Currently my favorite track off the album. It’s clean and predictable but in the best way possible. Sometimes less is more and this track progressed in a way that gave me exactly what I wanted. Beautifully written and performed.
Same for Rain! Both were kinda overlooked with how crazy pretty much every other track on the album is, but these two are absolute BANGERS and catchy as fuck!

I agree 110 % this is so beautiful and haunting. It's like he's trying to let a memory go but it won't let him do he's begging to either let go or take me with you. Then on rain it's like something or someone else finally got his attention and at that point he's finally letting go of what he's been chasing and grieving for all this time. At least that is what I get from those songs
I love so many things about Sleep Token and one thing is their influence from Depeche Mode. You can clearly hear it in the synth melodies and synth patches used. Also in some chord progression and transitions. This is by far the best album I´ve heard in many years. Truly stunning

Honestly, the best part of this album is having your mind, body, and whole ass soul blown by the new tracks only to then remember all of the singles that are in this album that we'd already heard that already blew our minds, bodies, and dark souls and then you just... friggan ascend. And the way this album ends and calls back to their first, completing the cycle... just... wow
One of my faves from the album. Gives me High Water vibes. The way it starts out simple then that weird trap like beat comes in followed by the big epic ambient guitar section. Perfection.

Like I LOVE Ascensionism and Take Me Back To Eden and Euclid, but this song and Rain are the ones I HAVE to listen to repeatedly every time they come on. The cadence in the beginning and the chorus reminds me of like... Spanish music if that makes sense? Idk, like I could imagine this song with Spanish lyrics. Someone called this song Alkaline 2.0 (in a positive way) and I gotta agree, except its actually Long Enough for me lmao this song keeps getting slept on by most of the reactors I've seen and I'm starting to think they're just using bad headphones and not actually HEARING the song bc I know the first time I listened I couldnt use my good earbuds and I feel like when I was able to use my good earbuds, it elavated my experience of the song even more

Another track that I love, it works its way under your skin, from that opening vocal and gentle guitar, to the horror film haunted ice cream van (which makes me smile every time I hear it), to the almost-spoken lyrics, anthemic full band sound and the closing notes - and it sits there, under your skin, until the next time you hear it. Yeah Rapper Vessel is ALIVE in the latter half of the album! Since the album release I constantly go back and forth between this and Ascensionism being my favorite. When the synths come out to play, you know its about to go down! I definitely agree with you about the mixing and layers on this album. That’s a element thats always been great with ST but its just phenomenal on this album!
