I listened to it again, it just gets better - I'm going to share it this week with my coworker on the B dock, a 72 yr. old brother/afficianado rocker, I know he'll love it! Wow! Any major dude will tell you ladies that this cover is absolutely fantastic. This is one of the best covers I ever heard of any song, and I'm NOT Exaggerating.

I bought the album this came from back in 1973 been a Dan fan ever since, this is my favourite song of theirs, it takes me back to my teens and the joy of finding a new band and a great new tune and playing to death, still play it to death and wow what a great cover. I am glad it introduced me to your own music, its a thumps up from sleepy Totnes in the very west of England!!
Been playing SD since meeting them 1967 and their cutting edge music ever since. Often taking me decades to wrap my head around it. At 70, still catching up. But you guys NAILED IT. Absolutely flawless execution. Just subscribed and will enjoy and ahare all your work. Love you. BobbyD

Never good to do a new version of a song unless you're going to actually ADD something to to it, change it in some way. This version does that - a more laid back feel, due to the vocal and rhythm section.

WOW why? she only sings over a track , she doesn't plays any of those instruments, the only different thing that you hear is her voice the rest is a profesionally recorded song by musicians and in that regard she has an average voice not a WOW voice .
What is interesting is that she took a lot of job seting a scene , that is the WOW factor in the video, maybe she is better as a filmamaker than a musician, in case that she did the filming , something that I really doubt too .

While this is clearly a cover of the band Ivy's version of "Only a Fool Would Say That" from the soundtrack of the 2000 film "Me, Myself and Irene" (which included 8 cover versions of Steely Dan songs), it doesn't change the fact that this recording is off the charts great!
