He is a good salesman. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8, but I am thinking about saving up money and selling it for an A90 Supra. The only BMW cars I really like are the E36 M3 and Supra, and recently, the G82 M4. However, this F82 M4 is also beginning to grow on me. I never thought I would like BMW cars. 348 horsepower in my car was good to experience, but I am ready for the next level. I use my rear seats for my backpacks and trunk for groceries. That is my only concerned about the new Supra. The F82 M4 is literally 1 inch longer than my Genesis Coupe, but I think it is much wider. It is also around the same weight. Basically, similar size with a much better engine that can handle torque. I think I would like to drive an F82 M4, but I am not sure what to look for in the future when it comes to mileage. The next car I am aiming for is a Supra or F82 M4 though. Supra is my favorite among all of the current releasing cars right now. C8 Corvette and G82 are out of the question because they are expensive.
Great review and commentary. Sooooo glad I bought my F82 Comp. in late 2019 before prices shot up. I have loved every mile (many Austin - California road trips) and average around 27 mpg. Totally agree that it is extremely drivable and versatile. Go from a passive comfortable city car to a monster at push of a button. Love the S55 and I have it modified it to my liking (but I can’t stop….Mishimoto goodies on the way ;)
Hi, I’ve been eyeing two m4s. One is a 15’ non-comp with 59k miles going for $41k pre-tax, the other is a 17’ comp with 31k miles going for $51k. The 17’ comp is better equipped with tanzanite blue, m suspension, Apple car play, perf spec. Which do you think I should go to? Thanks!
If you have the money for it I’d go for the 17, or even try to find an LCI 18. I have a 17 non comp and i still wish i went for LCI comp. The comp will hold its value better and 17+ will also hold its value over a 15. So i would say it’s all based on your ability to afford the more expensive one. Personally i think getting the exact one you want is the way to go or you’ll always wish i would have later down the road
I have a base m4 78k for sale, 2 accidents on the carfax but has been looked over for inspection and good to go. You think 36k is asking too much based on the history? The car runs amazing so I'm only taking a hit based on the history.
Hey, 100% i would say that’s too high. Base, higher mileage, and 2 accidents would have that in the low 30’s in my eyes. Clean title base models are currently going for anywhere between 36-43k ish, with around 50k miles. Every market is different so i can only speak to mine, but doesn’t hurt to try and get as much as possible! Can always come down on the price
It holds up great! No issues or complaints. I am only at 39k miles, bolt ons since 30k so i will say launching Ofcourse is a lot harder but that just comes with it being manual, i think the DCT can hold more power, but manual trans i believe holds just fine up till 750+. I think the best way to decide is what you are going for. Dct is Ofcourse better for traffic areas, it’s quicker Ofcourse and allows you to spread the gearing out. Manual is just more fun IMO
@@UnworthyMotors that’s great to hear. I love the sound of the single turbo on these M4’s. Makes the S55 sound glorious. But that would be way down the line. Thanks for the info!

So the M2 body is one of my Favorite just for how tight and small it is. I tend to lean towards that more of a track warrior. But i wouldn’t go M2 Base as it comes with the slightly tuned N55. The N55 is a great motor but has its limits. Between the M2 base and the M4 there is no competition solely based on the power plant of the s55 in the M4. They are at totally different levels and on my head the M2 base is a great car if you don’t want to step into the real M class power plant of the S class motors. But if you have the money to make up the difference, the M4 or the M2 comp would be the better comparisons as they both come with the S55 motor
That would be a good deal outside of being a ‘15. Typically the 15’ model was significantly cheaper. I think you may have over paid slightly even in this market. But, the manuals are hard to find, so if that was your ideal spec, it may have been a spec that doesn’t come around very often
I have a 21 Altima but I am debating on jumping into the Beamer world. I looked at the 340i and the m3 it would be my daily but I hear mixed reviews on the older bmws. I live in charlotte what do u suggest as far as the m3 vs the m340i?
Depends what your preference is, if you want a car that’s biggest bang for buck, you can’t beat the M340i. It’s also a bat out of hell in a straight line and you can make it just as fast in a straight line as an M car. It’s also a lot cheaper and parts are a lot cheaper. The M car gets you a few nice features and such but the biggest is handling, the M car is meant to perform in the corners both on the track or mountain roads. So if you just want a quick commuter that comfortable, nice and can get it in a straight line, the M340 is by far the easy choice. If you want a car that will handle at top performance and you have the extra money to spend on it within your budget and can afford parts that are easily 25-50% more expensive just because they are “M parts”, then go with the M3. Both overall can be amazing daily’s, just depends on your budget and use focus. 90% of people, the M340i will do everything you need it to and more. The M car really just brings handling in to the picture
I just checked and M4s in UK have definitely hit the bottom and are rising. But I think this is natural appreciation. You can't get the new G80 m3/4 is manual in right hand drive. USA feels like a bubble right now with cars and real estate. Definitely time to be selling.
Im looking at a 2015 f82 m4, in my dream spec, mineral grey metallic, white interior, has every package for 46k with 47k miles, do you guys think i should pull the trigger or is it high mileage?
I wouldn’t say 47k is high mileage. I would say over 65k would be considered high mileage but these cars still do well over time and i wouldn’t let the miles scare you. You also have to think about how long you plan to keep it. If you plan to have it for a few years and move on then i def wouldn’t let it bother you. If you plan to keep it for decade plus, I’d look for a lower mileage one. Not a bad price though
Do you see an 18 f80 comp and exec pack 30k miles , FBO in perfect condition for 60k to be fair or overpriced ? I'm seeing a lot of normal M3 for around 48-55k but comp and exc seem to be right around 57-63k on average. Were around mid -high 60's months ago
Yea that’s pretty fair, non comp would be 50’s and comp into the 60k+ range with that low of miles fully loaded. 60k would be fair in my eyes, really any comp LCI fully loaded under 40k miles under 60k is a gem

