I think this destination it's my favorite so far, a great variety of flavors and they all look amazing

That parfait was absolutely gorgeous. I added strawberries to my grocery list after seeing it. The udon also looked fabulous. Thanks for showing us all the fantastic food, and you are a prince to us. 😊

That bridge was very cool! We have a big drawbridge here but it doesn't look as nice as that one. I can't pick a favorite out of all the foods, they all look so good. Especially the loco moco and the parfait. I think I'm going to gain a bit of weight when I visit Japan! 😄

I was in that same Makino 3 weeks ago, having maruten soba - delicious and very reasonable price. Currently living in Fukuoka and will aim to try as many of your Kyushu spots as I can.

wow! I can't help but remember when I went to Mojiko and had yaki curry! It was so good! I miss fukuoka. really want to go back there and complete south kyushu, beppu and Oita, and maybe make a return trip to kumamoto

I have never seen a Loco moco done with a soft-boiled egg before. Normally it's only sunny side up, or for me scrambled because I'm weird. Definitely not as effective but looked pretty. One of the fanciest Loco moco I've ever seen.😊

When I go to Japan I don’t buy souvenirs or go on tours or anything like that with my money.
I buy food.
This video makes me wish more restaurants in the West were brave enough to play themed background music instead of obnoxiously loud pop all the time.

Is it against common courtesy to pick up the ramen bowl with you're done and drink the rest of the broth? Not saying he should have done it, I'm just wondering if it's frowned upon.
On the contrary the chef will be pleased to see that you like the soup so much. But be aware of the amount of salt. I believe that's the only reason we leave the ramen soup (reluctantly).

You need to go to Hawaii to get some real, and juicy, Loco Moco, not that dried out wad of meat under an overcooked egg.
That 'Italian' food was a sad excuse for food.
