I think that the analogy between a chain of amino acids and writing a sentence is a great example of understanding how a protein structure looks like!!!
Hey sir, I hope you are doing well Could you correct me plz if I'm wrong I think gastric epithelium has exocrine and endocrine activities as well 34:28
professorfink Could you please make those projected notes (with out your annotations) attainable for print? or lead/link me to where they are available? Lastly Thank you for your upload your videos are very helpful.
Thank you professor Fink. Your lectures are so good to follow. I study nutrition in Norway, but learn more from your lectures! And for the first time I think physiology is fun and studying is a pleasure. Thank you.
I have heard from other research doctors that dietary cholesterol is NOT absorbed directly and in fact can't be. Time mark 32: Also some oral ingestion can be made through absorption into the mouth tissue, right, making the choice of absorption paths greater than oral or injection. i.e dermal, transdermal patches etc. which bring into play the oral sprays that are to be held in the mouth and not swallowed (micronutrients (minerals)).
Dear professor Fink I'm super fan of you and already get enriched by your teaching, but I have a comment on a statement you mentioned in the lecture regarding the cyanide poisoning antidote that there is no an antidote, buyer what about the known antidote hydroxcoblamine
min 8:35 his face reaction to vegans. I am an alternating vegetarian/vegan, and I never laughed so hard as this to such reaction, loving it, see the perspective.
Dear Professor fink! I have a question regarding cyanide. If I'm correct, cyanide is found in cigarette. Then how about people who inhale this substance through smoking? Why does it only have a long term affect on their bodies? Thank you
some of enzyme inhibitors are so important to us like aceylcholine sterase found in the post synaptic neurons they do inhibit when acetylcholine ends its work, if they didn't, non inhibited acetylcholine can couse frequense samation or un wanted movement and the person will do jerk proffesor.
Good Question. Thyroxin is not a protein ("polypeptide") hormone, but actually a modified amino acid (the amino acid tyrosine with attached iodine). So, it is not digested further, but absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Thus, it can be taken orally.

The proteins (in your food) are going to be digested into individual amino acids (so it doesn't matter if the proteins uncoil ("denature"). HOWEVER, you don't want the proteins in your own body to uncoil & stop working.
I love it when he does the voices of the student asking a question. Lol. This guy’s awesome.

Sir, your great service to us students, much appreciated.
Great work !!!
I love this guys teaching style I wish I could take every class he has
Thank you so much professor 🤓 it's amazing to listen to you're lectures
Came here to learn about amino acids. Job done. Thanks!!
Thank you for such a great lecture, Professor Fink
Thank you for the lectures . The clapping is awesome . It wakes me up .
Dr.Fink
You are the best !!I love your lectures!!

You are gifted with teaching, Thank-you Sir
This cycle of lectures is just amazing and so engaging, thank you very much professor Fink!
Very informative i learnt something new today

Love your teaching btw keep on sharing and thank you so much
Saludos y muchas, MUCHAS GRACIAS desde México :D
Thanks you very much Prof.

d insight u provide in topics is all that is essential to know...thank u so much..

I was trying to get a better understanding on Amino Acid for work out purposes
Cool lecture!

Thanks, it helped a lot!
Makes the complex simple.
Perfect
Sorry, last post needed a "c" to make it Cell Killer
What exact course this? Biology or Physiology?
As the Title Indicates: PHYSIOLOGY; Review of Amino Acids & Proteins

should come to University of Zambia someday
Why nature use only left handed amino acids to make different type of proteins?
It’s funny when you do that thing with your voice hahahaha
Great lecture.
Inportant to note, however, it turns out there is indeed an antidotal intervention for cyanide poisoning.

thats not true hydroxycobalamin binds the cyanide
If heat denatures protein, then how are we all alive from cooking our meats?

This comment makes me question about the declining of humanity.