In my opinion its really bad if you're buying M car and the only thing you worrying about - profit when its time to sale it Got my m4 f82 a month ago, that's the best car I ever had. Emotions are the key, not money. There are no pockets under the ground.
It’s resale value isn’t the only thing im worried about. But the majority of people don’t have money growing on trees. It’s a very common understanding that you don’t buy high and sell low in any situation in life. So if there is a bubble and by waiting 6 months you can save 10k, my advice would be to wait and learn self control so you make a smarter financial decision on a sports car which is a “want” not a “need”. So your point is valid but you are not including any context. Also, if you bought an f82 a month ago. You also bought it now that they are back down. When i made this video, the average f82 price was 20% higher. So check the context behind it. Thanks for watching!
@@UnworthyMotors Yep, i think I took it just exactly on top of the market and its fine for me because in couple years it will be super hard to find stock f 82 with low milage, plus I was hunting for yas marina blue color, which is also will be impossible in couple years if its your dream - go for it, otherwise you can miss this option not because of the money thanks for your reply and have a great day :)
how soon do you think we'll see the market correcting? Been wanting to buy an M2 but man does the current pricing for good used examples leave a lot to be desired.
Well, i think we are already seeing it start to move over the top of the curve. I’m no expert in economics but the talk is that we are heading towards recession and car prices should drop in the next few months
Hey! Thank you for watching! I would say i think that is a little steep on the price, only for the mileage, being north of 60k miles, it should be in the mid to upper 40’s around 46k range i would say. But if it’s the exact perfect spec, it may be worth it to you to pay a little extra!
Great review and valuable advice. I almost got a fully spec'd 2019 Yasmarina Blue but prices are way too steep at the moment. Definitely gonna start looking again towards the end of 2022. Amazing cars🙌
There has already been some of a drop since i made the video. I think into 2023 you’ll see a difference because the amount of people faulting on loans for cars they purchased is rising meaning the market will be filled with more cars and driving down rarity. But I’m not an economist so I’m only going off what I’ve researched

I would say it’s maybe a little over priced. Prior to the market spike that would have been a 58k car. So not terrible but the thing is, If it’s everything you want, it may be worth the extra to get it since finding one just like that and waiting could take a while. That’s why i paid a little more for mine even prior to the market spike because finding a yas marina in a 6 speed with black interior was not common.
@@UnworthyMotors thank you… right now Mercedes would be getting me out of my current lease 11 month early saving me about that 5500 I’m over paying so it seems I can either pay my car for another year and hope prices go down and rates go up or get rid of my car and the extra money I spent on the car was basically the same as keeping my Mercedes the remaining 11 months then getting a m. I got a 2017 m3 comp with executive package for 50k with 23k miles. Zero accidents. What do you think of this. I was looking for a 2018 but they were all high mileage (40-60k) going for about 53-60k.
That’s actually a good deal overall!
I'm going to whole out a good 2-3 years and see if the market pops and I will go and buy one that gives me time to get more promotions, increase my credit/ clean it up.
Lol cash only
He is a good salesman.
Aye Genny gang here too but one day I hope to get the a90 supra since that year is more tuneable
Love the S55 and I have it modified it to my liking (but I can’t stop….Mishimoto goodies on the way ;)
Thank you! That means a lot!! Keep on driving 🤟🏻
Did your 2017 come factory with the red push to start button or did you do that on your own ?
Nope i did that on my own! You can find the how to video in my first few videos with the M4!
Nice crank hub shill. That colour is stunning though!
Thank you!!
So I'm in the market for a M4, and weighing between DCT and manual. How does the clutch/transmission hold up to the modding? any issues?
@@Dx-qg9jm yeah single turbo is insane! A lot less reliable but insane from a build perspective. Ofcourse bro i am happy i could help! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! 🤙🏼
What do you think of the m2 base or the f80 m4? I'm stuck between the two.
So the M2 body is one of my
Favorite just for how tight and small it is.
Just grabbed a 15’ f80 6MT in sakhir orange off Carvana with 41k miles 50k$. What u think?
This must be a usa thing. In UK values are about the same as they were 2 years ago when I bought my m4 manual
Must be! The market in the US is crazy high. A typical 40k bmw is now valued around 55k. Market is starting to tip back down though.
I just checked and M4s in UK have definitely hit the bottom and are rising.
But I think this is natural appreciation. You can't get the new G80 m3/4 is manual in right hand drive.
USA feels like a bubble right now with cars and real estate. Definitely time to be selling.
Great video
Thank you!
@@UnworthyMotors thanks for the feedback
@@Jewnbug1 Ofcourse! I’m no expert, but it’s just my thoughts! Hope it helps!
Kinda late on the video , but ye , i found an ‘15 M4 base model austin yellow with 30k miles for 42k with LCI headlights upgrade (i live in Europe) what do u think should i go a head and buy it?

