- Race day for the 2023 Riverland Dinghy Derby. Lets take a ride inside a 30hp Rookies boat. Nick and Luke take out 2nd place in their first race stepping up to the Rookies class with a very impressive time of 1hr 21mins and 27secs to complete the 100km race.
Definitely an adrenaline rush!!!! Really enjoyed watching this video! Great job!!!

I have the 3 cylinder HDML 30 HP Yamaha on my Quinnie fishing tinnies.... looks brand new and in perfect order..... never been thrashed. Tempted to go down the four stroke path.

All racing is held in the Riverland South Australia 🇦🇺 people travel from all around Aus to race this race
How do you keep from whacking a stump with the prop?
We do a few hours of pre running to try and find a race line but there are a few that have been mark with boys on them 🤙🤙
Curious, is there a 4 stroke class?
You could run a 4 stoke in any of the classes but most run the 2 stroke as we get better speed out of them
@@BarelyStandardRacing ya, thats why I thought there might be a 4 stroke class...those 3cyl. Yamahas can fly (2 stroke)
