Been watching for ages, always been trying to pinpoint the feeling this gives me as an American in my 20's that's been watching since I was like 16. Great time all around. Had to get this one down before the thought left me.

This was the first live wrestling show I’ve ever been to. It was such an amazing experience. Love you guys, glad you got a question in and it was nice reliving it again with this video.
Awesome episode lads. Genuinely warms my cockles hearing OOC is back watching a weekly wrestling program! I was also at Wembley and experienced the best and worst of wrestling fandom, the best being two younger fans marking out over getting to see everyone, the worst being a bunch of smarks behind me constantly demonstrating their insider knowledge (calling Adam Cole by his real name, etc.). Only other downside was ALL OUT being a week later and feeling they saved some bigger singles matches for that event. So happy I went, but will definitely be watching from home next year.
Thanks for the vid lads. Just wanna say since it's been a bit since I thought about that show, that hug at the end was one of the best moments (for me) in wrestling history. As soon as Jay mentioned Jeff Jarrett at the AEW Party on Saturday, I instantly knew what it was going to be about and I was right. I was there and it was pretty cringeworthy. Gotta love OOC & V1 shitting on wrestling fans at the end and I don’t blame them. There was a guy in the row in front of me who literally recorded the entire show on his phone and I was flabbergasted at that. Great episode guys and I couldn’t stop giggling whenever you went back to shitting on Alvarez and Fozzy etc. Also, you got the name wrong (it was Luke not Oli at the scrum etc) but you did record some of this in all hours of the morning so probably a easy mistake to make.
15:45 You could also see Simon Miller at the Garage Entrance at one of the arena corners. He was there for the final match taking pictures with fans it was pretty dope!
26:20 important to note that Punk was asked by AEW Management to dissuade Perry from using real glass because he had already disregarded what Schiavone and the medical professional for AEW had said to him, rather than Punk just taking it upon himself to put down Perry.
Woah, what's the source on that? I'm generally with the OSW guys on their opinion of Punk generally vs this dispute, but if that's true then a) yeah, for once I'm with Punk, and b) why the hell did they decide to get *him* to deliver the message that Perry wouldn't like? Surely they knew that would end in tears?
See that's not the version I've seen at all. From what I read, the issue was that Perry got permission from AEW management to use real glass, and they signed off on it months ago. Punk too, agreed. And then on the day of the show, he tried to back out, and AEW decided to back out as well, and Perry was pissed because they'd already agreed and set up the spot and the match beforehand. Which, admittedly, is fair to be pissed about. If you spent a long time jumping through hoops and then they back out day of, that's frustrating.
@@shawnconway6009this is what i heard as well, additionally that Punk and his company had believed Jack was trying to use the glass spot to get time off work.
@@MillionBitGamer That I hadn't heard. The version of events that I heard, and the reason Jack was so pissed off, was that he'd cleared the glass spot with management and Punk months before it happened, and Punk pulled out of it beforehand, and basically sunk all that time and effort on a whim. Jack, rather unprofessionally in my opinion, decided to confront him about it when he did. But this isn't a case, from everything I've seen, where either guy is in the right; Punk shouldn't have agreed beforehand if he didn't want to do it, and Jack shouldn't have decided right then was the time to hash this out.

Gotta love Jay asking a blatantly deeply profound question at the presser and then being surprised TK didn't turn it into a gag like a regular bloke would.
Cable in the monitor is SDI Jay! Standard used by broadcasters since '89, there's a HD version but it's the same cable type + has a built-in "lock" so even if you trip on it, unlikely to disconnect, hope it helps 👍
I live on Long Island and I actually bumped in to MJF while getting lunch. Dude is SUPER chill and even took the time to chat with me and take a picture. Hell of a guy and won me over as a fan for life.
These lads are the hardest workers in the business! Not only making the greatest content for a pittance, but showing out for the early birthday guy. Incredible! Thank you for the instant classic, it's about time someone buys you fellas a pint. Not me, but someone should for sure.