@@emre2421 i can’t speak to the euro market. That’s not a terrible deal in the US though. But the 15’ year usually went for a little lower. Seems fair if it was the US market
@@UnworthyMotors Euro market is pretty high also high milage m4's with 15-16 goes for around 37k+ , high milage means around 80-85k+ miles (130.000+km) , so ye

@@emre2421 yeah if it’s everything you want, might be worth it. We still have 16’ 17’ with 50k miles going for over 45k on some cases in the US
What do you think about a 2018 M4 F83 for $45k with 31k miles??
Solely based on those stats, it sounds inline with how it is here atleast on the east coast. The verts typically trend under the regular coupe though
Is this worth it, 2017 M4 competition 31k miles, manual transmission, for 49k before taxes and dealer fees
That’s not a bad price at all i think and it’s right around the exact specs mine had and near the same price.
@@UnworthyMotors Yea I still need to hold off a bit to have some time on my new job before getting approved for it. But I’m looking at trying to get into a low mileage example for around 45k-50k. Still debating on whether or not to go with the manual or the dct. My current vehicle is manual but it would also be my daily and sometimes you kind of wish you had an auto but most times you love the thing to death
In my opinion its really bad if you're buying M car and the only thing you worrying about - profit when its time to sale it
Got my m4 f82 a month ago, that's the best car I ever had.
@@UnworthyMotors Yep, i think I took it just exactly on top of the market and its fine for me because in couple years it will be super hard to find stock f 82 with low milage, plus I was hunting for yas marina blue color, which is also will be impossible in couple years
if its your dream - go for it, otherwise you can miss this option not because of the money
thanks for your reply and have a great day :)
I’m about to pull the trigger on a 16’ m4 with 78k miles for 40k, what do you think?
Fully optioned, which is what I want
There is other factors but it’s not totally over priced. Maybe by 5k or so
how soon do you think we'll see the market correcting? Been wanting to buy an M2 but man does the current pricing for good used examples leave a lot to be desired.
Well, i think we are already seeing it start to move over the top of the curve. I’m no expert in economics but the talk is that we are heading towards recession and car prices should drop in the next few months
@@UnworthyMotors gotcha. Well hopefully I’ll have a new (to me) M2 by the end of the year!

Do you guys think a 2018 m3 comp with 67k miles for 50k is a good buy?

@@vaee2xgaming there is too many factors for me to say
@@UnworthyMotors 😭😭😭*cries*
But the question is when will prices drop and will they even drop that much? I heard the earliest may be 2024--2025
There has already been some of a drop since i made the video. I think into 2023 you’ll see a difference because the amount of people faulting on loans for cars they purchased is rising meaning the market will be filled with more cars and driving down rarity. But I’m not an economist so I’m only going off what I’ve researched
@@UnworthyMotors I want to buy a 2021 M2 Competition. I think you're right. As the economy tightens up even more with the FED raising interest and unemployment going up into 2023, the used market will get flooded.

Prices are already starting to come down so sometimes it might be worth over spending a little for the right spec. Just depends how easy your ideal spec is to find again. For me, Yas Marina, carbon roof, and 6 speed was very very hard to find so i even overpaid for mine only because there was only 2 yas marinas in the country when i was shopping
Cars are extremely overpriced, but what if they get more overpriced? I see things getting worse before they get better IMHO
