Warwick Castle is England’s most spectacular castle, with a lush, grassy moat and fairy-tale fortifications. This medieval masterpiece, which has been turned into a virtual theme park, is historic and fun, and may well be Britain's most kid-friendly experience. U should be proud ur country is such a beautiful. I'm from Poland and I love ur country too😍🐄
FANTASTIC PLACE !!
I live about half an hour away. If you ever visit, I recommend combining this castle, which is more of a theme park type experience (great for kids btw) with Kenilworth Castle, which is just 12 miles to the north. Kenilworth Castle was partially destroyed in 1649 during the English Civil War but most of the walls are still standing. Most of the structures are a little bit older and show a different aspect of English history, as well as a different architecture style as it was built earlier and with red sandstone. Kenilworth is great if you want to learn about that period of English history, but not as good for kids as it doesn't have a 'theme park' feel like Warwick does.
Awsome!
Very nice. When I visited there in 1971 it was very different, no museum or public demonstrations of archery etc. We did get to walk up one of the towers and I remember a very nice rose garden with peacocks walking around.
Visit it once, it’s gorgeous
Beautiful!
Thank you for showing us Warwick Castle, very interesting and historical, Wayne
Amazing art work, breath taking.
Amazing
Love this! I’ve also read your guide book! We will be visiting this castle in a few days!❤️
I want to see that place too...someday❤
I don't think they used any footage from it since the modern structure differs so much from the way it would have looked in the late 15th century, but it was mentioned much on "The White Queen" because the earl of Warwick featured prominently in the War of the Roses.
Warwick castle is nice. UK has lots of preserved castles
thx for great video!
Cool Video
Amazing!!! Beautiful place England thank you Sir. for sharing your videos God bless you 😍👍 From Nagaland
Is this the Castle where The Haunting of Bly Manor was filmed from Netflix?!
Probably
I was here last year, but only for about 2 hours, which really isn't enough time - it was only about enough time to walk around the ramparts, climb up to the top of the towers and explore the dungeons - next time I'm going longer
Woooww🤗🤗
I am impressed that the lords of the Castle decided to retain the "old" flavour of the place. Who can live in these huge places now? "White Elephants" as my grandma would call them. She was right. Just the taxes on such a place could crush anyone!
Good channel from sri lanka
It's a rick steve's post card and a very lucky no. too! 2:22 or should I say a very lucky no. TWO!
First! Im watching one of your vids now on turkey...LOL!
Just a small correction Rick: the Earl of Warwick sold the castle in 1978 for £2.5 millions and buggered off to Australia. It's owned by Madame Taussauds now...
Did he emigrate to evade debt repayments?
It's actually owned by Merlin Entertaiments.
I'm having a deja-vu moment here..
And how about old Wardour Castle?
Ah, the superior siege engine
good

guys did richard neville, earl of warwick lived here?
the "kingmaker"? I believe so, at least partially. His daughter Anne was born there. The Nevilles also used Middleham Castle, possibly more extensively. In the TV show "The White Queen", Anne claims that she and her new husband Richard the Duke of Gloucester are going to live in it, but I think that might have been a deviation from the real story, as Richard is recorded as having forfeited his and Anne's claim to her father's lands to get George the Duke of Clarence, Anne's guardian and spouse of her sister Isabel, to agree to the marriage. But who knows, there was so much backstabbing and sibling rivalry ending up a lot of the time in imprisonment or execution during the War of the Roses era. One of Isabel's children died at Warwick Castle, so that seems to support the contention that Anne and Richard did not return there as the TV show says but lived around Middleham Castle, the other ancestral home of the Nevilles.
Last video one question sir but you're not reply
Zoil
My ancestors owned this castle
This was the Castle in Downtown Abbey when the sister Edith got married
I like to go to warwick castle but Iam on universal credit so it is so unfair to people like me, that these places are too expensive to see!!
