You know the damage Ghana has done on Nigerian by destroying Nigerian name with their media . Ghanaians going around the world telling European and Americans that Nigerian is bad people , Ghana chase away Nigerians in 1969 when Nigeria was having civil war and take over Nigerians business then but Ghana economy has problem 1970s so millions of Ghanaians move to Nigeria and working there so Nigeria need to pay them back of evil they did to Nigerians in their country so Nigeria kicked them out of Nigeria ,that is how Ghanaians go around telling people that Nigerians are bad people.

I'm a Nigerian but seriously people need to know that a city isn't necessarily great simply because of its skyscrapers. Historically most European cities don't even harbor skyscrapers like their American and Asian counterparts, yet they are some of the most developed countries.
Accra is located on a fault like of earthquake and therefore there's a limit to the number of skyscrapers that can be built and how high it could get. DYR
Please kindly stop comparing cities based on the numbers or levels of skyscrapers.

KICC in Nairobi which was built in 1973 at 28 storeys and standing at 100 metres is now not even in the top 10 of tallest buildings in Nairobi. I am still wondering why Ghanaians imagine Accra can be compared to Nairobi. Even the views are not that great from up that building. If you guys want to be truthful or factual,Abuja is a new planned city.
When was Abuja created? Who doesn't know, it's more planned?
The only thing some people need to understand is,just because government made it a priority to sell Ghana to the world, doesn't mean we should receive hate.
Any country can do what Ghana did! The fact that Accra has it problems doesn't mean I shouldn't be a proud ghanaian.
I will not come and insult you or laugh at Nigerian because of it issues, same way i won't allow anyone to look down on my country.
The peace will ruin when we all learn to respect each other, this internet hate, is getting out of hand.

We are truly envied for being a small country yet highly respected across the world because of our historical greatness. It was ghana that set the course for independence across the entire sub-saharan region. We are special hence the black star in our flag. All African countries admire us. Ghana is developing and has made some strides in the last decade. Skyscrapers are great but they don't define "beauty" or "development".
For Ghana, the cultural heritage and historic sites as well as the feel good African vibe are the main features.
Accra also has a concentration of neat and tall buildings (not skyscrapers) in the business district in airport city, etc. I think African tigress needs to visit those places. Also, part of the reason why Ghana's buildings are not as tall is because the business districts are all on a flight path. Poor planning, yes, but it is what it is.
For Ghana to have skyscrapers, they need to create a new business district in Accra or a new purposely built city like Abuja.
The video was also shot in harmattan, hence the dried up greenery.

My fellow Africans citizens, why can we not celebrate the unique beauty of Ghana for what it is. Accra is making great strides to improve itself and if this momentum is sustained, Accra will be on the same level of development as other great cities on the continent. Admittedly, there is a lot of work to be covered but the signs are encouraging. Can we all just celebrate that PLEASE. This dick-measuring behaviour that we exhibit here are counter productive. Well organised, reasonably clean cities like Joburg, Nairobi, Kigali, Harare, Abuja etc should not see themselves as the having it all. They too need to improve their standard. Accra, Kampala, Lusaka etc should learn from these relatively more developed cities. As Africans, we should set ourselves standards, our own African standards. For instance Kigali, Capetown, Algiers should be seen as the very minimum standard in terms of cleanliness. Cities in Southern Africa should be emulated by other cities in terms of how a city should be organised (layout, public transport etc).

@@kwmalin9169 Relatively speaking, its an emphatic YES, those cities are clean and organised compared to most African cities. Harare, Nairobi and Joburg for instance can hold their own even against some European cities in terms of being properly laid out, in terms of land zoning, in terms building inspectorate, in terms city by laws. The urban planning in these 3 cities is way better compared to cities like Lisbon, Madrid, Rome etc. Some of the European cities have had to, in the last 20 or so years, take drastic mitigatory measure to correct the chaotic situations I their cities. The three said African had the benefit of being planned after 1920's, compared to some these old European cities which were built in 1800's and 1700's. SO, YES Nairobi, Harare, Abuja, Joburg and Kigali are well Organised and clean compared to other cities in Africa. And is it not a fact that Kigali is cleaner than New York?

Nigerians are only reacting to the true reality of Ghana which has been so hyped up by Ghanaians online like... for example, ...saying Accra is better than Lagos, Abuja, Nairobi, Kampala, Lome, and other African cities.
