Thanks so much for checking with Antique paperie and Erv design. You will never know how thankful I am to be able to freely use their papers. I had quit buying them because I was afraid I would accidentally use it in one of my “for sale” journals. THANK YOU!!!

OMG Gayle! You need to do the videos as long or as short as you want! We can pause you and come back or even put you on 2x speed! Personally I don’t know what to do without a full hour of my UA-cam BFF! I can’t imagine doing videos and being as entertaining and informative as you are. You are awesome and glorious in your full hour! I watch because you are real- your not scripted and stiff or boring with no mishaps. You are real and you are a phenomenon! Stay true to yourself and to your creativity- trust it!

Hi Gayle, was so delighted to find this shorter video. I am a longtime fan and am not being negative . However, no longer have the advantage of being able to watch the longer videos as often. Not asking you to change, just know I miss you and am glad to find one I have time to watch. Remember, please, that you have a wide range of subscribers and we all love you and want to watch also. Hugs and thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to this series and so I can’t wait to see what comes next! Complainers are just never happy, you do what you want to do! You are such a sweet person for always trying to make your subbies happy! Who cares if it disintegrates, we probably won’t be around to see it happen! Does anything last forever....Gayle, you do what makes you happy! If Gayle is happy, we all are happy! So have a great day! Thanks for sharing! ❤️

I love you and your videos and I subscribed to your channel because you seem like just the sweetest person. You are so lovely to share your knowledge and experiences in the world of junk journals and mixed media art. I appreciate your kind and gentle manner and your laugh is infectious. The world would be a better place if it were filled with Gayle Agostinellis and had fewer Snarky Snarkertons who never learned to not say anything at all if they don't have anything nice to say. Thank you for sharing with us and thank you for being you!

Love that fabric, Gayle. I did the same with one of my first journals. I used fabric from my old curtains and it turned out very well. I like the fact that the thicker material reinforces the cardboard , yet the journal remains lightweight and flexible. Good to have you home safe and sound. Say G'day to Mr A. for me. Hope you are both well. Veronica x

I am happy you are doing a cover series! I don't blame you for being over cautious with your sewing machine, but glad you got it back and they could fix it for you. I have been collecting handmade journals for 20 years now. They are made out of may different materials, but most have a cardboard base. Some are covered with handmade paper and some are just painted on the cardboard. They have held up very well for me, but keep in mind that I bought them to display instead of use. I'd still guess if I used them that they would hold up just fine....

I found how to send you a comment. Every morning I wake up and know there will be a video from my favorite creator of junk journals. Because of your great videos I was able to make a journal for my daughter when you moved to a new town. And was making another journal with more of your top ten / twelve favorite things that go in your journals. When I got a message from my friend that she is going to be a grandmother for the first time. The baby shower is in August and instead of a card the mother to be wants everyone to buy a book for the baby. She is having a girl. Well I decided I would make her a golden book journal. It was meant to be, because l found the golden book Good Little, Bad Little Girl. The title reminded me of the mother to be, since I watched her grow up. Since she lived across the street from us until she got married. Thank you for your wonderful videos and great personality. You make me laugh everyday.

Hi Gayle! And, yes, I ditto what others said about length of your videos and not to pay attention to any negative comments. Stay just the way you are! You are such a breath of fresh air, willing to help others as they learn new things, supporting them in their business start up and reaching out to them to make sure that your subbies are happy campers! :) Your humour is a delight, especially your comment about steerage while flying to Florida LOL..I have heard it called 'cattle class'.
I am excited to seem more journal cover videos! Wheeeee... I created a number of them based on your fabric one where you used fabric tack and the 9x12 envelope. This video looks like the cover goes together soooo much faster. That is NEXT on my list of things to try. :)
Cheers and thanks again for all you do for others.

I’d love a beginning sewing video. I used to sew my daughter’s clothes when she was young but I haven’t sewn in ages. JoAnn’s had a sale on Singer sewing machines about a year ago and I bought one of the bare bones models and it’s been in the box since. I think I’m afraid of it. 😂 With your help, I might be able to make it a worthy purchase. So yes please. Oh....and when I begin a sentence with “so”, my kids and grandkids know I’m going to be asking a difficult question - they hate hearing “so”. Makes me laugh of course.

Hi Gayle, I love the fabrics you chose for the cover. Have you ever thought of sewing the two pieces together with right side together? then slide your cardboard in it. Then all the seams would be inside, you wouldn't have fraying then. You could also then sew around the edges for decoration. It is just a thought. TFS

Enjoyed the video and love the choice of cover. I have an old sewing machine called the Rocketeer and it will sew through leather and I'm sure it will sew through cardboard but its in a cabinet and I don't have the space to set it up, maybe someday. Thanks for the share!

The good thing about using cereal boxes is that they're food grade and probably a higher quality than ordinary cardboard.