Jay's passion & excitement reqll shine through whilst asking that question at the scrum, it really is infectious, you guys have made me fall back in love with wrestling agian and I feel like one of the boys whilst wwtching these video's ... Thank you OSW !!.
27:10 So, the rumors and scuttlebutt i hear is that Jack Perry didn't want worked glass for a windshield spot. Windshield glass is laminated glass which means it just flexes and cracks. (If it can withstand hitting a kangaroo at 100 kmh, it can hold Jack Perry) This is a spot that has been done several times and is SAFER than worked glass as sugar glass shatters, meaning Jack Perry would fall onto the dashboard or down into the seats or console. And since Jack was going to fo on vacation for a few weeks, it was a good kayfabe excuse for him being out for some time. Jack Perry already had approval from Tony, the "Council", and the medical team: but not Punk. Collision was Punk's show and said "No, I have the final call" I don't know if it was Phil looking out for him, a power trip, or didn't want to get upstaged. But highway safety standards are on Jack Perry's side here.
Turns out, he wanted to just use a rental car. No work, just rent a car, break the window, and give it back with a broken window. Punk took issue with rental places not wanting to make deals with wrestlers if turn in messed up cars, which happened before.
It's amazing how quickly wrestling fans on the internet have proven the OSW boys right about them in the comments section. The amount of vitriol and hate that comes out because the boys liked a modern wrestling show, and expressed opinions that some tribalistic people don't agree with is insane. I wonder why OOC, and most people, hate wrestling fans... It's embarrassing.
5 months later here mate! You around the boys at OSW are even more right! 😂😂😂 I'll point out what I didn't like in AEW and I get called an E Drone. I mention something negative about WWE? I'm and AEW mark 😂 Thankfully, the WWE side seems to have calmed down as they're happy right now I guess. Mention anything about Tony taking the main even and Swerve being mistreated? Oh I'm scum 😂😂
@@Sky_Blaze I was not a Jay White guy for the longest time, I watched him as a young lion in RoH all the way to now and he’s always been a good wrestler but not much else to me. He’s in the same vein as an Adam Cole to me. But Juice has been great ever since he started in New Japan to me. He always had great promos, a good look, good matches and a great finish. He’s so good of an all around wrestler that he made me care about Bullet Club in 2023. I really hope he gets to main event status one day.
Learning that mjf helped you guys get press passes to this event makes me love him even more. What an awesome fucking guy! 1:02:20 One year later and I can confirm they did not fix the merch issue at All In 2024. Waited in the queue and there was nothing worth getting, and that was an hour before the show started. Generic AEW tops, £60 AEW hoody and a wembly 2024 t-shirt that wasn't as good as the one from last year (that I was wearing). Just grab a ton of the stuff on the website. I would have probably bought an Osprey or Swerve shirt, or both. I'm middle aged with no kids, so I've got money to spend (kinda).
So at one point Steve says Punk is great at in ring work amongst other things but a few minutes later says he's clumsy. A few mins later he says that the crowd will be full of smarks but then says that the crowd don't know who White and Ibushi are. Which ones are they Steve?
My argument on the second point: smarks aren't watching NJPW anymore, not since The Elite left and NJPW lost steam due to COVID/pushing EVIL to their world title.
Hearing you guys talk about Wrestletalk, who I watch and get my wrestling news from daily at work since I don't have cable, is so surreal. Would love to get them on the show if ever possible. Love those guys and love you all. Smooches
OOC is absolutely spot on about wrestling shows. At its purest, the best fan experience is at an indie show where you're 5 feet from the wrestlers. Anything past those first 5 rows like he said and you're gonna get a better experience watching from the comfort of your home, its the same thing with the NFL
I have to disagree. The first five rows are hardly the best seat in the house. You don't have a full view of the ring & ramp, you're looking UP the entire time, and the angles are very off. I find those overpriced seats to be for super marks. I would say the best seats for wrestling shows are something similar to a hard camera seat, centered view of the ring and you can see the stage as well. This is also an optimal spot for filming house shows.
