i believe that more often than not if someone sees a person less fortunate than them who may need a bit more help than most they will give them the help they need. some people will even go above and beyond in helping these people.

Years later I was told about cutting corners a family member cut the corner of the bills so he knows what bill he is handling out. I wonder if people have problems with over charges on credit cards.
I was a cashier at a local convience store and sometimes would give me a lot of 1's saying it's this much or that much..... I'd still count it and return the extra. I learned you just can't take someone's word for it. It could be less than what they say or it could be more.
As a cashier I've been in that situation once. I did not correct him because I didn't want him to feel bad especially since there were other customers behind him. But I DID give him the correct change.

The barman wasn't just honest, but obviously trained/experienced enough, because he didn't just give back or count out the change, he stated what bill he was giving, in what order, so when the guy puts the cash back in his wallet, he knows what's at the front and what's in the back. It seems a very small things, but for blind/visually impaired people, it makes a pretty big difference.
I'm surprised that US currency doesn't have something Braille like on the bills for the visually impaired. It might also help the elderly. God knows they're a nightmare to be behind in line standing there looking all confused as if they've never been in a grocery store before.
I love seeing these. The stealing ones are funny, but messed up. But it does make me feel good to see the ones that do the right thing. I hope if it was done a million times, that the large majority would be the right thing, but sadly, I'd guess it's around 60-70% of people doing the RIGHT thing.
1 guy came into my gas station before high and drunk af, bought some munchie snacks and handed me a $100 and I cash him out and it was only like $10 for everything and walked out before I even handed him his change of $90 bucks back and you know what I did? I pocketed that shit and helped my mom out with groceries and bills, I didn’t use it for selfish reasons at all I was 18 and I don’t care anybody but my family and I’d do that shit again if it meant helping my family
Some cabbies dont have change, and it happens when you have a back to back customer. I drove a cab before and stuff like that happens a lot, you start with a fifty dollars change and by the end of your shift you dont have enough change to give, especially on busy days. Im not saying its the right thing, but shit happens.
