so optimistic for this strategy! Then I tested it out for myself assuming a $25 table and $500 bankroll. $60 per shooter. Come out 5, 6, 8 came up frequently in my rolls, hard 6/8 only hit maybe twice. I had alot of 7 outs before hitting any numbers, which I understand is just variance. I still leaning towards the improved iron cross, even for a relatively low buy in, for my next casino trip
I used this strategy last weekend at the NY-NY and bought it for $200 and left with $725 after about 2 hours of play. Of course there were a couple long rolls but that’s the point of the game
Tried this at locals and actually made a ton on a hot roller. Got a little greedy and gave some back so i had to win it back on Blackjack. Was up 108 when i left the table, 327 when I left the casino. Hopefully it works when i go to Vegas this summer. Thanks Jeremy!
This is awesome, I always hated hearing the “odds is the best bet in the house” line because it just felt like throwing money away (even if I understand the math of it). Having a way to benefit from odds without breaking the bank and still having some play for hot streaks is a huge pop!
Avg. 7 out in my casinos is 3-5 rolls. One long shooter doesn't make up for all the rest that lose. Any strategies that you can pull out after 3-4 rolls?
Great low budget strategy, especially for newbies trying to learn the game. Can learn how to move around the table for cheap, and a $30 profit after playing for a half hour is worth the fun. Everyone want's to win big but being able to stay on a table for some time and not walk away under is always a win.
I think I'll start using this for all the random rollers I see here in Vegas. I like using regression strategies to get out of the hand quickly, but I'm leary of the large initial outlay with the random shooters.
My wife and I tried this strategy tonight for a few hours but it hurt us more than it helped us. We think it’s a cool strategy and it can certainly help minimize losses, but we kept getting hurt by all the 6s and 8s getting rolled on the field bet. Not enough other numbers getting rolled so ultimately we lost money. I really did like this strategy though and I will likely try it again tomorrow.
just depends on how the dice roll. i guess the good thing about a 6/8 being rolled and field loss, is now your pass line bet is on a great number...but again, that doesn't matter if dice do not cooperate and roll those good numbers again.
Played this strat at the Harrah's and turned a $300 bankroll to $760 (even with some loose betting like the Bonus game and some wild swings in the Field) - even went on a 15-20 shot heater before breaking it
Didn't work out. 7 and pso all day. Lucky if I hit 2 numbers even when i was rolling. Hit 11 then three 7's. Hit number then 7 out. Lost real quick was only me and another sometimes. Came back more people and lost even more.
I'm curious to try this with slightly different order instead of odds-collect-cover I'd want to try, take the risk to 39, +2units on 6/8-single odds and cover a number or cover 2 numbers-collect
This looks fun. Conservative but potential to get a lot of action, will give this a shot next time since I usually only see $15 and $25 tables in AC or PA.
Hey Jeremy, I think you have a winner. The only thing I may want to change is instead of $36 per shooter, maybe $51 per shooter, because at worst case scenario, I'd want enough for one Place bet. But as is, it's still a winner. BTW, Jeremy, I'm going to be in your neck of the woods two weeks from today. I'm traveling into Reno 6/17 and will be there until 6/21. Maybe you and I will be at the same craps table. Which casinos do you usually play at?
Hello. (Kind of newbie here). Question for you if you don't mind. At 22:22 you're rolling to establish a point, and you roll a 6. There were still chips on the "5" and "8" from before. What if, instead of rolling a 6, you would've rolled a 5 OR 8 to be the point, one of the two numbers with chips on them still? Would those chips on the 5 (or 8) paid anything as that 5 (or 8) would've been rolled to become the point, or were they not in play or some sort of "turned off"? Thanks.
So the tables by me or at least the ones that I've played recently allow me to do a $5 bet instead of a 15. With that said, would you modify this down to $12 per shooter strategy since it's 1/3 the original play?