Love OOC, but I thought that was a ridiculous take. The lads should just leave him at home next time if he gets nothing out of an experience like that.
01:43:11 - Shingo is the man. Osprey always gets his props and rightly so! I've still yet to see an 'ok' Shingo match. They always range from excellent to outstanding.
@@dereklong2839 It was not meant as a rip-off. He was feuding with the guy who had the exact same promo cut on him in TNA. It was just a reference and MJF killed it.
@@dereklong2839 The point of a reference is not about originality. It is literally in the word. If he flubbed it, then yeah it looks silly. But he didn't.
Thanks for the review guys, it was like being there again. It was my first time going to see a televised Wrestling show and I can’t wait to go again next year. Also whilst I understand your issues with wrestling fans, for me personally, it made me enjoy the show more. Yeah there was one annoying person behind me but it didn’t ruin the show for me. I also disagree with you guys on the Anarchy in the Arena match. Again I actually think being in the crowd made me enjoy it more as I was surrounded by people all reacting at the same time. Also I was sat in a good spot so I could see the wrestlers fighting in the crowd. My brother took me who knows very little about wrestling (the only wrestlers he knew were CM Punk, Chris Jericho & Big Show) and he actually said that Anarchy in the Arena was his favourite match of the night. Finally Adam Cole vs MJF is be one of my new favourite matches of all time. Surprised to hear that people apparently didn’t like it because I didn’t hear anyone criticise it.
Footage of the guy in the audience saying "SHOWTIME" before Sting did, was a good call back in the video. I do believe he is a bigger fan than all of the rest.
I watched the AEW media scrum live and am not ashamed to say I marked out a little when Jay asked his question. Interesting to hear your views on Moxley changing a bit since your previous AEW Revolution review. I'm a bit torn as I realize he has talent and still enjoy watching him, but for me, he went from being the coolest guy in wrestling in 2019 to being the guy who predictably blades in every match and can't wait to throw himself into weapons. Similar to Abyss going from being a cool monster in 2005 to being a guy who constantly lands in thumbtacks in 2008.
Loved the video boys! Didn’t think it would be possible to feel nostalgic for a show I went to 3 months ago but apparently it is 😂 Favourite moment of the show is MJF Pillmanising himself with the chair - I laughed for a solid 5 minutes!
Saw Rock vs Hogan live and yes we made the match what it was but I have fond memories of the entire event. We were up in the 400 section of the Skydome (the nosebleeds if you will) yet i felt like i was ringside the entire night.. Wrestling is totally a spectator sport whether or not your ringside, it all depends on the atmosphere
Dude Rock Hogan is my #1 match I wish I was there live. I had people over to the gaf watching X8 and it was still an incredible experience, must have been insaaaane in the crowd! So jealous! - J
This was an awesome review as always. Absolutely loved it. This review almost made me want to watch more modern wrestling. I’m an old school fan. Give me early to mid 90’s WCW any day but this review has given me more of an appreciation for modern wrestling. Just like the Lex Express/New Generation story arch did for the New Gen as a whole. Keep it up lads. Cheers

I don't normally comment about potential Quote of the Year nominations, but Jay's "The whole caravan gets up in arms" tickled me in a way I wasn't expecting. 1:15:00

RiP Windham Rotunda. He would have contributed to this business another 40 years at least. We lost a great one😢
Great job as always, guys. You make us all... PROUD
Proud?
PROWED!
Always have a few one liners that are funny AF in reviews
...Get the fuck outta the way!
MJF doing the full Scott Steiner math promo without any issue just shows how great a promo he is.
Definitely impressed with how he had the whole damn thing memorized and didn't stumble once.
