Affordable absolutely not. The corruption of the British railway system is mind blowing. In 2016 the railway regulatory body announced the rail network was running approximately 17 percent under standard. Ummmm so the chairman's /directors still took over 14 million pounds in bonuses with the largest rise in ticket prices seen in the UK for many years. It really really boils my blood. But you see us British just shrug our shoulders moan a little and move on. I now live in Spain
So... we should clean the trains as *paying* passengers and not you know.... *PAYED* cleaners? With those ticket prices, surely they can afford cleaners

In the UK hoover has become synonymous with vacuum cleaner. It's probably the same like how Americans call non-band aid plasters band aids
We always refer to them as Dyson Hoovers, to make Dyson salespersons (and pedants) wince. They make a Dyson Hoover Roomba now too, but they are too expensive.
