Hello Doc, I'm a relatively experienced Satisfactory player. You bring me the joy we all experience as new players. I wish I could forget everything I know so I can enjoy it again from scratch. Your passion for the game is refreshing. Keep going mr Doc!

Well thanks! It's an incredibly interesting and fun game. I'm glad you enjoy hanging out with me while I learn the game. Somehow I'm around 200 hours in and I still feel like such a newbie at it!

Hey Doc! With Update 8 of Satisfactory, you can press H while having a blueprint equipped to "Lock Hologram", with the blueprint locked (but not built) you can nudge it around with your arrow keys. Once you're happy with the position of it, you left-click and voila!
Love your content! :) Keep it up

I've been watching some great tutorials on how to build in Satisfactory and I used one of the principles taught in this video. I'll tell you a bit more about it and link you to it in the next video. Thanks for watching!

If you want to fully commit to a certain Blueprint doing only one thing, you can set the constructors in your blueprint maker to do plate. If you do that in the blueprint it will save the settings on the machines :)
I'm loving how this factory is turning out, I'm building something quite similar!

Interesting. And after saving the Iron Plate blueprint, I could just change their output and re-save as something else. One blueprint per item... Good idea! Thanks for the tip.

@@Gaming_with_Doc Another way to speed up configuration when using blueprints without set recipes is to use good old Copy/Paste. Set the recipe and production rate on one machine, back out of the configuration screen, highlight the machine and hit Ctrl-C. Then aim at the other ones one by one and just paste the settings with Ctrl-V. The game stores one configuration for each machine type in memory, so this method works even if there are multiple types like smelter and constructors.

I like that. So I can get one blueprint perfectly optimized with underclocking / overclocking set. Great tip! thanks!