Everyone did great. The little bits of Renee trying to do the math in her head and Cole just being the hype man and nodding along just added to it
The only way I get to watch AEW is through OSW Review. Thanks Guys. Also love the Bray Wyatt tribute.
Can't believe he passed from a heart attack, dude was only 2 years older than me. O_o
Wrestling man....
@@planescapedPart of me still isn't convinced he's passed away.
Why is it the only way you get to watch it? 🤨
@@planescaped I heard it was also to do with covid complications making the body weaker, same reason Keith Lee was ill and hasn't been used much. Seems like being overweight + covid might have exacerbated previously unknown heart issues.
@@Bubba__SawyerI just not into AEW.
Gotta love Jay asking a blatantly deeply profound question at the presser and then being surprised TK didn't turn it into a gag like a regular bloke would.
The “LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BROTHERS” at 2:11:48 makes me laugh every single time
Thanks for another banger lads
Watching from Toronto. I don’t even watch wrestling but I watch you guys and Botchamania. Love it
Cable in the monitor is SDI Jay!
Cannot wait to watch this!
Thanks for the early birthday present lads!
Early happy birthday to you brah! 💚🍻
Nov bday represent 👊 same here
Same here
These lads are the hardest workers in the business!
OOC miserably bobbing his head to Fozzy is a top 10 OSW moment!
Holy Moly that editing. In the beginning there's a fitting clip for every second word.
CatDog MJF was something I didn't know I needed till now.
Killers of the Flower Moon in the day and OSWReview at night. PERRRfect day.
I've always called the "Samoa Joe Walkaway" spot the "Samoa Nope", ever since I saw it back in TNA as a kid in '05,'06ish lol.

So, the rumors and scuttlebutt i hear is that Jack Perry didn't want worked glass for a windshield spot. Windshield glass is laminated glass which means it just flexes and cracks. (If it can withstand hitting a kangaroo at 100 kmh, it can hold Jack Perry)
This is a spot that has been done several times and is SAFER than worked glass as sugar glass shatters, meaning Jack Perry would fall onto the dashboard or down into the seats or console.
And since Jack was going to fo on vacation for a few weeks, it was a good kayfabe excuse for him being out for some time.
Jack Perry already had approval from Tony, the "Council", and the medical team: but not Punk. Collision was Punk's show and said "No, I have the final call"
I don't know if it was Phil looking out for him, a power trip, or didn't want to get upstaged.
Im so glad you guys are back in doing this! your quality never faded!
11:21 Jay was far too quick on the draw on that one. I think he's in cahoots with Shane Sewell.
My Kayfabe uncle getting over
They should get you to do an ad break questionarium one of these days, MDB.
@@codyssmith73 I'd be up for it!
OSW Review going out of their way to pay to see Fozzy lol
28:07 watching this after the All In footage was released makes it even better
Mox Vision is the most hilarious way to stay monetized. Bravo!
Brilliantly put mate
5 months later here mate! You around the boys at OSW are even more right! 😂😂😂 I'll point out what I didn't like in AEW and I get called an E Drone. I mention something negative about WWE? I'm and AEW mark 😂
Thankfully, the WWE side seems to have calmed down as they're happy right now I guess.
Mention anything about Tony taking the main even and Swerve being mistreated? Oh I'm scum 😂😂
Guys, you are the absolute mvps of wrestling.
Genuinely so hyped when you drop a new vid. Great work as always gents.
I’m shocked that the OSW Boys don’t like Juice Robinson, he’s so great, genuinely my favorite heel wrestler in AEW
@@Sky_Blaze the accent...lol thats his real accent.
rare OSW L
@@Sky_Blaze lmao what
Learning that mjf helped you guys get press passes to this event makes me love him even more. What an awesome fucking guy! Must’ve done the face turn in anticipation of Osw outing him as a real life good guy! Happy for all of your success guys! Cant believe I’ve been watching this for FIVE years! Love you guys so much! Thank you for all the entertainment, all of the interaction, and for restoring my love for pro wrestling much like wyndham rotunda did back in 2016… gonna miss him tons, but I’ll never miss an episode of osw ❤️

One year later and I can confirm they did not fix the merch issue at All In 2024.
