Last song my mother and I listened to together before her passing in 1985. I was 16, she was just 38. I'll never forget it! Still brings me to tears. Beautiful!

This song is one of a kind but thanks to technology and resources like UA-cam, younger generations can discover and enjoy this music. It can also influence young artists and inspire them to incorporate this style into newer music.

I've heard this many times in the past, playing on a radio in a restaurant, from a passing car, over the in-store speakers of a store where i was shopping... always found it a catchy tune! Then, I discovered who sang it and the title... and the honorable tribute that it paid to talented singers like Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson... and knew that I must have a copy of it! What an incredible song it is, too! Good tempo, pleasant to hear on a summer day... just some really "feel good music!"

Heavenly. Music such as this cannot be improved upon, at least not within this Earthly paradise.

In '85, a guitarist, and leader of 3 bands over the years, told me that the bass part was the whole song.

I'm quietly very happy that this nice and really cool song found its way to meaning something personally significant, to me: playing on the radio during my last shift at a favorite job with lots of great people.

Lost my dad some weeks ago and I appreciate this song and many more from this era. I also appreciate the awesome work and high quality production these artists and engineers put into this song. It is so clear after just about 40 years. Unbelievably well put together. If there is a "sky daddy" I hope to see my people again.
