    This machine works beautifully with just one exception. It does heat the water high enough for a nice hot cup of coffee. I have it at its highest heat setting and it still is not hot. A friend of mine bought one as well and he returned it for the same reason.

      Manual machines with a portafilter always tend to come out hotter. We did a video on temperature that shows that. You are correct, on some superautomatics people do not like the temperature.

      i preheat the Latte Glasses with water from the machine, then the milk stays hot.

    Thank you for the video and sharing information about this machine, since this machine makes both coffee and expresso is there an recommendations you can share regarding which coffee bean to use? Thanks again

      Always look for a dry bean, not a Starbucks French Roast or anything with a wet look to it. Will not do well in your grinder. Of course if you are in Canada, order our in house roasted I.XXI coffee :)

    Do you know why the latte crema machine doesnt come in White? Or will it be released in white any time soon?

    • @ecscoffeeinc
      @ecscoffeeinc  2 роки тому

      It is a supply chain issue likely but we have not heard it is coming in white.

    So many nice videos! Bit overwhelming. Any recommendation on a good entry-mid level espresso machine for the home kitchen?
    Thanks!

      If your looking for an automatic machine the Delonghi Dinamica is definitely a great choice. If you are with something a little more manual the Breville Barista Express is a great choice also.

    I just received this machine with the automatic milk frother bin and the milk coming from the system is barely warm. It is around 120 degrees and makes a lukewarm cappuccino. Delonghi told me this is how the machine is designed to operate. Is this the same experience you have had?

      @@ckirst8406 Issue isn't the coffee temperature. I had already tried that. It is the milk temperature that does not get warm enough and Delonghi was unable to help me get it any higher and said that luke warm milk is what is expected.

    We have a magnifica, had it for 6 years and think its on the way out. Is this machine quieter than the magnifica?

      @ecscoffeeinc  3 роки тому

      Tough to say. We did a video on noise but not sure if this would be quieter or not.

      @ecscoffeeinc  3 роки тому

      No it would not be.

    • @lucasrem
      @lucasrem 3 роки тому

      That would be the max i guess, you probably need a more capable machine for that.
      More suitable would be a machine that is connected to the tap water, bigger beans reservoir, faster operating time.

      There is a valve on the Latte Crema less machines that do the hand steaming of the milk.
      You can order the milk system on any DeLonghi machine, but it's not in the menu of making drinks, just a manual addon then.

    Too much automation. We use different amounts of milk but the machine doesn’t let us steam it longer for more. “It will grind to the 4 out of 5 beans that I just hit”…what does that mean? “I would put it really strong but not as long…” What does that mean? You don’t say if we are supposed to hit multiple buttons in succession or wait for each one to complete a task. I want a double shot of coffee with only a small amount of water and haven’t figure out how to get that. I like about 8 Oz of milk steamed, then dump a double shot of espresso in with minimal water.

    • @ecscoffeeinc
      @ecscoffeeinc  Рік тому +1

      Hi James!
      It sounds like you're very frustrated with your machine. The beans represent strength, the more beans lit up the stronger the espresso shot. To get a double shot on this machine select full strength (if you want), then select the top left beverage option, then x2. You can also program the length of the espresso shot if you want it shorter than what the machine is preprogrammed to do. You can find how to do this in your user manual :)