The best moment of this show was OOC arms folded refusing to enjoy Judas surrounded by 71999 singing smiling people
So at one point Steve says Punk is great at in ring work amongst other things but a few minutes later says he's clumsy. A few mins later he says that the crowd will be full of smarks but then says that the crowd don't know who White and Ibushi are. Which ones are they Steve?
Boy, I hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
My argument on the second point: smarks aren't watching NJPW anymore, not since The Elite left and NJPW lost steam due to COVID/pushing EVIL to their world title.
No half measures with OSW. Putting together a feature length project with such spunk, bravo!☕
Hearing you guys talk about Wrestletalk, who I watch and get my wrestling news from daily at work since I don't have cable, is so surreal. Would love to get them on the show if ever possible. Love those guys and love you all.
Smooches
And you guys calling Denise and Sean the class geeks made my night.
I can’t express how much I love the fact that Jay and V1 used their press passes to go to the scrum and just fuck with everyone
37:37 the Punk/Mrs Doyle diving elbow comparison is hilariously accurate 😂
Can't wait to watch, lads. Thanks for another video which I know will be brilliant. You three are the true elite.
The NFL has so many more options for great seats. Just don't sit at the top.
Football is a great experience no matter where you are in the stadium
Love OOC, but I thought that was a ridiculous take. The lads should just leave him at home next time if he gets nothing out of an experience like that.
Second tier/upper deck- first row is the best experience
My first time watching an OSW Review of a show I was at in person, incredible stuff
This feels more like OSW of old. Sounds like you're having fun and buzzing
01:43:11 - Shingo is the man. Osprey always gets his props and rightly so! I've still yet to see an 'ok' Shingo match.
They always range from excellent to outstanding.
OOC politely no selling Judas might be the funniest thing I've ever seen. My face hurt from smiling at that. Thanks Steve.
I DIED marking out when I heard Jay during the scrum live
Im going through a pretty shitty divorce right now. You guys have been the only thing that I've been able to watch, enjoy, and laugh. So thank you.
Adam Cole nearly chewing through his own cheek to stop from corpsing in MJF's Steiner Math promo is my low-key highlight.
@@Sky_Blazevery literally no originality. It was just the exact promo verbatim. Just a pure memberberry
What is a “low-key highlight”.
@@dereklong2839 It was not meant as a rip-off. He was feuding with the guy who had the exact same promo cut on him in TNA. It was just a reference and MJF killed it.
@@JackLawrence-dn2jb a verbatim reference with absolutely no alterations is what some might call, unoriginal
OOC generally dislikes one kind of people: Other people.
Footage of the guy in the audience saying "SHOWTIME" before Sting did, was a good call back in the video. I do believe he is a bigger fan than all of the rest.
Jay's "Nah-Nah" joke flying totally under the radar cracked me up.
I'm so happy you guys did this.
Really awesome video everyone!! Loved every moment. Thank you!
Didn’t think it would be possible to feel nostalgic for a show I went to 3 months ago but apparently it is 😂
Favourite moment of the show is MJF Pillmanising himself with the chair - I laughed for a solid 5 minutes!
So jealous! - J
@@OSW All love brother! Personally to me your content is insane!! Cheers lads
'Band Of Jobbers' - now that's a TV series I'd pay to stream.
Beefer, Nasty Boy Nobbs, Mudslide....
I stopped watching wrestling back in 2001, OSW makes me want to start watching it again.
Cheers
Crazy to see myself in an OSW review. 2nd row behind the commentary box in the Bret Hart tee. Absolutely amazing day.
15:41 I think that’s also Michael Oku
Thanks for making this
Cheers Darktone brother!
