I suspect that most people can't begin to imagine what a life without eating animal products looks like. That's a major hurdle, because if you can't envisage it, then in your mind it's not going to be an option you have to choose from.

It's common sense to realize that the animals don't deserve to die for people's taste buds. Until he connects with his compassion and integrity (assuming he has these things) nothing will change this person. When you asked him about the humane way of killing and he answered “I don’t have to answer that”… Yes he does. Because HE has to define what humans killing is in order to see whether or not there’s a contradiction in his morals. I would’ve made him answer that question then ran name the trait.
I think some people know they can change but change can be scary bc it’s so new we should find a way to reassure that change to veganism won’t change anything in their life just besides the swaps …I think pain also can have a big factor ppl will do what works and veganism is such a small minority that they don’t know if it will work for them …great work guys ❤
I don't get it - I welcomed the change, I was sick of my flesh diet and just got the epiphany. I think it's something they're lacking inside plus they're just selfish narcissists.

If not their might be pain included. And to be veganism is less pain less harm and that includes us as humans it’s just a slower change for some . It took me nine years to make a connection and when i did I was appalled and threw out everything i knew* that wasn’t vegan but change brought great lessons and great pain for me as I was already battling that veganism was the out for me but sometimes it s hard to see through the pain idk I honestly agree with you change should be made straight away as I did the little things got harder for but I was homeless before veganism and still with no income it gets harder and painful when it comes to those items that are harder to get when poor this guy here seems a different case being he knows the Tate brothers I’m sure he is somewhat well off I hate to keep rambling about myself but I believe my story can help I was vegan as far as I could until I wasn’t and there was struggle in that wall and still for me is even though it’s getting better and I’ll never go back I’ll always fight for the animals regardless of how I have to do it …I live in the us not sure if it makes a difference but possibly ????????

If we fail to convince someone of going vegan than - from a psychological perspective - I believe that we might pursuade them of trying one vegan meal. If a person such as Rory could only see that it's not that difficult to be vegan, and just try one meal, then he might be encouraged to do another one, and another one, until the goal post is moved all the way to the vegan side. I know that from an ethical standpoint we want abolition and full adherence, but the question we need to ask ourselves ought to be: "Do we want to be right or do we want to be effective?" Some people need to make the change in steps rather than do a 180.
