Also, I don’t tend to take notes on my sources… which I know is not the answer you want to hear… in general I research, listen, watch and find patterns… that being said, The Highwire is great about citing their sources… also, the infamous Robert Kennedy just released a documentary called “the real dr Fauci” and they present fascinating information… just allow yourself to go down wormholes and when something strikes you, research it more… one piece of content can often lead to another as well because people reference things….confirm (or disprove) the information to the best of your ability… also, read vaxx inserts…slowly a picture will be painted of what you believe to be true.

In Canada it is legal in most cases to grow your own flower for personal use but if you are going to sell it you need special licenses just like if you were to sell any food or alcohol product
Hi! Canadian here! We can grow up to four cannabis plants per household. However, they do want you to get your seeds from the Government’s legalized dispensaries. It’s pretty relaxed and I think we’re also allowed to have up to 30 grams on our person at any time - although I don’t know many people walking around with that much weed 😂! As someone who uses cannabis to sleep, the rules and regulations around cannabis here have been improving at least.
We don't have the same views - but I appreciate that because I enjoy hearing your perspectives. You share in a way that isn't shoving conservative views down someones throat. I think it is important to be open minded to both sides and apply that to your life in ways that work well for you and your family. So thank you (:

Hey Nikki! Been following your videos for about a decade now and always love how kind and positive you are! As a “far left liberal” who has (somewhat) opposing views on most of these mentioned political, medical and religious views, I admire and respect you sharing openly and standing up for your beliefs! I feel as if we’ve lost a lot of compassion as a society and are quick to defend. Many of our choices and opinions are influenced by our environment, life experiences, and personal growth so I’m always striving to understand the WHY for people, especially if it’s a different or new perspective…without expectations (: I’ve learned so much from having more of these conversations over the past few years and can almost always find common ground about something! Fun fact for you, in Canada we can legally have 4 cannabis plants per household, and we can “share” (not sell) up to 30grams of grown cannabis with legal age adults. These days, what is meant by "conservative Christian" is usually someone who holds several of these beliefs: Being against abortion, against women preachers, against a queer lifestyle, and against modern feminist concepts of gender and equality. In America, it seems that patriotism, republicanism and an anti-vaccine stance are often mixed in as well.
I am not saying this is what Nikki is! Just giving you a general definition.
I've watched your videos for a really long time, and even though I have different views on some issues, I really enjoy your content! I love your positive attitude and the food and cozy home and lifestyle content. I believe we all can learn from one another and everyone would benefit if people did more listening with an open mind.

Drew and I also seem to FEEL like we function as egalitarians even though that’s not our theology. I think we just agree on so many things that it feels egalitarian when it’s really not. And the things we disagree on I don’t really have a strong feeli mg about- I like florida but he’s not feeling it so we probably won’t be staying there for instance. If I really had my heart set on it I bet he would stay there because he loves me, but I’d rather not make him bear the heat if he doesn’t love it.

It seems to me like Egalitarians think that Complementarianism is oppressive, as if oppression is inherent in it. I don't see it that way, I'm more complementarian, like I agree with the little you mentioned here about men and women are different, and have different roles. "Roles" doesn't have to mean man works outside the home and woman in the kitchen kind of thing. There have been times when my mom was the main cook for the family, and other times when it was my dad - they just made sure the kids were fed, which was the important thing. It seems to me that Dan isn't overbearing in his headship. It sounds to me like you two have a good balance. You respect and trust him, he loves you and values your input. I think it really helps that you two have an expectation of growing together, that you two have an openness about what you envision and want for life. I think it's great.

I've got an assumption for you: you're too old for new fashion trends. I've noticed that many youtubers/influencers that are 20 something or younger follow new fashion trends, while youtubers/influencers that are 30 something or older don't follow them and are often outfit repeaters.

100%! I was going to say that as well. Most people haven’t read a single insert, can’t tell you what the ingredients are and what those ingredients can do in the body. People blindly follow doctors and nurses, not realizing that doctors and nurses aren’t taught about the ingredients, but just what the pharmaceutical companies recommend as the schedule. It’s like the blind leading the blind, or more like the money leading the money.
Why would you assume that? It is just as likely that people who are pro vaccines have done just as much research.

Vaccines do not destroy your immune system and if it weren’t for the huge amount of progress with large quantities of people getting vaccines, we’d still be dying of polio, measles’s and mumps, the Black Plague would still be happening, & so on.