How would it affect the strategy if, instead of $36, you risked $45. Played in the same way when the point is 4,9, or 10. You place the six and eight at $18, total $36. But, if you roll the 5,6, or 8 as a point, place single odds behind to try and win the Money back. It would cost more but roll in more often. Still very new to craps, but I think you could put $14 behind a point 5 roll. If not we would have to make it $16 for a $46 risk.
Jeremy how are you finding craps attracting new players? Seems to be going in the opposite direction where I am. The 2 closest casinos to me actually removed their craps tables. I'd say in the past 10 years it's gone from 3 tables, down to 1 table, down to roll-to-win, then nothing at all.
definitely think its regional. Data shows (in Nevada at least), profits at the dice table are up, and there are more tables than 40 years ago, and more tables came back after the 2020 fiasco.
Every craps table in the Chicagoland area is constantly packed. 10 people on a Tuesday at 11am kind of packed. But almost never see 2 tables open in the same casino here as well. Always 1 sitting empty with a full table right next to it
For me, I would by pass the odd bet on the point. Like you said, and every single dealer or Even craps players, will tell you everyone will 7 out. Not everyone will hit their point. Wouldn't that make you more of a chance to get even or might even make more profit? Just wondering.
Assume all the Place numbers get covered. Why not do that whole collect, press, collect, on the Pass Line odds bet, before sweetening the place bets? Or, if it's a REAL monster roll, add a Come bet to the mix, and build odds on that, too?
Don't see why you would play field after point hits when you already got the money you need on the 6 and 8...🤷♂️🤷♂️ Don't waste 15 and just use that to bet a number once point is established. If point would be 9, you could put that 15 on 5 and have 4 numbers covered basically... Or use the 15 for odds bet after point established, especially if it's 6 or 8, then move your bet from whatever point is to 5 or 9... Just some thoughts
Also, two sevens around 18:15 which you already had 5, 6, & 8 covered. Instead of betting field for no reason, you just bet pass and would have made $30 instead of nothing...👍👍
I love how you defeat the strategies you demonstrate almost every time. It’s like you’re jinxed or something. We need a long roller here. Oh, 7 then another 7 followed by an 11! Oh well!
The 6 or 8 place bet gives the house a 1.52% edge, whereas a field bet gives the house a 5.50% edge. More simply, the 6 or 8 is more likely to be rolled than the numbers in the field (5, 6 or 8 are the most probable and, therefore not field numbers), and it will pay better 7:6 vs 1:1 (2 or 12, 2:1). A field bet by itself is a "sucker's bet." This is why he's pairing with the pass line for the comeout roll.
Not because it just happened to work out in your first 2 live rules, but I would have took the $6 and put it on the 7 anyway. I do every new shooter, and then I parlay that 7. And hope for a big win half the time. You'll get a 77
Not sure why you are re-playing the Field after hitting a point. As you said at the beginning, the only goal for the Field is to get you the extra to place your first two box numbers. If you have those after hitting the point, wouldn't it be better to just save it and replace your odds after a new point is established?
The field bet is unnecessary... And you are actually increasing the numbers that lose to get a push on 7 you only lose 15 on 5 6 8 but still... If you are going to play a strategy like this you should always cover 6 and 8 even if it costs a bit more
It annoys me so much when someone like this guy says " 4 the hard way! " or " 10 the hard way! " its literally the exact same odds of hitting " 3,1 for 4 as it is 2,2 " so with " craps lingo " already being annoying it also doesn't make sense in those scenarios
Ive found that not to be true at all. A lot of times you get three numbers working, and with 2 hits you have a profit. sometimes you only get one or no hits, and others multiple, but if anything its a pretty slow burn, not a fast dwindle
Dwindling means it won't be fast at all, which is the point of low roller strategies. Lose money slowly so you remain alive for the monster roll when it comes
Well your average roll was 10 and you never hit a 5, 6, or 8 on the come out which would have left you with basically a pass line 15 dollar bet. This was one of those times the dice rolls made the strategy look good but its not going to do that often.
