This song waited 1250 years for a metal singer to provide the power its message deserved. Best version I will ever hear.

Written by a former slave ship captain, named John Newton a British Poet.. he found God during a storm at sea.. Became a very High member of the Church and was implemental in the Abolition of Slavery Act.. This hymn waited 250 years to be sung buy Dan with the Praise and Passion John meant to convey.. Loud and Proud.. I can only hear this version in my head when it is played in Church now.. makes it hard to sing it in the old way
