Hello from Malaysia mate. Here we got it brand new, it was first sold back during Dec 2009 / Jan 2001. There's well over 100 units still on the road here. Some of 'em are making over 30 on wheel HP with the stock Gilardoni blocks, but with oversized pistons and 55mm crankshaft. We've tested the PM59 and PD Hornet ( stainless steel version ), the PM pipe works superbly, the PD Hornet needs more power ( perhaps a 200cc block ) to make it perform. The worst part is rear tire choices as 130/60/13 choices is so limited. Back during 2001 - 2002 I rode my SP180 ( the one with the rolling nut on the CVT cover ) at SIC ( Sepang International Circuit ) and the best tire I'd say is the Pirelli Evo 21 / Evo 22 combo. The Malossi CDi only works when the setup is still screaming even when at over 10k RPM.
Salve vi seguo da un po di tempo complimenti sieti molto professionale, volevo sapere che tipo di cilindro è, e che tipo di modifiche gli hai fatto fare??
Hej Nice bike, i have a Gilera Dna. And i just love That bike, it is pretty rare to. How many Rpm does that kit take? What is it you put on cylinder before gasket? And is it to hold gasket?
Ciao! Can you please advise me,for what jets sizes I can use for a Hexagon 180cc 2T factory engine, factory marmite, with a 26mm Pwk carburetor, and stock air filter ,or sport filter.? Thank you !
@@Scooterswapshop I'm in Romania, and I bought everything from China. It's a bit difficult to do what you suggested. :) :) I just asked for some guidance, other ways I can handle it. But for an easier star up point ,some jet dimensions would have been nice. :)
im going to get a gilera runner 50cc tomorrow but needs a tiny bit of work als it has a chrome plastic set like the shielding/caps idk how you say it english :P
The runner is probably the best scooter ever made for rideability, Balance of it is perfect, Spend some money it will do 100mph+. Throw the beer under the seat with some ice lol
My gf pointed out that I look like a monkey sitting on a toilet when I ride the yamaha Jog or her Vino. But on the runner I'm a badass 😎 😂 The seat compartment can hold 18 beers and a pack of cigarettes
I adapted a cargo net (fastened with large washers) into one of the seat bottoms I cut out so I could still plonk my helmet under my seat without worrying about it falling out or resting on the carby or tyre

@@Scooterswapshop you can get 40hp out of the pm but then you must stroke it from 172 to 200cc, here in Europe there are many company's that tune the gilera 180 with the gilardoni also stroked to 200cc with a piston from a Yamaha blaster 200 2 stroke and a custom innerhead

we did it all at once but its noticeable on other builds
